1To the Overseer, `On the Death of Labben.` — A Psalm of David. I confess, O Jehovah, with all my heart, I recount all Thy wonders,
1मी अगदी मनापासून परमेश्वराची स्तुती करतो. परमेश्वरा, तू ज्या अद्भुत गोष्टी केल्या आहेस त्याबद्दल मी सांगेन.
2I rejoice and exult in Thee, I praise Thy Name, O Most High.
2तू मला खूप सुखी करतोस. सर्वशक्तिमान देवा, मी तुझ्या नामाचा महिमा गातो.
3In mine enemies turning backward, they stumble and perish from Thy face.
3माझे शत्रू तुझ्यापासून दूर जाण्यासाठी पळाले. परंतु ते पडले आणि त्यांचा नाश झाला.
4For Thou hast done my judgment and my right. Thou hast sat on a throne, A judge of righteousness.
4तू सगळ्यात न्यायी आहेस तू तुझ्या सिंहासनावर न्यायाधीश म्हणून बसलास. परमेश्वरा, तू माझे गाऱ्हाणे ऐकलेस आणि तू माझा न्यायनिवाडा केलास.
5Thou hast rebuked nations, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Their name Thou hast blotted out to the age and for ever.
5तू दुसऱ्या लोकांवर टीका केलीस. परमेश्वरा, तू त्यांचा नाश केलास. तू त्यांची नावे जिवंत माणसांच्या यादीतून कायमची पुसून टाकलीस.
6O thou Enemy, Finished have been destructions for ever, As to cities thou hast plucked up, Perished hath their memorial with them.
6शत्रूचा निपात झाला परमेश्वरा, तू त्यांच्या शहरांचा नाश केलास. आता केवळ पडकी घरे उभी आहेत त्या दुष्ट लोकांच्या आठवणी खातर आता काहीही शिल्लक उरले नाही.
7And Jehovah to the age abideth, He is preparing for judgment His throne.
7परंतु परमेश्वर अनंत काळ राज्य करतो. त्याने त्याचे राज्य सामर्थ्यवान बनवले आहे, हे त्याने जगात न्यायव्यवस्था यावी म्हणून केले.
8And He judgeth the world in righteousness, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.
8परमेश्वर पृथ्वीवरील सर्वांनाच न्यायाने वागवतो आणि सर्व देशांनाही तो एकाच मापाने तोलतो.
9And Jehovah is a tower for the bruised, A tower for times of adversity.
9खूप लोक सापळ्यात अडकले आणि दुखी झाले कारण त्यांच्या पुढे असंख्य संकटे होती. संकटांच्या ओझ्याखाली ते लोक चेंगरले गेले आहेत. परमेश्वरा, त्यांना आश्रयदेणारी एक चांगली जागा तू बन.
10They trust in Thee who do know Thy name, For Thou hast not forsaken Those seeking Thee, O Jehovah.
10ज्या लोकांना तुझे नाव माहीत आहे ते तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतात. परमेश्वरा, जर लोक तुझ्याकडे आले, तर त्यांना मदत केल्याशिवाय परत पाठवू नकोस.
11Sing ye praise to Jehovah, inhabiting Zion, Declare ye among the peoples His acts,
11सीयोनमध्ये राहाणाऱ्या लोकांनो, तुम्ही परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वराने ज्या महान गोष्टी केल्या त्याबद्दल इतर देशांना सांगा.
12For He who is seeking for blood Them hath remembered, He hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
12जे परमेश्वराकडे मदतीसाठी गेले त्यांची आठवण त्याने ठेवली त्या गरीब लोकांना मदतीची याचना केली आणि परमेश्वर त्यांना विसरला नाही.
13Favour me, O Jehovah, See mine affliction by those hating me, Thou who liftest me up from the gates of death,
13मी देवापाशी ही प्रार्थना केली “परमेश्वरा माझ्यावर दया कर, बघ माझे शत्रू मला त्रास देत आहेत. माझे ‘मृत्यूच्या दारा’ पासून रक्षण कर.
14So that I recount all Thy praise, In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I rejoice on Thy salvation.
14नंतर यरुशलेमच्या द्वारात परमेश्वरा, मी तुझी स्तुती गाईन. तू माझे रक्षण केलेस म्हणून मी खूप आनंदात असेन.”
15Sunk have nations in a pit they made, In a net that they hid hath their foot been captured.
15ती इतर राष्ट्रे दुसऱ्या लोकांना सापळ्यात पकडण्यासाठी खड्डे खणतात. परंतु ते स्वतच त्या खड्यांत पडले. दुसऱ्यांना पकडण्यासाठी त्यांनी जाळे लावले. परंतु ते स्वतच त्या जाळ्यात अडकले.
16Jehovah hath been known, Judgment He hath done, By a work of his hands Hath the wicked been snared. Meditation. Selah.
16परमेश्वराने त्या वाईट लोकांना पकडले. परमेश्वर वाईट कृत्ये करणाऱ्यांना शिक्षा करतो हे ते शिकले हिग्गायोन.
17The wicked do turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God.
17जे लोक देवाला विसरतात ते वाईट असतात. ते लोक मृत्युलोकात जातील.
18For not for ever is the needy forgotten, The hope of the humble lost to the age.
18कधी कधी देव संकटात असलेल्यांना विसरतो असे वाटते. त्या गरीबांना काही आशा नाही असेही वाटते. परंतु देवत्यांना कायमचा कधीच विसरत नाही.
19Rise, O Jehovah, let not man be strong, Let nations be judged before Thy face.
19परमेश्वरा, ऊठ आणि राष्ट्रांचा न्याय कर. आपण सामर्थ्यवान आहोत असा विचार लोकांना करु देऊ नकोस.
20Appoint, O Jehovah, a director to them, Let nations know they [are] men! Selah.
20लोकांना धडा शिकव. आपण केवळ माणसे आहोत हे त्यांना कळू दे.
