¹Oh give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known among the peoples his doings.

¹Dėkokite Viešpačiui, šaukitės Jo vardo, skelbkite tautose Jo darbus.

²Sing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvelous works.

²Giedokite Jam, giedokite Jam psalmes. Garsinkite visus Jo stebuklus.

³Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

³Didžiuokitės Jo šventu vardu. Tegu džiaugiasi širdis tų, kurie ieško Viešpaties.

⁴Seek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.

⁴Ieškokite Viešpaties ir Jo jėgos. Nuolatos ieškokite Jo veido.

⁵Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

⁵Atsiminkite Jo nuostabius darbus, kuriuos Jis yra padaręs, Jo stebuklus ir Jo lūpų ištartus sprendimus.

⁶O ye seed of Abraham his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

⁶Jūs, Jo tarno Abraomo palikuonys, Jokūbo vaikai, Jo išrinktieji.

⁷He is Jehovah our God: His judgments are in all the earth.

⁷Jis yra Viešpats, mūsų Dievas; visoje žemėje galioja Jo sprendimai.

⁸He hath remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

⁸Jis per amžius atsimena savo sandorą, žodį, kurį Jis įsakė tūkstančiui kartų,

⁹[The covenant] which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac,

⁹sandorą, kurią Jis padarė su Abraomu, ir priesaiką, duotą Izaokui.

¹⁰And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

¹⁰Jis patvirtino ją Jokūbui įstatymu, Izraeliui­amžina sandora,

¹¹Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;

¹¹sakydamas: “Tau duosiu Kanaano šalį, tavo paveldėjimo dalį”,

¹²When they were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it.

¹²kai jie buvo negausūs skaičiumi, tik ateiviai joje.

¹³And they went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.

¹³Jie keliavo iš tautos į tautą, iš vienos karalystės į kitą.

¹⁴He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

¹⁴Jis niekam neleido jų skriausti, sudrausdavo dėl jų karalius:

¹⁵[Saying], Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.

¹⁵“Nelieskite mano pateptųjų ir mano pranašams nedarykite pikto”.

¹⁶And he called for a famine upon the land; He brake the whole staff of bread.

¹⁶Jis žemei badą pašaukė, duonos ramstį sunaikino.

¹⁷He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant:

¹⁷Jis pasiuntė pirma jų vyrą, Juozapą, vergijon parduotą.

¹⁸His feet they hurt with fetters: He was laid in [chains of] iron,

¹⁸Jie supančiojo jo kojas, sukaustė jį geležimi,

¹⁹Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of Jehovah tried him.

¹⁹kol įvyko Jo žodis; Viešpaties žodis išmėgino jį.

²⁰The king sent and loosed him; Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.

²⁰Karalius paleisti jį liepė, tautos valdovas išlaisvino jį.

²¹He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his substance;

²¹Savo namų viešpačiu jį paskyrė ir viso savo turto valdovu,

²²To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.

²²kad vadovautų šalies kunigaikščiams, išminties mokytų vyresniuosius.

²³Israel also came into Egypt; And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

²³Tuomet Izraelis Egiptan atvyko ir Jokūbas viešėjo Chamo krašte.

²⁴And he increased his people greatly, And made them stronger than their adversaries.

²⁴Čia Jis labai pagausino savo tautą ir padarė ją stipresnę už jų priešus.

²⁵He turned their heart to hate his people, To deal subtly with his servants.

²⁵Jis pažadino jų širdyse neapykantą savo tautai, ir jie ėmė su Jo tarnais elgtis klastingai.

²⁶He sent Moses his servant, [And] Aaron whom he had chosen.

²⁶Jis pasiuntė Mozę, savo tarną, ir Aaroną, kurį išsirinko.

²⁷They set among them his signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.

²⁷Jie Chamo krašte padarė nuostabių ženklų ir stebuklų.

²⁸He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they rebelled not against his words.

²⁸Jis siuntė tamsą ir aptemdė kraštą, ir jie nepasipriešino Jo žodžiui.

²⁹He turned their waters into blood, And slew their fish.

²⁹Jis pavertė jų vandenis krauju, jų žuvis išmarino.

³⁰Their land swarmed with frogs In the chambers of their kings.

³⁰Varlės jų žemę apniko, net karalių kambariuose jų buvo.

³¹He spake, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their borders.

³¹Jis tarė, ir visą jų kraštą užplūdo įvairios musės bei mašalai.

³²He gave them hail for rain, [And] flaming fire in their land.

³²Vietoje lietaus Jis siuntė krušą ir liepsnojančią ugnį visame krašte.

³³He smote their vines also and their fig-trees, And brake the trees of their borders.

³³Jis išmušė figmedžius ir vynmedžius, visame krašte medžius sunaikino.

³⁴He spake, and the locust came, And the grasshopper, and that without number,

³⁴Jam tarus, užplūdo begalės skėrių ir žiogų,

³⁵And did eat up every herb in their land, And did eat up the fruit of their ground.

³⁵kurie visus augalus jų krašte ir laukų derlių surijo.

³⁶He smote also all the first-born in their land, The chief of all their strength.

³⁶Jis pirmagimius visus krašte ištiko, jų pajėgumo pradžią.

³⁷And he brought them forth with silver and gold; And there was not one feeble person among his tribes.

³⁷Jis išvedė juos su sidabru ir auksu, jų giminėse nebuvo ligonių.

³⁸Egypt was glad when they departed; For the fear of them had fallen upon them.

³⁸Džiaugėsi egiptiečiai, jiems iškeliavus, nes labai išgąsdinti buvo.

³⁹He spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to give light in the night.

³⁹Jis dengė juos debesimi ir naktį apšvietė juos ugnimi.

⁴⁰They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

⁴⁰Jiems paprašius, Jis putpelių jiems atsiuntė, maitino juos dangaus duona.

⁴¹He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; They ran in the dry places [like] a river.

⁴¹Jis perskėlė uolą, ir ištryško vandenys, jie tekėjo kaip upė per sausą žemę.

⁴²For he remembered his holy word, [And] Abraham his servant.

⁴²Jis atsiminė savo šventą pažadą Abraomui, savo tarnui,

⁴³And he brought forth his people with joy, [And] his chosen with singing.

⁴³ir išvedė savo tautą su džiaugsmu, savo išrinktuosius su linksmybėmis.

⁴⁴And he gave them the lands of the nations; And they took the labor of the peoples in possession:

⁴⁴Pagonių žemes jiems išdalino, tautų turtai jiems atiteko,

⁴⁵That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise ye Jehovah.

⁴⁵kad Jo įsakymų laikytųsi, vykdytų Jo įstatymą. Girkite Viešpatį!
