¹And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ.

¹Pour moi, frères, ce n'est pas comme à des hommes spirituels que j'ai pu vous parler, mais comme à des hommes charnels, comme à des enfants en Christ.

¹ואני לא יכלתי לדבר עמכם אחי כעם רוחניים כי עודכם של הבשר וכמו עוללים במשיח׃

²I fed you with milk, not with meat; for ye were not yet able [to bear it]: nay, not even now are ye able;

²Je vous ai donné du lait, non de la nourriture solide, car vous ne pouviez pas la supporter; et vous ne le pouvez pas même à présent,

²חלב השקיתי אתכם ולא מאכל כי אז לא יכלתם וגם עתה לא תוכלו יען היתכם עוד של הבשר׃

³for ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk after the manner of men?

³parce que vous êtes encore charnels. En effet, puisqu'il y a parmi vous de la jalousie et des disputes, n'êtes-vous pas charnels, et ne marchez-vous pas selon l'homme?

³כי באשר קנאה ומריבה ומחלקים ביניכם הלא של הבשר אתם ומתהלכים לפי דרך בני אדם׃

⁴For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not men?

⁴Quand l'un dit: Moi, je suis de Paul! et un autre: Moi, d'Apollos! n'êtes-vous pas des hommes?

⁴הן באמר האחד אני לפולוס והשני אני לאפולוס הלא של הבשר אתם׃

⁵What then is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed; and each as the Lord gave to him.

⁵Qu'est-ce donc qu'Apollos, et qu'est-ce que Paul? Des serviteurs, par le moyen desquels vous avez cru, selon que le Seigneur l'a donné à chacun.

⁵מי אפוא פולוס ומי הוא אפולוס אך משרתים הם אשר על ידם באתם להאמין איש איש כמתנת האדון אשר נתן לו׃

⁶I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

⁶J'ai planté, Apollos a arrosé, mais Dieu a fait croître,

⁶אני נטעתי ואפולוס השקה אבל האלהים הוא הצמיח׃

⁷So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

⁷en sorte que ce n'est pas celui qui plante qui est quelque chose, ni celui qui arrose, mais Dieu qui fait croître.

⁷על כן הנטע איננו מאומה והמשקה איננו מאומה כי אם האלהים המצמיח׃

⁸Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

⁸Celui qui plante et celui qui arrose sont égaux, et chacun recevra sa propre récompense selon son propre travail.

⁸והנטע והמשקה כאחד המה ואיש איש יקבל את שכרו כפי עמלו׃

⁹For we are God's fellow-workers: ye are God's husbandry, God's building.

⁹Car nous sommes ouvriers avec Dieu. Vous êtes le champ de Dieu, l'édifice de Dieu.

⁹כי עזרי אל אנחנו ואתם שדה אלהים ובנין אלהים אתם׃

¹⁰According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.

¹⁰Selon la grâce de Dieu qui m'a été donnée, j'ai posé le fondement comme un sage architecte, et un autre bâtit dessus. Mais que chacun prenne garde à la manière dont il bâtit dessus.

¹⁰]11-01[ ואני כפי חסד אלהים הנתן לי כבני חכם שתי יסוד ואחר בונה עליו אך ירא כל איש לשית יסוד אחר חוץ מן המוסד שהוא ישוע המשיח׃

¹¹For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

¹¹Car personne ne peut poser un autre fondement que celui qui a été posé, savoir Jésus-Christ.

¹¹]11-01[׃

¹²But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;

¹²Or, si quelqu'un bâtit sur ce fondement avec de l'or, de l'argent, des pierres précieuses, du bois, du foin, du chaume,

¹²ואם יבנה הבונה על היסוד הזה זהב או כסף או אבנים יקרות או עץ או חציר או קש׃

¹³each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is.

¹³l'oeuvre de chacun sera manifestée; car le jour la fera connaître, parce qu'elle se révèlera dans le feu, et le feu éprouvera ce qu'est l'oeuvre de chacun.

¹³מעשה כל איש יגלה כי היום הוא יבררהו כי באש יראה ואת מה מעשה כל איש ואיש האש תבחננו׃

¹⁴If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward.

¹⁴Si l'oeuvre bâtie par quelqu'un sur le fondement subsiste, il recevra une récompense.

¹⁴אם יעמד מעשה איש אשר בנה עליו יקבל שכרו׃

¹⁵If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire.

¹⁵Si l'oeuvre de quelqu'un est consumée, il perdra sa récompense; pour lui, il sera sauvé, mais comme au travers du feu.

¹⁵ואם ישרף מעשהו יפסידנו והוא יושע אך כמו מצל מאש׃

¹⁶Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

¹⁶Ne savez-vous pas que vous êtes le temple de Dieu, et que l'Esprit de Dieu habite en vous?

¹⁶הלא ידעתם כי היכל אלהים אתם ורוח אלהים שכן בקרבכם׃

¹⁷If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.

¹⁷Si quelqu'un détruit le temple de Dieu, Dieu le détruira; car le temple de Dieu est saint, et c'est ce que vous êtes.

¹⁷ואיש אשר ישחית את היכל אלהים האלהים ישחית אתו כי היכל אלהים קדוש ואתם הנכם קדושים׃

¹⁸Let no man deceive himself. If any man thinketh that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

¹⁸Que nul ne s'abuse lui-même: si quelqu'un parmi vous pense être sage selon ce siècle, qu'il devienne fou, afin de devenir sage.

¹⁸אל ירמה איש את עצמו והחשב את עצמו חכם בעולם הזה יהי לסכל למען יחכם׃

¹⁹For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:

¹⁹Car la sagesse de ce monde est une folie devant Dieu. Aussi est-il écrit: Il prend les sages dans leur ruse.

¹⁹כי חכמת העולם הזה סכלות היא לפני האלהים ככתוב לכד חכמים בערמם׃

²⁰and again, The Lord knoweth the reasonings of the wise that they are vain.

²⁰Et encore: Le Seigneur connaît les pensées des sages, Il sait qu'elles sont vaines.

²⁰ועוד כתוב יהוה ידע מחשבות חכמים כי המה הבל׃

²¹Wherefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours;

²¹Que personne donc ne mette sa gloire dans des hommes; car tout est à vous,

²¹על כן אל יתהלל איש באדם כי הכל הוא שלכם׃

²²whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

²²soit Paul, soit Apollos, soit Céphas, soit le monde, soit la vie, soit la mort, soit les choses présentes, soit les choses à venir. Tout est à vous;

²²אם פולוס אם אפולוס ואם כיפא אם העולם אם החיים ואם המות אם ההוה ואם העתיד הכל הוא שלכם׃

²³and ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

²³et vous êtes à Christ, et Christ est à Dieu.

²³ואתם הנכם של המשיח והמשיח הוא של אלהים׃
