¹गलील क काना मँ तीसरे दिन कउनो क घरे मँ बियाह रहा। ईसू क महतारी हुवाँ मौजूद रही।

¹The third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there.

²बियाहे मँ ईसू क अउर ओनके चेलन क बोलउवा आइ रहा।

²Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the marriage.

³हुवाँ जब दाखरस खतम होइ गवा तउ ईसू क महतारी कहेस, “ओनके पास अब दाखरस नाहीं अहइ, सब खतम होइ ग।”

³When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.”

⁴ईसू ओसे कहेस, “इ तू मोसे काहे बतावत अहा? अबहीं मोर समइ नाहीं आवा अहइ।”

⁴Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.”

⁵फिन ओकर महतारी ऩउकरन स कहेस, “तू पचे उहइ करा जउन इ तोहसे करइ बरे कहइ।”

⁵His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.”

⁶हुवाँ पानी भरइ बरे पाथर क छ: मटका धरा रहेन। इ मटकन क यहूदियन पवित्तर स्नान क बरे इस्तेमाल करत रहेन। हर मटका मँ लगभग बीस स तीस गैलन पानी आवत रहा।

⁶Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes 2 to 3 metretes is about 20 to 30 U. S. Gallons, or 75 to 115 litres. apiece.

⁷ईसू नउकरन स कहेस, “मटकन क पानी स भर द्या।” नउकरन मटकन क लबालब भरि दिहेन।

⁷Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” They filled them up to the brim.

⁸फिन उ ओनसे कहेस, “अब थोड़ा पानी बाहेर निकाला, अउर दावत क इन्तजाम करइवाला मुखिया क पास लइ जा।” अउर उ पचे थोर क पानी मुखिया क पास लइ गएन।

⁸He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it.

⁹फिन दावत क इन्तजाम करइवाला मुखिया उ पानी क थोरा स चखेस तउ उ पाएस कि इ पानी तउ दाखरस बनि गवा रहा। उ जानि नाहीं पाएस कि दाखरस कहाँ स आइ गवा। मुला ओन नउकरन क तउ पता रहा, जउन पानी निकारे रहेन।

⁹When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom,

¹⁰फिन दावत क मुखिया दुल्हा क बोलाएस अउर ओसे कहेस, “सब मनई पहिले अच्छी दाखरस परोसत हीं अउर जब मेहमानन क मन भरि जात ह तउ घटिया दाखरस देइ लागत हीं। मुला तउ सबसे बढ़िया वाली दाखरस अबहीं तक बचाए रखे अहा।”

¹⁰and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”

¹¹ईसू गलील क काना मँ आपन पहिला अदुभुत कारज कइके आपन महिमा परगट किहेस। जेहसे ओकर चेलन ओहमाँ बिसवास करेन्ह।

¹¹This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

¹²ओकरे पाछे फिन ईसू आपन महतारी, भाइयन अउर चेलन क साथे कफरनहूम चला गवा, जहाँ प उ पचे कछू दिन ठहरेन्ह।

¹²After this, he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; and they stayed there a few days.

¹³यहूदियन क फसह क त्यौहार निचके रहा। इ करण ईसू यरूसलेम चला गवा।

¹³The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

¹⁴हुवाँ मंदिर मँ ईसू देखेस कि तमाम मनई मवेसियन, भेड़न अउर कबूतरन क बेचत रहेन अउर सिक्का बदलइवाले बयपारी अपनी गदूदी प बइठा रहेन।

¹⁴He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.

¹⁵इ बरे उ रस्सी क ठु कोड़ा बनाएस अउर ओन सबका मवेसियन अउर भेड़न समेत बाहर खदेर दिहेस। सिक्का बदलइवाले बयपारियन क सिक्का बिखराइ दिहेस अउर ओनके चौकियन क बिखराइ दिहेस।

¹⁵He made a whip of cords, and threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew their tables.

¹⁶कबूतरन क बेचइवालेन स कहेस, “एनका सबका हियाँ स बाहेर लइ जा! मोरे परमपिता क घर बजार जिन बनावा!”

¹⁶To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a marketplace!”

¹⁷इ सब देखिके ओकरे चेलन क याद आइ गवा कि पवित्तर सास्तर मँ लिखा अहइ: “तोहरे घर बरे मोर लगन मोका खाइ जाई।” भजन संहिता 69:9

¹⁷His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.” Psalm 69:9

¹⁸एकरे जवाब मँ यहूदियन ईसू स कहेन, “तू हमका सबेन्ह क कउन अद्भुत चीन्ह क तौर पइ देखाइ सकत ह्या, जइसे इ साबित होइ जाइ कि जउन तू करत अहा, ओकर तू अधिकारी अहा?”

¹⁸The Jews therefore answered him, “What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?”

¹⁹ईसु ओनका जवाब दिहेस, “इ मंदिर क तू पचे गिराइ द्या अउर मइँ एका तीन दिन क अन्दर फिन बनाइ देब।”

¹⁹Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

²⁰इ सुनिके यहूदियन बोलेन, “इ मंदिर क बनावइ मँ छियालिस बरिस लगा रहेन, अउर तू कहत अहा कि ऍका मइँ तीन दिन मँ बनाइ देब?”

²⁰The Jews therefore said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?”

²¹(मुला ईसू जउने मंदिर क बात करत रहा, उ ओकर आपन देह रही।

²¹But he spoke of the temple of his body.

²²बाद मँ जब मउत क बाद ईसू फिन जी उठा तउ ओकरे चेलन क याद आवा कि ईसू ऍका कहे रहा, अब तउ उ पचे पवित्तर सास्तर प अउर ईसू क बात पर बिसवास करइ लागेन।)

²²When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

²³फसह क त्यौहार क दिनन जब ईसू यरूसलेम मँ रहा, तउ तमाम मनई ओकर अद्भुत कारजन अउर चीन्हन देखिके ओहमाँ बिसवास करइ लागेन।

²³Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing his signs which he did.

²⁴मुला ईसू अपने आपका ओनके सहारे नाहीं छोड़ेस, काहे स कि उ सबका बख्बी जानत रहा।

²⁴But Jesus didn’t trust himself to them, because he knew everyone,

²⁵ओका इ बात क कउनो जरुरत नाहीं रही कि केहू आइके ओका लोगन क बारे मँ बतावइ, ऍह बरे कि उ अच्छी तरह जानत रहा कि लोगन क मन मँ का अहइ।

²⁵and because he didn’t need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
