¹[A Psalm] of Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king's son.

¹De Salomon. O Dieu, donne tes jugements au roi, Et ta justice au fils du roi!

¹לשלמה אלהים משפטיך למלך תן וצדקתך לבן מלך׃

²He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.

²Il jugera ton peuple avec justice, Et tes malheureux avec équité.

²ידין עמך בצדק וענייך במשפט׃

³The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.

³Les montagnes porteront la paix pour le peuple, Et les collines aussi, par l'effet de ta justice.

³ישאו הרים שלום לעם וגבעות בצדקה׃

⁴He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.

⁴Il fera droit aux malheureux du peuple, Il sauvera les enfants du pauvre, Et il écrasera l'oppresseur.

⁴ישפט עניי עם יושיע לבני אביון וידכא עושק׃

⁵They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations.

⁵On te craindra, tant que subsistera le soleil, Tant que paraîtra la lune, de génération en génération.

⁵ייראוך עם שמש ולפני ירח דור דורים׃

⁶He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.

⁶Il sera comme une pluie qui tombe sur un terrain fauché, Comme des ondées qui arrosent la campagne.

⁶ירד כמטר על גז כרביבים זרזיף ארץ׃

⁷In his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.

⁷En ses jours le juste fleurira, Et la paix sera grande jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de lune.

⁷יפרח בימיו צדיק ורב שלום עד בלי ירח׃

⁸He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth.

⁸Il dominera d'une mer à l'autre, Et du fleuve aux extrémités de la terre.

⁸וירד מים עד ים ומנהר עד אפסי ארץ׃

⁹They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.

⁹Devant lui, les habitants du désert fléchiront le genou, Et ses ennemis lécheront la poussière.

⁹לפניו יכרעו ציים ואיביו עפר ילחכו׃

¹⁰The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

¹⁰Les rois de Tarsis et des îles paieront des tributs, Les rois de Séba et de Saba offriront des présents.

¹⁰מלכי תרשיש ואיים מנחה ישיבו מלכי שבא וסבא אשכר יקריבו׃

¹¹Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; All nations shall serve him.

¹¹Tous les rois se prosterneront devant lui, Toutes les nations le serviront.

¹¹וישתחוו לו כל מלכים כל גוים יעבדוהו׃

¹²For he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.

¹²Car il délivrera le pauvre qui crie, Et le malheureux qui n'a point d'aide.

¹²כי יציל אביון משוע ועני ואין עזר לו׃

¹³He will have pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he will save.

¹³Il aura pitié du misérable et de l'indigent, Et il sauvera la vie des pauvres;

¹³יחס על דל ואביון ונפשות אביונים יושיע׃

¹⁴He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; And precious will their blood be in his sight:

¹⁴Il les affranchira de l'oppression et de la violence, Et leur sang aura du prix à ses yeux.

¹⁴מתוך ומחמס יגאל נפשם וייקר דמם בעיניו׃

¹⁵And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: And men shall pray for him continually; They shall bless him all the day long.

¹⁵Ils vivront, et lui donneront de l'or de Séba; Ils prieront pour lui sans cesse, ils le béniront chaque jour.

¹⁵ויחי ויתן לו מזהב שבא ויתפלל בעדו תמיד כל היום יברכנהו׃

¹⁶There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

¹⁶Les blés abonderont dans le pays, au sommet des montagnes, Et leurs épis s'agiteront comme les arbres du Liban; Les hommes fleuriront dans les villes comme l'herbe de la terre.

¹⁶יהי פסת בר בארץ בראש הרים ירעש כלבנון פריו ויציצו מעיר כעשב הארץ׃

¹⁷His name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.

¹⁷Son nom subsistera toujours, Aussi longtemps que le soleil son nom se perpétuera; Par lui on se bénira mutuellement, Et toutes les nations le diront heureux.

¹⁷יהי שמו לעולם לפני שמש ינין שמו ויתברכו בו כל גוים יאשרוהו׃

¹⁸Blessed be Jehovah God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things:

¹⁸Béni soit l'Eternel Dieu, le Dieu d'Israël, qui seul fait des prodiges!

¹⁸ברוך יהוה אלהים אלהי ישראל עשה נפלאות לבדו׃

¹⁹And blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.

¹⁹Béni soit à jamais son nom glorieux! Que toute la terre soit remplie de sa gloire! Amen! Amen!

¹⁹וברוך שם כבודו לעולם וימלא כבודו את כל הארץ אמן ואמן׃
