¹For the Chief Musician. A Psalm. A song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed.

²O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.

³Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.

³Krimajxoj min premas; Niajn pekojn Vi pardonos.

⁴Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.

⁴Felicxa estas tiu, kiun Vi elektas kaj alproksimigas al Vi, Ke li logxu en Viaj kortoj. Ni satigxu per la bonajxoj de Via domo, De Via sankta templo.

⁵By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:

⁵Per timindajxoj Vi respondas al ni en justeco, Ho Dio de nia savo, Espero de cxiuj finoj de la tero kaj de malproksimaj maroj,

⁶Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;

⁷Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.

⁸They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

⁸Kaj ektimos pro Viaj mirakloj la logxantoj de la limoj; La lokojn de la sunlevigxo kaj sunsubiro Vi gxojigas.

⁹Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.

⁹Vi memoras pri la tero, Kaj Vi donas al gxi akvon, kaj Vi forte gxin ricxigas; La torento de Dio estas plena de akvo; Vi pretigas gxian panon, cxar tiel Vi gxin arangxis.

¹⁰Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.

¹⁰Vi donas trinkon al gxiaj sulkoj, Vi ebenigas gxiajn bulojn; Per pluvego Vi gxin moligas, Vi benas gxiajn kreskajxojn.

¹¹Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.

¹¹Vi kronas la jaron per Via bono; Kaj la signoj de Viaj piedoj gutas per graso.

¹²They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.

¹²La stepoj de dezerto grasigxas, Kaj la montetoj zonigxas per gxojo.

¹³The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

¹³La herbejoj kovrigxas per brutaroj, Kaj la kampoj vestigxas per greno; Ili gxojas kaj kantas.
