1For the Chief Musician; set to Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves. My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
1Mano širdis prisipildė gražių žodžių. Giedosiu giesmę Karaliui. Mano liežuvisplunksna miklioje raštininko rankoje.
2Thou art fairer than the children of men; Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
2Tu esi gražiausias iš žmonių vaikų; malonė Tavo lūpose! Todėl palaimino Tave Dievas amžiams.
3Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.
3Karžygy, prisijuosk kalaviją prie šlaunies, savo šlovę ir didybę.
4And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
4Savo didybėje kelkis ginti tiesos, romumo ir teisumo. Tavo dešinė tepamoko Tave didingų darbų!
5Thine arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under thee; [They are] in the heart of the king's enemies.
5Karaliaus priešų širdis perveria Jo strėlės, nuo jų krinta tautos.
6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
6Tavo sostas, o Dieve, stovės per amžius. Teisumo skeptras yra Tavo karalystės skeptras.
7Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness: Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
7Tu pamėgai teisumą ir neapkentei nedorybės, todėl patepė Tave Dievas, Tavasis Dievas, džiaugsmo aliejumi daugiau negu Tavo bendrus.
8All thy garments [smell of] myrrh, and aloes, [and] cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.
8Mira, alaviju ir kasija kvepia Tavo drabužiai. Iš dramblio kaulo rūmų linksmina Tave.
9Kings' daughters are among thy honorable women: At thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
9Karalių dukterys pasitinka Tave; karalienė Tavo dešinėje Ofyro auksu papuošta.
10Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father's house:
10Klausyk, dukra, pažvelk ir išgirsk! Pamiršk savo tautą ir tėvo namus.
11So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.
11Karalius geidžia tavo grožio. Jis yra tavo Viešpatsgarbink Jį!
12And the daughter of Tyre [shall be there] with a gift; The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.
12Tyro dukros neša Tau dovanas, tautos kilmingieji Tavo palankumo ieško.
13The king's daughter within [the palace] is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.
13Karaliaus dukra šlovinga viduje, auksu išmegzti jos apdarai.
14She shall be led unto the king in broidered work: The virgins her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee.
14Išsiuvinėtais drabužiais papuoštą ją veda pas Karalių, ją seka mergaitės, jos draugės, kurios bus atvestos pas Tave.
15With gladness and rejoicing shall they be led: They shall enter into the king's palace.
15Jos eina džiūgaudamos ir besilinksmindamos, jos įeis į Karaliaus rūmus.
16Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.
16Vietoj Tavo tėvų bus Tavo sūnūs; visoje šalyje Tu paskirsi juos kunigaikščiais.
17I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: Therefore shall the peoples give thee thanks for ever and ever.
17Aš garsinsiu Tavo vardą per kartų kartas, todėl tautos girs Tave per amžius.
