1Doth not wisdom cry, And understanding put forth her voice?
1Не премудрость ли взывает? и не разум ли возвышает голос свой?
2On the top of high places by the way, Where the paths meet, she standeth;
2Она становится на возвышенных местах, при дороге, на распутиях;
3Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, At the coming in at the doors, she crieth aloud:
3она взывает у ворот при входе в город, при входе в двери:
4Unto you, O men, I call; And my voice is to the sons of men.
4„к вам, люди, взываю я, и к сынам человеческим голос мой!
5O ye simple, understand prudence; And, ye fools, be of an understanding heart.
5Научитесь, неразумные, благоразумию, и глупые - разуму.
6Hear, for I will speak excellent things; And the opening of my lips shall be right things.
6Слушайте, потому что я буду говорить важное, и изречение уст моих – правда;
7For my mouth shall utter truth; And wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
7ибо истину произнесет язык мой, и нечестие – мерзость для уст моих;
8All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.
8все слова уст моих справедливы; нет в них коварства и лукавства;
9They are all plain to him that understandeth, And right to them that find knowledge.
9все они ясны для разумного и справедливы для приобретших знание.
10Receive my instruction, and not silver; And knowledge rather than choice gold.
10Примите учение мое, а не серебро; лучше знание, нежели отборное золото;
11For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.
11потому что мудрость лучше жемчуга, и ничто из желаемого не сравнится с нею.
12I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledge [and] discretion.
12Я, премудрость, обитаю с разумом и ищу рассудительного знания.
13The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.
13Страх Господень – ненавидеть зло; гордость и высокомерие и злойпуть и коварные уста я ненавижу.
14Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might.
14У меня совет и правда; я разум, у меня сила.
15By me kings reign, And princes decree justice.
15Мною цари царствуют и повелители узаконяют правду;
16By me princes rule, And nobles, [even] all the judges of the earth.
16мною начальствуют начальники и вельможи и все судьи земли.
17I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.
17Любящих меня я люблю, и ищущие меня найдут меня;
18Riches and honor are with me; [Yea], durable wealth and righteousness.
18богатство и слава у меня, сокровище непогибающее и правда;
19My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; And my revenue than choice silver.
19плоды мои лучше золота, и золота самого чистого, и пользы от меня больше, нежели от отборного серебра.
20I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice;
20Я хожу по пути правды, по стезям правосудия,
21That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance, And that I may fill their treasuries.
21чтобы доставить любящим меня существенное благо, исокровищницы их я наполняю.
22Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old.
22Господь имел меня началом пути Своего, прежде созданий Своих, искони;
23I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was.
23от века я помазана, от начала, прежде бытия земли.
24When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.
24Я родилась, когда еще не существовали бездны, когда еще не было источников, обильных водою.
25Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth;
25Я родилась прежде, нежели водружены были горы, прежде холмов,
26While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world.
26когда еще Он не сотворил ни земли, ни полей, ни начальных пылинок вселенной.
27When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon the face of the deep,
27Когда Он уготовлял небеса, я была там. Когда Он проводил круговую черту по лицу бездны,
28When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong,
28когда утверждал вверху облака, когда укреплял источники бездны,
29When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth;
29когда давал морю устав, чтобы воды не переступали пределов его,когда полагал основания земли:
30Then I was by him, [as] a master workman; And I was daily [his] delight, Rejoicing always before him,
30тогда я была при Нем художницею, и была радостью всякий день, веселясь пред лицем Его во все время,
31Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.
31веселясь на земном кругу Его, и радость моя была с сынами человеческими.
32Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me; For blessed are they that keep my ways.
32Итак, дети, послушайте меня; и блаженны те, которые хранят пути мои!
33Hear instruction, and be wise, And refuse it not.
33Послушайте наставления и будьте мудры, и не отступайте от него .
34Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.
34Блажен человек, который слушает меня, бодрствуя каждый день у ворот моих и стоя на страже у дверей моих!
35For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favor of Jehovah.
35потому что, кто нашел меня, тот нашел жизнь, и получит благодать от Господа;
36But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: All they that hate me love death.
36а согрешающий против меня наносит вред душе своей:все ненавидящие меня любят смерть".
