¹And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

¹ПАС аз чанд рӯз Ӯ боз ба Кафарнаҳум омад; овоза шуд, ки Ӯ дар хона аст.

²And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

²Дарҳол мардуми бисьёр ҷамъ омаданд, ба андозае ки назди дари хона низ дигар ҷой набуд; ва Ӯ ба онҳо сухан мегуфт.

³And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

³Ва назди Ӯ бо мафлуҷе омаданд, ки вайро чор кас бардошта буданд;

⁴And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

⁴Ва чун ба сабаби бисьёрии мардум ба Ӯ наздик омада натавонистанд, боми он ҷоеро, ки Ӯ буд, кушода шикоф карданд ва бистареро, ки мафлуҷ дар болояш хобида буд, поён фуроварданд.

⁵When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

⁵Чун Исо имони онҳоро дид, ба мафлуҷ гуфт: «Эй фарзанд, гуноҳҳои ту омурзида шуд».

⁶But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

⁶Баъзе китобдонон, ки дар он ҷо нишаста буданд, дар дили худ андеша доштанд,

⁷Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

⁷Ки « чаро Ӯ ин тавр куфр мекунад? Ҷуз Худои ягона кист, ки гуноҳҳоро омурзида тавонад?»

⁸And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

⁸Исо дарҳол бар тибқи рӯҳи Худ дарьёфт, ки онҳо чунин андеша доранд, ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Барои чӣ дар дили худ ин тавр андеша доред?

⁹Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

⁹«Кадомаш осонтар аст: ба мафлуҷ гуфтани он ки "гуноҳҳои ту омурзида шуд", ё гуфтани он ки "бархез, бистари худро бардор ва равона шав"?

¹⁰But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

¹⁰«Лекин то бидонед, ки Писари Одам дар рӯи замин қудрати омурзидани гуноҳҳоро дорад», - ба мафлуҷ гуфт:

¹¹I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

¹¹«Ба ту мегӯям: бархез, бистари худро бардор ва ба хонаи худ равона шав».

¹²And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

¹²Вай дарҳол бархост ва бистари худро бардошта, дар пеши назари ҳама равона шуд, ба тавре ки ҳама ҳайрон шуданд ва Худоро сипоскунон гуфтанд: «Мисли инро ҳаргиз надидаем».

¹³And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

¹³Ва боз ба канори баҳр рафт; мардум ба назди Ӯ омаданд, ва Ӯ онҳоро таълим медод.

¹⁴And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

¹⁴Ҳангоми рафтанаш Левй ибни Ҳалфойро дид, ки дар боҷгоҳ нишастааст, ва ба вай гуфт: «Аз паи Ман биё». Вай бархоста, аз паи Ӯ равона шуд.

¹⁵And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

¹⁵Ва ҳангоме ки Ӯ дар хонаи вай нишаста буд, бисьёре аз боҷгирон ва гуноҳкорон низ бо Исо ва шогирдонаш менишастанд; зеро ки бисьёр буданд, ва Ӯро пайравӣ менамуданд.

¹⁶And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?

¹⁶Чун китобдонон ва фарисиён диданд, ки Ӯ бо боҷгирон ва гуноҳкорон хӯрок мехӯрад, ба шогирдонаш гуфтанд: «Чаро Ӯ бо боҷгирон ва гуноҳкорон мехӯраду менӯшад?»

¹⁷When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

¹⁷Исо ин гапро шунида, ба онҳо гуфт: «На тандурустон, балки беморон ба табиб ҳоҷат доранд. Маномадаам, ки на одилонро, балки гуноҳкоронро ба тавба даъват кунам».

¹⁸And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?

¹⁸Шогирдони Яҳьё ва фарисиён рӯза медопгтанд. Ва назди Ӯ омада гуфтанд: «Чаро шогирдони Яҳьё ва фарисиён рӯза медоранду шогирдони Ту рӯза намедоранд?»

¹⁹And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

¹⁹Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Оё аҳли кӯшки никоҳ, модоме ки домод бо онҳост, рӯза дошта метавонанд? То даме ки домод бо онҳост, наметавонанд рӯза доранд;

²⁰But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

²⁰«Лекин айёме хоҳад расид, ки домод аз онҳо гирифта шавад, ва дар он айём рӯза хоҳанд дошт.

²¹No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

²¹«Ҳеҷ кас ба ҷомаи кӯҳна аз матои нав ямоқ намемонад: зеро ямоқи нав аз чизи кӯҳна ҷудо шуда, ҷои даридаи он боз ҳам бадтар мешавад.

²²And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

²²«Ва ҳеҷ кас шароби навро ба машки кӯҳна намеандозад: зеро шароби нав машкро медарад; шароб ҳам мерезад, машк ҳам талаф мешавад; балки шароби навро дар машки нав андохтан лозим аст».

²³And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

²³Ва чунин воқеъ шуд, ки Ӯ рӯзи шанбе аз киштзор мегузашт, ва шогирдонаш дар аснои роҳ ба хӯшачинй сар карданд.

²⁴And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

²⁴Фарисиён ба Ӯ гуфтанд: «Бубин, онҳо дар рӯзи шанбе кореро чаро мекунанд, ки раво нест?»

²⁵And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

²⁵Ӯ ба онҳо гуфт: «Магар ҳаргиз нахондаед, ки Довуд дар эҳтиёчмандй чӣ кард, ҳангоме ки вай ва ёронаш гурусна буданд?

²⁶How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

²⁶«Чӣ гуна вай дар айёми Абьётори саркоҳин ба хонаи Худо даромада, нони тақдимро хӯрд, ки хӯрдани он, ҷуз коҳинон, ба касе раво набуд, ва ба ёрони худ низ дод?»

²⁷And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

²⁷Ба онҳо гуфт: «Шанбе барои инсон муқаррар шудааст, на инсон барои шанбе;

²⁸Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

²⁸«Бинобар ин Писари Одам оғои рӯзи шанбе низ мебошад».
