¹अउर जब ईसू क पता चला कि फरीसियन इ सुने अहइँ कि ईसू यूहन्ना स जियादा लोगन क बपतिस्मा देत अहइ अउर ओनका आपन चेलन बनावत अहइ।

¹Therefore when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John

²(वइसे ईसू खुदइ बपतिस्मा नाहीं देत रहा। बल्कि ओकर चेलन इ कारज करत रहेन्ह।)

²(although Jesus himself didn’t baptize, but his disciples),

³उ यहूदिया छोड़िके एक बार फिन गलील लौट ग रहा।

³he left Judea, and departed into Galilee.

⁴इ दाईं ओका सामरिया होइके जाइका पड़ा।

⁴He needed to pass through Samaria.

⁵एह बरे उ सामरिया क एक नगर सूखार मँ आवा। इ नगर उहइ भुइँया क पास रहा। जउने क याकूब अपने बेटवा यूसुफ क दिहे रहा

⁵So he came to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son, Joseph.

⁶हुवाँ याकूब क कुआँ रहा। ईसू इ यात्रा मँ एकदम थक ग रहा, एह बरे उ कुआँ क पास बइठ गवा। उ समइ करीब करीब दुपहरिया रही।

⁶Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being tired from his journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour noon .

⁷एक ठु सामरी स्त्री पानी भरइ क बास्ते आइ! ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मोका पिअइ क पानी दइ द्या।)”

⁷A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”

⁸(उ समइ सब चेलन खाना बेसहइ क बरे सहर चला गवा रहेन।)

⁸For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.

⁹सामरी स्त्री ओसे कहेस, “तू यह्दी होइके मोसे पानी काहे मांगत अहा, मइँ तउ सामरी स्त्री अहउँ?” (यहुदी तउ सामरियन स कउनो मतलब नाहीं रखत रहेन।)

⁹The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, “How is it that you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

¹⁰ओकरे जवाब मँ ईसू ओसे कहेस, “जदी तू ऍतना जनतेउ कि परमेस्सर का दिहेस अउर उ कउन अहइ जउन तोहसे कहत अहइ कि ‘मोका पानी द्या’ तउ तू ओसे खुदइ मँगतिउ, अउर उ तोहका जीवन जल दइ देत।”

¹⁰Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

¹¹उ स्त्री ओसे कहेस, “महासय, तोहरे लगे तउ कउनो बासन तक नाहीं बाटइ अउर कुआँ बहुत गहिर अहइ फिन तोहरे पास जीवन जल कइसे होइ सकत ह

¹¹The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. From where then have you that living water?

¹²जरूर तू हमरे पूर्वज याकूब स बड़ा अहा जेक हमका कुआँ दिहेन अउर अपने लड़िकन्ह अउर जानवरन्ह क साथ खुदइ एकर पानी पिए रहेन्ह।”

¹²Are you greater than our father, Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself, as did his children, and his livestock?”

¹³ईसू एकरे जवाब मँ कहेस, “जउन मनई इ कुआँ क पानी पिअत ह, ओका फिन पियास लगी।

¹³Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,

¹⁴मुला जउन मनई उ पानी क पी लेई जउन पानी मइँ देब, ओका फिन कबहूँ पियासन लगी। मोर दीन्ह पानी ओकरे दिल मँ एक पानी क झरना क नाई बन जाई जउन घुमड़ घुमड़ क ओका अनन्त जीवन देई।”

¹⁴ but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

¹⁵तब उ स्त्री ओसे कहेस, “हे महासय, मोका उहइ पानी दइ द्या जेहसे कि मइँ कबहूँ पियासी न रही अउर मोका फिन पानी खँइचे क बरे न आवइ क पड़इ।”

¹⁵The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I don’t get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw.”

¹⁶इ सुनके ईसू ओसे कहेस, “ जा अपने पति क बोलावा अउर हियाँ आवा।”

¹⁶Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”

¹⁷एकरे जवाब मँ स्त्री कहेस, “मोर कउनो पति नाहीं बाटइ।” ईसू ओसे कहेस, “जब तू कहति अहा कि तोहार कउनो पति नाहीं बाटइ, तउ तू ठीक कहति अहा

¹⁷The woman answered, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You said well, ‘I have no husband,’

¹⁸तोहरे पाँच पति रहेन अउर जउने पुरूस क साथ तू रहित अहा, उ तोहार पति न अहइ, एह बरे जउन तू कहति अहा उ ठीक अहइ।”

¹⁸ for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly.”

¹⁹इ सुनिके उ स्त्री ओसे कहेस, “महासय, मोका तउ लागत अहइ कि तू कउनो नबी अहा।

¹⁹The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

²⁰हमरे पूर्वजन इ पर्वत प आराधना किए रहेन्ह मुला तू कहत अहा कि यरूरलेम आराधना क स्थान अहइ।”

²⁰Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

²¹ईसू ओसे कहेस, “हे स्त्री मोरी बात माँ बिसवास करा। उ समइ आवइवाला अहइ जब तू परमपिता क आराधना न तउ एहि पर्वत प करइ पउबू अउर न तउ यरूसलेम मँ।

²¹Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.

²²तू सामरी लोगन्ह ओका नाहीं जानत अहइँ जेकर आराधना करति अह?ा। मुला हम यहूदी ओका जानित ह जेकर आराधना करति अहा। सबन क उद्धार यहूदियन स मिली।

²² You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

²³मुला उहइ समइ आवत अहइ, ‘अउर आइ ग’ बाटइ जब सच्चे आराधना परमपिता क आराधना, आतिमा अउर सच्चाई मँ करिहीं। परमपिता अइसे आराधक चाहत ह।

²³ But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.

²⁴परमपिता आतिमा अहइ अउर एह बरे जउन ओकर आराधना करी ओका आतिमा अउर सच्चाइन मँ आराधना करइ क पड़ी।”

²⁴ God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

²⁵फिन स्त्री ओसे कहे?स, “मइँ जानत अहउँ कि मसीह (यानी ख्रीष्ट) आवइवाला अहइ। जब उ आई तउ हम पचन क सब कछू बताई।”

²⁵The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah comes,” (he who is called Christ). “When he has come, he will declare to us all things.”

²⁶ईसू ओसे कहेस, “मइँ जउन तोहसे बतियात अहउँ मइँ उहइ अहउँ।”

²⁶Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.”

²⁷उहइ समइ ओकर चेलन लौट आएन। अउर ओनका इ देखिके बहु?त अचरज भवा कि उ एक ठु स्त्री स बात करत अहइ। मुला कउनो ओह इ नाहीं कहेस, “तोहका इ स्त्री स का मतलब अहइ, अउर या “ई स्त्री स तू काहे? बरे बतियात अहा।”

²⁷At this, his disciples came. They marveled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, “What are you looking for?” or, “Why do you speak with her?”

²⁸उ स्त्री आपन पानी भरइवाली गगरी छोड़िके सहर चली गइ अउर मनइयन स कहेस,

²⁸So the woman left her water pot, and went away into the city, and said to the people,

²⁹“आवा जा अउर देखा, एक ठु अइसा मनई अहइ, जउन मोर कीन्ह सच मोका बताइ दिहेस। का तू इ नाहीं सोचत अहा कि उ मसीह अहइ?”

²⁹“Come, see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?”

³⁰इ सुनिके सब लोगन्ह सहर छोड़िके ईसू क लगे जाइ पहुँ?चेन।

³⁰They went out of the city, and were coming to him.

³¹उहइ समइ ईसू क चेलन ओसे बिनती करत रहेन्ह, “गुरू कछू खाइ ल्या!”

³¹In the meanwhile, the disciples urged him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”

³²मुला ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “मोरे पास खाइ बरे, अइसा खाना अहइ जेकरे बारे मँ तू पचे कछू नाहीं जानत अहा।”

³²But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.”

³³इ सुनिके सब चेलन आपस मँ एक दूसरे स पूछइ लागेन, “का ओकरे बरे कउनो खाइ बरे कछू लिआवा होई?”

³³The disciples therefore said one to another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?”

³⁴ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “मोर खाना ओकर (परमेस्सर) इच्छा क पूरी करब अहइ जउन मोका पठएस ह। जउन कारज मोका सौंपा गवा बाटइ, ओका मोका पूरा करइ क अहइ,

³⁴Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.

³⁵तू पचे अक्सर कहत ह, ‘चार महीना बाकी बा तब जाइके फसल आई’ मुला मइँ तोहका पचेन्क बतावत अही कि आपन आपन आँखी खोला अउर खेतन क तरफ देखा उ सब काटइ क बरे तइयार होइ गवा अहइँ। उ जउन कटाई करत अहइ आपन मजूरी पावत अहइ।

³⁵ Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest?’ Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.

³⁶अउर अनन्त जीवन क बरे फसल इकट्ठा करत बा, एह बरे कि फसल बोवइवाला अउर ओका एकदम स सच्ची निकरी,

³⁶ He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

³⁷‘एक मनई बोवत ह अउर दूसर मनई ओका काटत ह।’

³⁷ For in this the saying is true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’

³⁸मइँ तोहका इ फसल काटइ क बरे भेजे अही जेहि? पइ तोहार मेहनत नाहीं लागी बाटइ। जेहि? पइ दूसरे क मेहनत लगी अहइ अउर ओकरी मेहनत क फल तोहका मिला अहइ।”

³⁸ I sent you to reap that for which you haven’t labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”

³⁹उ सहर क तमाम मनइयन ईसू मँ बिसवास किहेन, एह बरे कि उ स्त्री क बात क सच्ची मान लिहेन जउन कहे?स, “मइँ जउन कछू करे रहे?उँ, उ ओका ओकरे बारे मँ सब बताइ दिहेस।”

³⁹From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, “He told me everything that I did.”

⁴⁰जब सामरी ओकरे पास आएन तउ ओन सबे ओसे ठहरइ क बरे चिरौरी करेन्ह ऍकरे बाद उ दुइ दिन हु?वाँ ठहर गवा।

⁴⁰So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days.

⁴¹ओकरी बात स प्रभावित होइके तमाम जने ओहमाँ बिसवास करइ लागेन।

⁴¹Many more believed because of his word.

⁴²ओन सब उ स्त्री स कहेन, “अब हम सिरिफ तोहरी साच्छी क नाईं बिसवास ही नाहीं करत अही, मुला अब तउ हम सब खुदइ सुनि अउर देख लीन्ह। अब हम पचे जान लीन्ह कि सचमुच उ मनई संसार क उद्धार करइवाला बाटइ।”

⁴²They said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

⁴³दुइ दिन क बाद उ हुवाँ स गलील क चल दिहेस।

⁴³After the two days he went out from there and went into Galilee.

⁴⁴(एक बरे कि ईसू खुद कहे रहा कि कउनो नबी अपने देस मँ कबहुँ? आदर नाहीं पावत।)

⁴⁴For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.

⁴⁵इ तरह जब उ गलील आवा तउ गलील क रहइवाले ओकर स्वागत करेन्ह काहे बरे उ पचे उ सबइ कछू लखे रहेन्ह जउन कछु फसह क त्यौहार यरूसलेम मँ उ किहे रहा: काहे?कि उ पचे सबहिं? त्यौहार मँ सामिल रहेन।

⁴⁵So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.

⁴⁶ईसू एक बार फिन गलील मँ काना गवा जहाँ उ पानी क दाखरस बनाइ दिहे रहा। अब की दाई कफरनहूम मँ एक ठु राजकर्मचारी रहा जेकर बेटवा बीमार रहा।

⁴⁶Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

⁴⁷जब राजकर्मचारी सुनेस कि यहूदिया स ईसू गलील आवा अहइ तउ उ ओकरे पास आवा अउर इ विनती किहेस कि उ कफरनहू?म जाइके ओकरे बेटवा क चंगा कइ दे ओकर बेटवा एकदम मरइ क किनारे आइ गवा रहा।

⁴⁷When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him, and begged him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

⁴⁸ईसू ओसे कहेस, “अद्भुत कारजन अउर अचरजे कारजन क देखे बिना तू पचे बिसवास न करब्या।

⁴⁸Jesus therefore said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe.”

⁴⁹राजकर्मचारी ओसे कहे?स, “महासय, एकरे पहले कि मोर बेटवा मरि जाइ, तू मोरे साथे घरे चला।”

⁴⁹The nobleman said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”

⁵⁰ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “जा तोहार बेटवा जिअत रही।” ईसू जउन कहे रहा, उ पचे ओह पइ बिसवास किहेस अउर घर चला गवा।

⁵⁰Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your son lives.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

⁵¹उ घर लौटत ही रास्ते मँ रहा कि ओकर नउकर मिल गएन अउर इ समाचार सुनाएन, “तोहार बेटवा चंगा होइ गवा।”

⁵¹As he was now going down, his servants met him and reported, saying “Your child lives!”

⁵²उ पूछेस, “ओकर हालत कब स ठीक होइ लाग ह?” उ जवाब दिहसे, “कल दुपहरिया मँ एक बजे ओकर बुखार उतर गवा।”

⁵²So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour, 1:00 P. M. the fever left him.”

⁵³उ लरिका क बाप क इ याद आइ गवा कि इहइ ठीक समइ रहा जब ईसू ओसे कहेस, “तोहार बेटवा जिअत रही।” इ तरीका स ओकर पूरा परिवार ईसू मँ बिसवास करइ लाग।

⁵³So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” He believed, as did his whole house.

⁵⁴इ दूसर अद्भुत कारज रहा जउन ईसू यहू?दियन क गलील आए क बाद देखाएस।

⁵⁴This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
