1Halleluuja! Kiida, mu hing, Issandat!
2While I live will I praise Jehovah: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
2Ma tahan Issandat kiita oma eluaja! Ma tahan oma Jumalale mängida, niikaua kui mind on!
3Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
3Ärge lootke vürstide peale, inimlaste peale, kelle käes ei ole abi!
4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; In that very day his thoughts perish.
4Kui tema vaim välja läheb, siis ta pöördub tagasi oma mulda; selsamal päeval kaovad tema kavatsused.
5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God:
5Õnnis on see, kelle abi on Jaakobi Jumal, kelle lootus on Issanda peale, oma Jumala peale,
6Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that in them is; Who keepeth truth for ever;
6kes on teinud taeva ja maa, mere ja kõik, mis seal sees on, kes on ustav igavesti,
7Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;
7kes mõistab õiglast kohut neile, kellele liiga tehakse, kes annab leiba näljastele. Issand päästab lahti, kes on kinni seotud.
8Jehovah openeth [the eyes of] the blind; Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down; Jehovah loveth the righteous;
8Issand avab pimedate silmad; Issand seab püsti need, kes on küüru vajutatud. Issand armastab õigeid.
9Jehovah preserveth the sojourners; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
9Issand kaitseb võõraid, ta peab ülal vaeslapsi ja lesknaisi; kuid õelate teed ta saadab nurja.
10Jehovah will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Jehovah.
