1And after the ceasing of the tumult, Paul having called near the disciples, and having embraced [them], went forth to go on to Macedonia;
1 Pan beidiodd y cynnwrf, anfonodd Paul am y disgyblion, ac wedi eu hannog, ffarweliodd hwy ac aeth ymaith ar ei ffordd i Facedonia.
2and having gone through those parts, and having exhorted them with many words, he came to Greece;
2 Wedi teithio trwy'r parthau hynny ac annog llawer ar y disgyblion yno, daeth i wlad Groeg.
3having made also three months` [stay] — a counsel of the Jews having been against him — being about to set forth to Syria, there came [to him] a resolution of returning through Macedonia.
3 Treuliodd dri mis yno, a phan oedd ar hwylio i Syria, gwnaeth yr Iddewon gynllwyn yn ei erbyn, a phenderfynodd ddychwelyd trwy Facedonia.
4And there were accompanying him unto Asia, Sopater of Berea, and of Thessalonians Aristarchus and Secundus, and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus, and of Asiatics Tychicus and Trophimus;
4 Ei gyd-deithwyr oedd Sopater o Berea, mab Pyrrhus, y Thesaloniaid Aristarchus a Secwndus, Gaius o Derbe, a Timotheus, a'r Asiaid Tychicus a Troffimus.
5these, having gone before, did remain for us in Troas,
5 Yr oedd y rhain wedi mynd o'n blaen, ac yn aros amdanom yn Troas.
6and we sailed, after the days of the unleavened food, from Philippi, and came unto them to Troas in five days, where we abode seven days.
6 Hwyliasom ninnau, wedi dyddiau'r Bara Croyw, o Philipi, a chyrraedd atynt yn Troas ymhen pum diwrnod; ac yno y buom am saith diwrnod.
7And on the first of the week, the disciples having been gathered together to break bread, Paul was discoursing to them, about to depart on the morrow, he was also continuing the discourse till midnight,
7 Ar ddydd cyntaf yr wythnos, daethom ynghyd i dorri bara. Dechreuodd Paul, a oedd i fynd ymaith drannoeth, eu hannerch, a daliodd i draethu hyd hanner nos.
8and there were many lamps in the upper chamber where they were gathered together,
8 Yr oedd llawer o lampau yn yr oruwchystafell lle'r oeddem wedi ymgynnull,
9and there was sitting a certain youth, by name Eutychus, upon the window — being borne down by a deep sleep, Paul discoursing long — he having sunk down from the sleep, fell down from the third story, and was lifted up dead.
9 ac yr oedd dyn ifanc o'r enw Eutychus yn eistedd wrth y ffenestr. Yr oedd hwn yn mynd yn fwy a mwy cysglyd, wrth i Paul ddal i ymhelaethu. Pan drechwyd ef yn llwyr gan gwsg, syrthiodd o'r trydydd llawr, a chodwyd ef yn gorff marw.
10And Paul, having gone down, fell upon him, and having embraced [him], said, `Make no tumult, for his life is in him;`
10 Ond aeth Paul i lawr; syrthiodd arno a'i gofleidio, a dywedodd, "Peidiwch chynhyrfu; y mae bywyd ynddo."
11and having come up, and having broken bread, and having tasted, for a long time also having talked — till daylight, so he went forth,
11 Yna aeth i fyny, a thorri'r bara a bwyta. Yna, wedi ymddiddan am amser hir hyd doriad dydd, aeth ymaith.
12and they brought up the lad alive, and were comforted in no ordinary measure.
12 Ond aethant 'r llanc adref yn fyw, ac fe'u calonogwyd yn anghyffredin.
13And we having gone before unto the ship, did sail to Assos, thence intending to take in Paul, for so he had arranged, intending himself to go on foot;
13 Ninnau, aethom o flaen Paul i'r llong, a hwylio i gyfeiriad Asos, gan fwriadu ei gymryd i'r llong yno; oblegid dyma'r cyfarwyddyd a roesai ef, gan fwriadu mynd ei hun dros y tir.
14and when he met with us at Assos, having taken him up, we came to Mitylene,
14 Pan gyfarfu ni yn Asos, cymerasom ef i'r llong a mynd ymlaen i Mitylene.
15and thence having sailed, on the morrow we came over-against Chios, and the next day we arrived at Samos, and having remained in Trogyllium, on the following day we came to Miletus,
15 Wedi hwylio oddi yno drannoeth, cyraeddasom gyferbyn Chios, a'r ail ddiwrnod croesi i Samos, a'r dydd wedyn dod i Miletus.
16for Paul decided to sail past Ephesus, that there may not be to him a loss of time in Asia, for he hasted, if it were possible for him, on the day of the Pentecost to be at Jerusalem.
16 Oherwydd yr oedd Paul wedi penderfynu hwylio heibio i Effesus, rhag iddo orfod colli amser yn Asia, gan ei fod yn brysio er mwyn bod yn Jerwsalem, pe bai modd, erbyn dydd y Pentecost.
17And from Miletus, having sent to Ephesus, he called for the elders of the assembly,
17 Anfonodd o Miletus i Effesus a galw ato henuriaid yr eglwys.
18and when they were come unto him, he said to them, `Ye — ye know from the first day in which I came to Asia, how, with you at all times I was;
18 Pan gyraeddasant ato, dywedodd wrthynt, "Fe wyddoch fel y bm i gyda chwi yr holl amser, er y diwrnod cyntaf y rhois fy nhroed yn Asia,
19serving the Lord with all humility, and many tears, and temptations, that befell me in the counsels of the Jews against [me];
19 yn gwasanaethu'r Arglwydd phob gostyngeiddrwydd, ac dagrau a threialon a ddaeth i'm rhan trwy gynllwynion yr Iddewon.
20how nothing I did keep back of what things are profitable, not to declare to you, and to teach you publicly, and in every house,
20 Gwyddoch nad ymateliais rhag cyhoeddi i chwi ddim o'r hyn sydd fuddiol, na rhag eich dysgu chwi yn gyhoeddus ac yn eich cartrefi,
21testifying fully both to Jews and Greeks, toward God reformation, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
21 gan dystiolaethu i Iddewon a Groegiaid am edifeirwch tuag at Dduw a ffydd yn ein Harglwydd Iesu.
22`And now, lo, I — bound in the Spirit — go on to Jerusalem, the things that shall befall me in it not knowing,
22 Ac yn awr dyma fi, dan orfodaeth yr Ysbryd, ar fy ffordd i Jerwsalem, heb wybod beth a ddigwydd imi yno,
23save that the Holy Spirit in every city doth testify fully, saying, that for me bonds and tribulations remain;
23 ond bod yr Ysbryd Gln o dref i dref yn tystiolaethu imi fod rhwymau a gorthrymderau yn fy aros.
24but I make account of none of these, neither do I count my life precious to myself, so that I finish my course with joy, and the ministration that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify fully the good news of the grace of God.
24 Ond yr wyf yn cyfrif nad yw fy mywyd o unrhyw werth imi, dim ond imi allu cwblhau fy ngyrfa, a'r weinidogaeth a gefais gan yr Arglwydd Iesu, i dystiolaethu i Efengyl gras Duw.
25`And now, lo, I have known that no more shall ye see my face, — ye all among whom I did go preaching the reign of God;
25 "Ac yn awr, 'rwy'n gwybod na chewch weld fy wyneb mwyach, chwi oll y bm i'n teithio yn eich plith gan gyhoeddi'r Deyrnas.
26wherefore I take you to witness this day, that I [am] clear from the blood of all,
26 Gan hynny, yr wyf yn tystio i chwi y dydd hwn fy mod yn ddieuog o waed unrhyw un;
27for I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God.
27 oblegid nid ymateliais rhag cyhoeddi holl arfaeth Duw i chwi.
28`Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God that He acquired through His own blood,
28 Gofalwch amdanoch eich hunain ac am yr holl braidd, y gosododd yr Ysbryd Gln chwi yn arolygwyr drosto, i fugeilio eglwys Dduw, yr hon a enillodd ef gwaed ei briod un.
29for I have known this, that there shall enter in, after my departing, grievous wolves unto you, not sparing the flock,
29 Mi wn i y daw i'ch plith, wedi fy ymadawiad i, fleiddiaid mileinig nad arbedant y praidd,
30and of your own selves there shall arise men, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.
30 ac y cyfyd o'ch plith chwi eich hunain rai yn llefaru pethau llygredig, i ddenu'r disgyblion ymaith ar eu hl.
31`Therefore, watch, remembering that three years, night and day, I did not cease with tears warning each one;
31 Gan hynny, byddwch yn wyliadwrus, gan gofio na pheidiais i, na nos na dydd dros dair blynedd, rhybuddio pob un ohonoch dagrau.
32and now, I commend you, brethren, to God, and to the word of His grace, that is able to build up, and to give you an inheritance among all those sanctified.
32 Ac yn awr yr wyf yn eich cyflwyno i Dduw ac i air ei ras, sydd 'r gallu ganddo i'ch adeiladu, ac i roi i chwi eich etifeddiaeth ymhlith yr holl rai a sancteiddiwyd.
33`The silver or gold or garments of no one did I covet;
33 Ni chwenychais arian nac aur na gwisgoedd neb.
34and ye yourselves know that to my necessities, and to those who were with me, minister did these hands;
34 Fe wyddoch eich hunain mai'r dwylo hyn a fu'n gweini i'm hanghenion i ac eiddo'r rhai oedd gyda mi.
35all things I did shew you, that, thus labouring, it behoveth [us] to partake with the ailing, to be mindful also of the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.`
35 Ym mhopeth, dangosais i chwi mai wrth lafurio felly y mae'n rhaid cynorthwyo'r rhai gwan, a dwyn ar gof y geiriau a lefarodd yr Arglwydd Iesu ei hun: 'Dedwyddach yw rhoi na derbyn.'"
36And these things having said, having bowed his knees, with them all, he did pray,
36 Wedi dweud hyn, fe benliniodd gyda hwy oll a gweddo.
37and there came a great weeping to all, and having fallen upon the neck of Paul, they were kissing him,
37 Torrodd pawb i wylo'n hidl, a syrthio ar wddf Paul a'i gusanu,
38sorrowing most of all for the word that he had said — that they are about no more to see his face; and they were accompanying him to the ship.
38 gan ofidio yn bennaf am iddo ddweud nad oeddent mwyach i weld ei wyneb. Yna aethant i'w hebrwng ef i'r llong.
