1For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David. Michtam. Do ye indeed in silence speak righteousness? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
1(57:1) Начальнику хора. Не погуби. Писание Давида. (57:2) Подлинно ли правду говорите вы, судьи, и справедливо судите, сыны человеческие?
2Nay, in heart ye work wickedness; Ye weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.
2(57:3) Беззаконие составляете в сердце, кладете на весы злодеяния рук ваших на земле.
3The wicked are estranged from the womb: They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
3(57:4) С самого рождения отступили нечестивые, от утробы матери заблуждаются, говоря ложь.
4Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: [They are] like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear,
4(57:5) Яд у них – как яд змеи, как глухого аспида, который затыкает уши свои
5Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, Charming never so wisely.
5(57:6) и не слышит голоса заклинателя, самого искусного в заклинаниях.
6Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah.
6(57:7) Боже! сокруши зубы их в устах их; разбей, Господи, челюсти львов!
7Let them melt away as water that runneth apace: When he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.
7(57:8) Да исчезнут, как вода протекающая; когда напрягут стрелы, пусть они будут как переломленные.
8[Let them be] as a snail which melteth and passeth away, [Like] the untimely birth of a woman, that hath not seen the sun.
8(57:9) Да исчезнут, как распускающаяся улитка; да не видят солнца, каквыкидыш женщины.
9Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will take them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
9(57:10) Прежде нежели котлы ваши ощутят горящий терн, и свежее и обгоревшее да разнесет вихрь.
10The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked;
10(57:11) Возрадуется праведник, когда увидит отмщение; омоет стопы свои в крови нечестивого.
11So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.
11(57:12) И скажет человек: „подлинно есть плод праведнику! итак есть Бог, судящий на земле!"
