1O give thanks unto Jehovah; For he is good; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
1(106:1) Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его!
2Let the redeemed of Jehovah say [so], Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
2(106:2) Так да скажут избавленные Господом, которых избавил Он от руки врага,
3And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
3(106:3) и собрал от стран, от востока и запада, от севера и моря.
4They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; They found no city of habitation.
4(106:4) Они блуждали в пустыне по безлюдному пути и не находили населенного города;
5Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them.
5(106:5) терпели голод и жажду, душа их истаевала в них.
6Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he delivered them out of their distresses,
6(106:6) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он избавил их от бедствий их,
7He led them also by a straight way, That they might go to a city of habitation.
7(106:7) и повел их прямым путем, чтобы они шли к населенному городу.
8Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!
8(106:8) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
9For he satisfieth the longing soul, And the hungry soul he filleth with good.
9(106:9) ибо Он насытил душу жаждущую и душу алчущую исполнил благами.
10Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Being bound in affliction and iron,
10(106:10) Они сидели во тьме и тени смертной, окованныескорбью и железом;
11Because they rebelled against the words of God, And contemned the counsel of the Most High:
11(106:11) ибо не покорялись словам Божиим и небрегли о воле Всевышнего.
12Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; They fell down, and there was none to help.
12(106:12) Он смирил сердце их работами; они преткнулись, и не было помогающего.
13Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saved them out of their distresses.
13(106:13) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And brake their bonds in sunder.
14(106:14) вывел их из тьмы и тени смертной, и расторгнул узы их.
15Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!
15(106:15) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
16For he hath broken the gates of brass, And cut the bars of iron in sunder.
16(106:16) ибо Он сокрушил врата медные и вереи железные сломил.
17Fools because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
17(106:17) Безрассудные страдали за беззаконные пути свои и за неправды свои;
18Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; And they draw near unto the gates of death.
18(106:18) от всякой пищи отвращалась душа их, и они приближались ко вратам смерти.
19Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saveth them out of their distresses.
19(106:19) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
20He sendeth his word, and healeth them, And delivereth [them] from their destructions.
20(106:20) послал слово Свое и исцелил их, и избавил их от могил их.
21Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!
21(106:21) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
22And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with singing.
22(106:22) Да приносят Ему жертву хвалы и да возвещают о делах Его спением!
23They that go down to the sea in ships, That do business in great waters;
23(106:23) Отправляющиеся на кораблях в море, производящие дела на больших водах,
24These see the works of Jehovah, And his wonders in the deep.
24(106:24) видят дела Господа и чудеса Его в пучине:
25For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, Which lifteth up the waves thereof.
25(106:25) Он речет, – и восстанет бурный ветер и высоко поднимает волны его:
26They mount up to the heavens, they go down again to the depths: Their soul melteth away because of trouble.
26(106:26) восходят до небес, нисходят до бездны; душа их истаевает в бедствии;
27They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits' end.
27(106:27) они кружатся и шатаются, как пьяные, и вся мудрость их исчезает.
28Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he bringeth them out of their distresses.
28(106:28) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он вывел их из бедствия их.
29He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.
29(106:29) Он превращает бурю в тишину, и волны умолкают.
30Then are they glad because they are quiet; So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
30(106:30) И веселятся, что они утихли, и Он приводит их к желаемой пристани.
31Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!
31(106:31) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
32Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, And praise him in the seat of the elders.
32(106:32) Да превозносят Его в собрании народном и да славят Его в сонме старейшин!
33He turneth rivers into a wilderness, And watersprings into a thirsty ground;
33(106:33) Он превращает реки в пустыню и источники вод – в сушу,
34A fruitful land into a salt desert, For the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
34(106:34) землю плодородную – в солончатую, за нечестие живущих на ней.
35He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, And a dry land into watersprings.
35(106:35) Он превращает пустыню в озеро, и землю иссохшую – в источники вод;
36And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, That they may prepare a city of habitation,
36(106:36) и поселяет там алчущих, и они строят город для обитания;
37And sow fields, and plant vineyards, And get them fruits of increase.
37(106:37) засевают поля, насаждают виноградники, которые приносят им обильные плоды.
38He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; And he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
38(106:38) Он благословляет их, и они весьма размножаются, и скота их не умаляет.
39Again, they are diminished and bowed down Through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
39(106:39) Уменьшились они и упали от угнетения, бедствия и скорби, –
40He poureth contempt upon princes, And causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
40(106:40) он изливает бесчестие на князей и оставляет их блуждать в пустыне, где нет путей.
41Yet setteth he the needy on high from affliction, And maketh [him] families like a flock.
41(106:41) Бедного же извлекает из бедствия и умножает род его, как стада овец.
42The upright shall see it, and be glad; And all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
42(106:42) Праведники видят сие и радуются, а всякое нечестие заграждает уста свои.
43Whoso is wise will give heed to these things; And they will consider the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah.
43(106:43) Кто мудр, тот заметит сие и уразумеет милость Господа.
