¹And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

¹Lorsque le sabbat fut passé, Marie de Magdala, Marie, mère de Jacques, et Salomé, achetèrent des aromates, afin d'aller embaumer Jésus.

¹ויהי כאשר עבר יום השבת ותקנינה מרים המגגדלית ומרים אם יעקב ושלמית סמים לבוא ולסוך אתו בהם׃

²And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.

²Le premier jour de la semaine, elles se rendirent au sépulcre, de grand matin, comme le soleil venait de se lever.

²ובאחד בשבת בבקר השכם באו אל הקבר כזרוח השמש׃

³And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?

³Elles disaient entre elles: Qui nous roulera la pierre loin de l'entrée du sépulcre?

³ותאמרנה אשה אל אחותה מי יגל לנו את האבן מעל פתח הקבר׃

⁴and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.

⁴Et, levant les yeux, elles aperçurent que la pierre, qui était très grande, avait été roulée.

⁴ובהביטן ראו והנה נגללה האבן כי היתה גדלה מאד׃

⁵And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.

⁵Elles entrèrent dans le sépulcre, virent un jeune homme assis à droite vêtu d'une robe blanche, et elles furent épouvantées.

⁵ותבאנה אל תוך הקבר ותראינה בחור אחד ישב מימין והוא עטה שמלה לבנה ותשתוממנה׃

⁶And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!

⁶Il leur dit: Ne vous épouvantez pas; vous cherchez Jésus de Nazareth, qui a été crucifié; il est ressuscité, il n'est point ici; voici le lieu où on l'avait mis.

⁶ויאמר אליהן אל תשתוממנה את ישוע הנצרי אתן מבקשות את הנצלב הוא קם איננו פה הנה זה המקום אשר השכיבהו בו׃

⁷But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

⁷Mais allez dire à ses disciples et à Pierre qu'il vous précède en Galilée: c'est là que vous le verrez, comme il vous l'a dit.

⁷אך לכנה ואמרתן אל תלמידיו ואל פטרוס כי הולך הוא לפניכם הגלילה ושם תראהו כאשר אמר לכם׃

⁸And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.

⁸Elles sortirent du sépulcre et s'enfuirent. La peur et le trouble les avaient saisies; et elles ne dirent rien à personne, à cause de leur effroi.

⁸ותמהרנה לצאת ותברחנה מן הקבר כי אחזתן רעדה ותמהון ולא הגידו דבר לאיש כי יראו׃

⁹Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

⁹Jésus, étant ressuscité le matin du premier jour de la semaine, apparut d'abord à Marie de Magdala, de laquelle il avait chassé sept démons.

⁹והוא כאשר קם מן המתים באחד בשבת נראה בראשונה אל מרים המגדלית אשר גרש ממנה שבעה שדים׃

¹⁰She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

¹⁰Elle alla en porter la nouvelle à ceux qui avaient été avec lui, et qui s'affligeaient et pleuraient.

¹⁰ותלך ותגד לאנשים אשר היו עמו והם מתאבלים ובכים׃

¹¹And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.

¹¹Quand ils entendirent qu'il vivait, et qu'elle l'avait vu, ils ne le crurent point.

¹¹וכאשר שמעו כי חי ונראה אליה לא האמינו לה׃

¹²And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

¹²Après cela, il apparut, sous une autre forme, à deux d'entre eux qui étaient en chemin pour aller à la campagne.

¹²ואחרי כן נראה בדמות אחרת לשנים מהם בהיתם מתהלכים בצאתם השדה׃

¹³And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.

¹³Ils revinrent l'annoncer aux autres, qui ne les crurent pas non plus.

¹³והם הלכו ויגידו לאחרים וגם להם לא האמינו׃

¹⁴And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

¹⁴Enfin, il apparut aux onze, pendant qu'ils étaient à table; et il leur reprocha leur incrédulité et la dureté de leur coeur, parce qu'ils n'avaient pas cru ceux qui l'avaient vu ressuscité.

¹⁴ובאחרנה נראה לעשתי העשר בהיותם מסבים ויחרף חסרון אמונתם וקשי לבבם אשר לא האמינו לראים אתו נעור מן המתים׃

¹⁵And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

¹⁵Puis il leur dit: Allez par tout le monde, et prêchez la bonne nouvelle à toute la création.

¹⁵ויאמר אליהם לכו אל כל העולם וקראו את הבשורה לכל הבריאה׃

¹⁶He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

¹⁶Celui qui croira et qui sera baptisé sera sauvé, mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné.

¹⁶המאמין ונטבל הוא יושע ואשר לא יאמין יאשם׃

¹⁷And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

¹⁷Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru: en mon nom, ils chasseront les démons; ils parleront de nouvelles langues;

¹⁷ואלה האתות אשר ילוו אל המאמינים יגרשו שדים בשמי ובלשנות חדשות ידברו׃

¹⁸they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

¹⁸ils saisiront des serpents; s'ils boivent quelque breuvage mortel, il ne leur fera point de mal; ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades, seront guéris.

¹⁸נחשים ישאו בידיהם ואם ישתו סם המות לא יזיקם על חולים ישימו את ידיהם וייטב להם׃

¹⁹So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

¹⁹Le Seigneur, après leur avoir parlé, fut enlevé au ciel, et il s'assit à la droite de Dieu.

¹⁹ויהי אחרי אשר דבר אתם האדון וינשא השמימה וישב לימין האלהים׃

²⁰And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

²⁰Et ils s'en allèrent prêcher partout. Le Seigneur travaillait avec eux, et confirmait la parole par les miracles qui l'accompagnaient.

²⁰והמה יצאו ויקראו בכל המקמות והאדון עזרם ויחזק את הדבר באתות הבאות אחרי דברם אמן׃
