1There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
1ДАР байни фарксиён шахсе ки Ниқӯдимус ном дошт, аз сардорони яҳудиён буд.
2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
2Вай шабона назди Исо омада, гуфт: «Эй Ӯстод! Мо медонем, ки Ту Ӯстоде ҳастӣ, ки аз ҷониби Худо омадай; зеро мӯъҷйзотеро, ки Ту нишон медиҳӣ, ҳеҷ кас наметавонад ншнон диҳад, ҷуз ин ки Худо бо вай бошад».
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3Исо дар ҷавоби вай гуфт: «Ба ростй, ба ростӣ ба ту мегӯям: кас агар аз олами боло таваллуд наёбад, Малакути Худоро дида наметавонад».
4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
4Никӯдимус ба Ӯ гуфт: «Чӣ гуна мумкин аст, ки одаме ки пир шуда бошад, таваллуд ёбад? Оё метавонад боз ба шиками модараш баргашта» таваллуд ёбад?»
5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
5Исо ҷавоб дод: «Ба ростй, ба ростӣ ба ту мегӯям: кас агар аз об ва Рӯҳ таваллуд наёбад, ба Малакути Худо даромада наметавонад:
6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
6«Он чи аз ҷисм таваллуд меёбад, ҷисм аст, ва он чи аз Рӯҳ таваллуд меёбад, рӯҳ аст.
7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
7«Аз он чи ба ту гуфтам, тааҷҷуб накун: бояд шумо аз олами боло таваллуд ёбед.
8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
8«Бод ҳар ҷо ки хоҳад мевазад, ту овози онро мешунавй, лекин намедонӣ, ки аз куҷо меояд ва ба куҷо меравад: чунин аст ҳолати ҳар кӣ аз Рӯҳ таваллуд ёфта бошад».
9Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
9Никӯдимус дар ҷавобиӮгуфт: «Чӣ тавр мумкин аст, ки чунин шавад?»
10Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
10Исо дар ҷавоби вай гуфт: «Ту ки як устоди Исроил ҳастй, инҳоро намедонӣ?
11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
11«Ба ростӣ, ба ростӣ ба ту мегӯям: Мо аз он чи медонем, сухан мегӯем ва бар он чи дидаем, шаҳодат медиҳем, лекин шумо шаҳодати Моро қабул намекунед;
12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
12«Вақте ки ба шумо аз чизҳои заминӣ сухан гуфтам, бовар накардед, пас ҳар гоҳ аз чизҳои осмонӣ сухан ронам, чӣ сон имон хоҳед овард?
13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
13«Ҳеҷ кас ба осмон сууд накардааст, магар фақат Он ки аз осмон нузул кардааст, яъне Писари Одам, ки ҷояш дар осмон аст;
14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
14«Ва чунон ки Мусо дар биёбон морро боло бардошт, Писари Одам низ бояд ончунон боло бурда шавад,
15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
15«То ҳар кй ба Ӯ имон оварад, талаф нашавад, балки ҳаёти ҷовидонӣ ёбад.
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
16«Зеро Худо ҷаҳонро чунон дӯст дошт, ки Писари ягонаи Худро дод, то ҳар кӣ ба Ӯ имон оварад, талаф нашавад, балки ҳаёти ҷовидонӣ ёбад.
17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
17«Зеро Худо Писари Худро ба ҷаҳон барои он нафиристод, ки бар ҷаҳон доварӣ кунад, балки барои он ки ҷаҳон ба воситаи Ӯ наҷот ёбад.
18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
18«Ҳар кӣ ба Ӯ имон оварад, маҳкум намешавад, лекин ҳар кӣ имон наоварад, аллакай маҳкум шудааст, чунки ба исми Писари ягонаи Худо имон наовардааст.
19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
19«Ва ҳукм ин аст, ки нур ба ҷаҳон омад; вале мардум торикиро бештар аз рӯшной дӯст доштанд, чунки аъмоли онҳо бад аст.
20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
20«Зеро ҳар киро кирдор бад бошад, аз рӯшноӣ нафрат дорад ва пеши рӯшноӣ намеояд, то ки аъмолаш ошкор нашавад;
21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
21«Лекин ҳар кӣ росткор аст, пеши рушноӣ меояд, то ошкор бошад, ки аъмолаш ба василаи Худо содир шудааст».
22After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
22Пас аз он Исо бо шогирдонаш ба сарзамини Яҳудо омад ва дар он ҷо бо онҳо сокин шуда, таъмид медод.
23And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
23Ва Яҳьё низ дар Энӯн, ки дар наздикии Солим аст, таъмид медод, чунки дар он ҷо об бисьёр буд, ва мардум омада, таъмид меёфтанд;
24For John was not yet cast into prison.
24Зеро ки Яҳьё ҳанӯз дар зиндон андохта нашуда буд.
25Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
25Ва дар байни шогирдони Яҳьё ва яҳудиён дар масъалаи татҳир баҳсу мунозира рӯй дод;
26And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
26Ва назди Яҳьё омада, ба вай гуфтанд: «Эй устод! Он Касе ки дар он тарафи Ӯрдун бо ту буд, ва ту дар ҳаққи Ӯ шаҳодат дода будӣ, ҳоло таъмид медиҳад, ва ҳама назди Ӯ меоянд».
27John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
27Яҳьё дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Кас наметавонад чизе ба зиммаи худ бигирад, магар ин ки аз осмон ба вай дода шавад.
28Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
28«Шумо худ шоҳидони ман ҳастед, ки гуфтам: "Ман Масеҳ нестам, балки фақат пешопеши Ӯ фиристода шудаам".
29He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
29«Касе ки арӯс дорад, домод аст; аммо дӯсти домод, ки истода, 6а овози вай гӯш медиҳад, аз игунидани овози домод бисьёр шод мегардад: ҳамин шодии ман акнун комил шудааст;
30He must increase, but I must decrease.
30«Ӯ бояд нашъунамо ёбад, ва ман завол ёбам.
31He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
31«Он ки аз боло меояд, аз ҳама болотар аст; ва он ки аз замин аст, заминӣ бошад ва чун заминӣ сухан гӯяд; Он ки аз осмон меояд, аз ҳама болотар аст.
32And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
32«Ва он чи дидааст ва шунидааст, бар он шаҳодат медиҳад, ва ҳеҷ кас шаҳодати Ӯро қабул намекунад.
33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
33«Ва касе ки шаҳодати Ӯро қабул кард, тасдиқ кардааст, ки Худо рост аст.
34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
34«Зеро Он Касе ки Худо фиристод, каломи Худоро мегуяд; зеро Худо Рӯҳро бамизон ато намекунад.
35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
35«Падар Писарро дӯст медорад ва ҳама чизро ба дасти Ӯ додааст.
36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
36«Ҳар кӣ ба Писар имон оварад, ҳаёти ҷовидонй меёбад. Ва ҳар кй ба Писар имон наоварад, ҳаётро нахоҳад дид, балки ғазаби Худо бар вай мемонад».
