22

1And the feast of the unleavened food was coming nigh, that is called Passover,
1 Yr oedd gu373?yl y Bara Croyw, y Pasg fel y'i gelwir, yn agosu.
2and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take him up, for they were afraid of the people.
2 Yr oedd y prif offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion yn ceisio modd i'w ladd, oherwydd yr oedd arnynt ofn y bobl.
3And the Adversary entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve,
3 Ac aeth Satan i mewn i Jwdas, a elwid Iscariot, hwnnw oedd yn un o'r Deuddeg.
4and he, having gone away, spake with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver him up to them,
4 Aeth ef a thrafod gyda'r prif offeiriaid a swyddogion gwarchodlu'r deml sut i fradychu Iesu iddynt.
5and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,
5 Cytunasant yn llawen iawn i dalu arian iddo.
6and he agreed, and was seeking a favourable season to deliver him up to them without tumult.
6 Cydsyniodd yntau, a dechreuodd geisio cyfle i'w fradychu ef iddynt heb i'r dyrfa wybod.
7And the day of the unleavened food came, in which it was behoving the passover to be sacrificed,
7 Daeth dydd gu373?yl y Bara Croyw, pryd yr oedd yn rhaid lladd oen y Pasg.
8and he sent Peter and John, saying, `Having gone on, prepare to us the passover, that we may eat;`
8 Anfonodd ef Pedr ac Ioan gan ddweud, "Ewch a pharatowch inni gael bwyta gwledd y Pasg."
9and they said to him, `Where wilt thou that we might prepare?`
9 Meddent hwy wrtho, "Ble yr wyt ti am inni ei pharatoi?"
10And he said to them, `Lo, in your entering into the city, there shall meet you a man, bearing a pitcher of water, follow him to the house where he doth go in,
10 Atebodd hwy, "Wedi i chwi fynd i mewn i'r ddinas fe ddaw dyn i'ch cyfarfod, yn cario stenaid o ddu373?r. Dilynwch ef i'r tu375? yr i mewn iddo,
11and ye shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith to thee, Where is the guest-chamber where the passover with my disciples I may eat?
11 a dywedwch wrth u373?r y tu375?, 'Y mae'r Athro yn gofyn i ti, "Ble mae f'ystafell, lle yr wyf i fwyta gwledd y Pasg gyda'm disgyblion?"'
12and he shall show you a large upper room furnished, there make ready;`
12 Ac fe ddengys ef i chwi oruwchystafell fawr wedi ei threfnu; yno paratowch."
13and they, having gone away, found as he hath said to them, and they made ready the passover.
13 Aethant ymaith, a chael fel yr oedd ef wedi dweud wrthynt, a pharatoesant wledd y Pasg.
14And when the hour come, he reclined (at meat), and the twelve apostles with him,
14 Pan ddaeth yr awr, cymerodd ei le wrth y bwrdd, a'r apostolion gydag ef.
15and he said unto them, `With desire I did desire to eat this passover with you before my suffering,
15 Meddai wrthynt, "Mor daer y bm yn dyheu am gael bwyta gwledd y Pasg hwn gyda chwi cyn imi ddioddef!
16for I say to you, that no more may I eat of it till it may be fulfilled in the reign of God.`
16 Oherwydd rwy'n dweud wrthych na fwytf hi byth hyd nes y cyflawnir hi yn nheyrnas Dduw."
17And having taken a cup, having given thanks, he said, `Take this and divide to yourselves,
17 Derbyniodd gwpan, ac wedi diolch meddai, "Cymerwch hwn a rhannwch ef ymhlith eich gilydd.
18for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine till the reign of God may come.`
18 Oherwydd rwy'n dweud wrthych nad yfaf o hyn allan o ffrwyth y winwydden hyd nes y daw teyrnas Dduw."
19And having taken bread, having given thanks, he brake and gave to them, saying, `This is my body, that for you is being given, this do ye — to remembrance of me.`
19 Cymerodd fara, ac wedi diolch fe'i torrodd a'i roi iddynt gan ddweud, "Hwn yw fy nghorff, sy'n cael ei roi er eich mwyn chwi; gwnewch hyn er cof amdanaf."
20In like manner, also, the cup after the supping, saying, `This cup [is] the new covenant in my blood, that for you is being poured forth.
20 Yr un modd hefyd fe gymerodd y cwpan ar l swper gan ddweud, "Y cwpan hwn yw'r cyfamod newydd yn fy ngwaed i, sy'n cael ei dywallt er eich mwyn chwi.
21`But, lo, the hand of him delivering me up [is] with me on the table,
21 Ond dyma law fy mradychwr gyda'm llaw i ar y bwrdd.
22and indeed the Son of Man doth go according to what hath been determined; but wo to that man through whom he is being delivered up.`
22 Oherwydd y mae Mab y Dyn yn wir yn mynd ymaith, yn l yr hyn sydd wedi ei bennu, ond gwae'r dyn hwnnw y bradychir ef ganddo!"
23And they began to reason among themselves, who then of them it may be, who is about to do this thing.
23 A dechreusant ofyn ymhlith ei gilydd prun ohonynt oedd yr un oedd am wneud hynny.
24And there happened also a strife among them — who of them is accounted to be greater.
24 Cododd cweryl hefyd yn eu plith: prun ohonynt oedd i'w gyfrif y mwyaf?
25And he said to them, `The kings of the nations do exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority upon them are called benefactors;
25 Meddai ef wrthynt, "Y mae brenhinoedd y Cenhedloedd yn arglwyddiaethu arnynt, a'r rhai sydd ag awdurdod drostynt yn cael eu galw yn gymwynaswyr.
26but ye [are] not so, but he who is greater among you — let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;
26 Ond peidiwch chwi gwneud felly. Yn hytrach, bydded y mwyaf yn eich plith fel yr ieuengaf, a'r arweinydd fel un sy'n gweini.
27for who is greater? he who is reclining (at meat), or he who is ministering? is it not he who is reclining (at meat)? and I — I am in your midst as he who is ministering.
27 Pwy sydd fwyaf, yr un sy'n eistedd wrth y bwrdd neu'r un sy'n gweini? Onid yr un sy'n eistedd? Ond yr wyf fi yn eich plith fel un sy'n gweini.
28`And ye — ye are those who have remained with me in my temptations,
28 Chwi yw'r rhai sydd wedi dal gyda mi trwy gydol fy nhreialon.
29and I appoint to you, as my Father did appoint to me, a kingdom,
29 Ac fel y cyflwynodd fy Nhad deyrnas i mi, yr wyf finnau yn cyflwyno un i chwi;
30that ye may eat and may drink at my table, in my kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.`
30 cewch fwyta ac yfed wrth fy mwrdd i yn fy nheyrnas i, ac eistedd ar orseddau gan farnu deuddeg llwyth Israel.
31And the Lord said, `Simon, Simon, lo, the Adversary did ask you for himself to sift as the wheat,
31 "Simon, Simon, dyma Satan wedi eich hawlio chwi, i'ch gogrwn fel u375?d;
32and I besought for thee, that thy faith may not fail; and thou, when thou didst turn, strengthen thy brethren.`
32 ond yr wyf fi wedi deisyf drosot ti na fydd dy ffydd yn pallu. A thithau, pan fyddi wedi dychwelyd ataf, cadarnha dy frodyr."
33And he said to him, `Sir, with thee I am ready both to prison and to death to go;`
33 Meddai ef wrtho, "Arglwydd, gyda thi rwy'n barod i fynd i garchar ac i farwolaeth."
34and he said, `I say to thee, Peter, a cock shall not crow to-day, before thrice thou mayest disown knowing me.`
34 "Rwy'n dweud wrthyt, Pedr," atebodd ef, "ni chn y ceiliog heddiw cyn y byddi wedi gwadu deirgwaith dy fod yn fy adnabod i."
35And he said to them, `When I sent you without bag, and scrip, and sandals, did ye lack anything?` and they said, `Nothing.`
35 Dywedodd wrthynt, "Pan anfonais chwi allan heb bwrs na chod na sandalau, a fuoch yn brin o ddim?" "Naddo," atebasant.
36Then said he to them, `But, now, he who is having a bag, let him take [it] up, and in like manner also a scrip; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,
36 Meddai yntau, "Ond yn awr, os oes gennych bwrs, ewch ag ef gyda chwi, a'ch cod yr un modd; ac os nad oes gennych gleddyf, gwerthwch eich mantell a phrynu un.
37for I say to you, that yet this that hath been written it behoveth to be fulfilled in me: And with lawless ones he was reckoned, for also the things concerning me have an end.`
37 Rwy'n dweud wrthych fod yn rhaid cyflawni ynof fi yr Ysgrythur sy'n dweud: 'A chyfrifwyd ef gyda throseddwyr.' Oherwydd y mae'r hyn a ragddywedwyd amdanaf fi yn dod i ben."
38And they said, `Sir, lo, here [are] two swords;` and he said to them, `It is sufficient.`
38 "Arglwydd," atebasant hwy, "dyma ddau gleddyf." Meddai yntau wrthynt, "Dyna ddigon."
39And having gone forth, he went on, according to custom, to the mount of the Olives, and his disciples also followed him,
39 Yna aeth allan, a cherdded yn l ei arfer i Fynydd yr Olewydd, a'i ddisgyblion hefyd yn ei ddilyn.
40and having come to the place, he said to them, `Pray ye not to enter into temptation.`
40 Pan gyrhaeddodd y fan, meddai wrthynt, "Gweddwch na ddewch i gael eich profi."
41And he was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone`s cast, and having fallen on the knees he was praying,
41 Yna ymneilltuodd Iesu oddi wrthynt tuag ergyd carreg, a chan benlinio dechreuodd weddo
42saying, `Father, if Thou be counselling to make this cup pass from me —; but, not my will, but Thine be done.` —
42 gan ddweud, "O Dad, os wyt ti'n fodlon, cymer y cwpan hwn oddi wrthyf. Ond gwneler dy ewyllys di, nid fy ewyllys i."
43And there appeared to him a messenger from heaven strengthening him;
43 Ac ymddangosodd angel o'r nef iddo, a'i gyfnerthu.
44and having been in agony, he was more earnestly praying, and his sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling upon the ground.
44 Gan gymaint ei ing, yr oedd yn gweddo'n ddwysach, ac yr oedd ei chwys fel dafnau o waed yn diferu ar y ddaear.
45And having risen up from the prayer, having come unto the disciples, he found them sleeping from the sorrow,
45 Cododd o'i weddi a mynd at ei ddisgyblion a'u cael yn cysgu o achos eu gofid.
46and he said to them, `Why do ye sleep? having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation.`
46 Meddai wrthynt, "Pam yr ydych yn cysgu? Codwch, a gweddwch na ddewch i gael eich profi."
47And while he is speaking, lo, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the twelve, was coming before them, and he came nigh to Jesus to kiss him,
47 Tra oedd yn dal i siarad, fe ymddangosodd tyrfa, a Jwdas, fel y'i gelwid, un o'r Deuddeg, ar ei blaen. Nesaodd ef at Iesu i'w gusanu.
48and Jesus said to him, `Judas, with a kiss the Son of Man dost thou deliver up?`
48 Meddai Iesu wrtho, "Jwdas, ai chusan yr wyt yn bradychu Mab y Dyn?"
49And those about him, having seen what was about to be, said to him, `Sir, shall we smite with a sword?`
49 Pan welodd ei ddilynwyr beth oedd ar ddigwydd, meddent, "Arglwydd, a gawn ni daro 'n cleddyfau?"
50And a certain one of them smote the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,
50 Trawodd un ohonynt was yr archoffeiriad a thorri ei glust dde i ffwrdd.
51and Jesus answering said, `Suffer ye thus far,` and having touched his ear, he healed him.
51 Atebodd Iesu, "Peidiwch! Dyna ddigon!" Cyffyrddodd 'r glust a'i hadfer.
52And Jesus said to those having come upon him — chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders — `As upon a robber have ye come forth, with swords and sticks?
52 Yna meddai Iesu wrth y rhai oedd wedi dod yn ei erbyn, y prif offeiriaid a swyddogion gwarchodlu'r deml a'r henuriaid, "Ai fel at leidr, chleddyfau a phastynau, y daethoch allan?
53while daily I was with you in the temple, ye did stretch forth no hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.`
53 Er fy mod gyda chwi beunydd yn y deml, ni wnaethoch ddim i'm dal. Ond eich awr chwi yw hon, a'r tywyllwch biau'r awdurdod."
54And having taken him, they led and brought him to the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following afar off,
54 Daliasant ef, a mynd ag ef ymaith i mewn i du375?'r archoffeiriad. Yr oedd Pedr yn canlyn o hirbell.
55and they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,
55 Cyneuodd rhai dn yng nghanol y cyntedd, ac eistedd gyda'i gilydd. Eisteddodd Pedr yn eu plith.
56and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, `And this one was with him!`
56 Gwelodd morwyn ef yn eistedd wrth y tn, ac wedi syllu arno meddai, "Yr oedd hwn hefyd gydag ef."
57and he disowned him, saying, `Woman, I have not known him.`
57 Ond gwadodd ef a dweud, "Nid wyf fi'n ei adnabod, ferch."
58And after a little, another having seen him, said, `And thou art of them!` and Peter said, `Man, I am not.`
58 Yn fuan wedi hynny gwelodd un arall ef, ac meddai, "Yr wyt tithau yn un ohonynt." Ond meddai Pedr, "Nac ydwyf, ddyn."
59And one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, `Of a truth this one also was with him, for he is also a Galilean;`
59 Ymhen rhyw awr, dechreuodd un arall daeru, "Yn wir yr oedd hwn hefyd gydag ef, oherwydd Galilead ydyw."
60and Peter said, `Man, I have not known what thou sayest;` and presently, while he is speaking, a cock crew.
60 Meddai Pedr, "Ddyn, nid wyf yn gwybod am beth yr wyt ti'n sn." Ac ar unwaith, tra oedd yn dal i siarad, canodd y ceiliog.
61And the Lord having turned did look on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him — `Before a cock shall crow, thou mayest disown me thrice;`
61 Troes yr Arglwydd ac edrych ar Pedr, a chofiodd ef air yr Arglwydd wrtho, "Cyn i'r ceiliog ganu heddiw, fe'm gwedi i deirgwaith."
62and Peter having gone without, wept bitterly.
62 Aeth allan ac wylo'n chwerw.
63And the men who were holding Jesus were mocking him, beating [him];
63 Yr oedd gwarcheidwaid Iesu yn ei watwar a'i guro.
64and having blindfolded him, they were striking him on the face, and were questioning him, saying, `Prophesy who he is who smote thee?`
64 Rhoesant orchudd amdano, a dechrau ei holi gan ddweud, "Proffwyda! Pwy a'th drawodd?"
65and many other things, speaking evilly, they spake in regard to him.
65 A dywedasant lawer o bethau cableddus eraill wrtho.
66And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led him up to their own sanhedrim,
66 Pan ddaeth yn ddydd, cyfarfu Cyngor henuriaid y bobl, y prif offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion. Daethant ag ef gerbron eu brawdlys
67saying, `If thou be the Christ, tell us.` And he said to them, `If I may tell you, ye will not believe;
67 gan ddweud, "Os ti yw'r Meseia, dywed hynny wrthym." Meddai yntau wrthynt, "Os dywedaf hynny wrthych, fe wrthodwch gredu;
68and if I also question [you], ye will not answer me or send me away;
68 ac os holaf chwi, fe wrthodwch ateb.
69henceforth, there shall be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.`
69 O hyn allan bydd Mab y Dyn yn eistedd ar ddeheulaw Gallu Duw."
70And they all said, `Thou, then, art the Son of God?` and he said unto them, `Ye say [it], because I am;`
70 Meddent oll, "Ti felly yw Mab Duw?" Atebodd hwy, "Chwi sy'n dweud mai myfi yw."
71and they said, `What need yet have we of testimony? for we ourselves did hear [it] from his mouth.`
71 Yna meddent, "Pa raid inni wrth dystiolaeth bellach? Oherwydd clywsom ein hunain y geiriau o'i enau ef."
