1Au chef des chantres. De David. Pour souvenir. O Dieu, hâte-toi de me délivrer! Eternel, hâte-toi de me secourir!
1למנצח לדוד להזכיר אלהים להצילני יהוה לעזרתי חושה׃
2Let them be put to shame and confounded That seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.
2Qu'ils soient honteux et confus, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie! Qu'ils reculent et rougissent, ceux qui désirent ma perte!
2יבשו ויחפרו מבקשי נפשי יסגו אחור ויכלמו חפצי רעתי׃
3Let them be turned back by reason of their shame That say, Aha, aha.
3Qu'ils retournent en arrière par l'effet de leur honte, Ceux qui disent: Ah! ah!
3ישובו על עקב בשתם האמרים האח האח׃
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
4Que tous ceux qui te cherchent Soient dans l'allégresse et se réjouissent en toi! Que ceux qui aiment ton salut Disent sans cesse: Exalté soit Dieu!
4ישישו וישמחו בך כל מבקשיך ויאמרו תמיד יגדל אלהים אהבי ישועתך׃
5But I am poor and needy; Make haste unto me, O God: Thou art my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, make no tarrying.
5Moi, je suis pauvre et indigent: O Dieu, hâte-toi en ma faveur! Tu es mon aide et mon libérateur: Eternel, ne tarde pas!
5ואני עני ואביון אלהים חושה לי עזרי ומפלטי אתה יהוה אל תאחר׃
