¹एकरे बाद ईसू यहू?दियन क एक उत्सव मँ यरूसलेम गवा।

¹After these things, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

²यरूसलेम मँ भेड़ दरवाजा क पास एक ठु पोखरा अहइ, जेहिका इब्रानी भाखा मँ ‘बैतहसदा’ कहा जात ह। एकरे किनारे पाँच ठु बरामदा बना अहइँ।

²Now in Jerusalem by the sheep gate, there is a pool, which is called in Hebrew, “Bethesda,” having five porches.

³जउने मँ अँधा, लूला, अउर लकवा का मरीज क भीड़ पड़ी रहत ह। अउ उ पचे पानी ह हलइ बरे जोहेन।

³In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water;

⁴कबहूँ पर्भू क दूत पोखरे प आबत रहा अउ पानी क हलावत रहा। सरगदूत क इ करइ क पाछे जउन पहिला मनई पोखरे मँ घुसत रहा उ बेरामी स नीक होइ जात रहा।”

⁴for an angel went down at certain times into the pool, and stirred up the water. Whoever stepped in first after the stirring of the water was made whole of whatever disease he had.

⁵ऍनही मरीजन मँ एक अइसा मरीज रहा जउन अड़तीस बरिस स बीमार रहा।

⁵A certain man was there, who had been sick for thirty-eight years.

⁶जब ईसू ओका हुवाँ लेटा लखेस अउर इ जानेस की ऍतने लम्बे समइ बीमार अहइ तउ ईसू ओसे कहेस, “का तू चंगा होइ चाहत अहा?”

⁶When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been sick for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to be made well?”

⁷रोगी जवाब देहेस, “महासय मोरे पास केउ नाहीं अहइ जउन पानी क हिलइ प मोका पोखरा मँ उतार देइ। जउ मइँ पोखरा मँ जावा चाहित ह, तउ हमेसा कउनो दूसर मनई मोसे पहिले ओहमाँ उतर जात ह।”

⁷The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I’m coming, another steps down before me.”

⁸ईसू ओसे कहेस, “खड़ा होइ जा, आपन बिस्तरा उठावा अउर उ चलइ लागा।”

⁸Jesus said to him, “Arise, take up your mat, and walk.”

⁹उ मनई तुरतंहि? चंगा होइ गवा। उ आपन बिस्तरा उठाएस अउर चल दिहेस। उ दिन सबित क दिन रहा।

⁹Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.

¹⁰इ देखिके यहूदियन उ मनई जउन चंगा होइ गवा रहा स कहब सुरू किहेन, “आज सबित क दिन अहइ अउर इ हमरे नियम क खिलाफ अहइ कि तू आपन बिस्तरा उठावा।”

¹⁰So the Jews said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat.”

¹¹इ सुनिके उ जवाब दिहेस, “जउन मोका चंगा किहे बाटइ उ मोसे कहेस, ‘आपन बिस्तरा उठावा अउर चल द्या।”

¹¹He answered them, “He who made me well, the same said to me, ‘Take up your mat, and walk.’ ”

¹²उ पचे ओसे पूछेन्ह, उ कउन मनई अहइ जउन तोहसे कहेस कि आपन बिस्तरा उठावा अउर चला?”

¹²Then they asked him, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Take up your mat, and walk’ ?”

¹³मुला उ मनई जउन चंगा होइ गवा रहा नाहीं जानत रहा कि उ कउन अहइ, काहे?कि हुवाँ बहुत भीड़ रही अउर ईसू चुपचाप हु?वाँ स चला गवा।

¹³But he who was healed didn’t know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a crowd being in the place.

¹⁴ऍकरे बाद ईसू उ मनई क मन्दिर मँ देखेस अउर ओसे कहेस, “देखा, अब तू नीक होइ गवा अहा, एह बरे अब तू पाप करब बन्द कइ द्या नाहीं तउ कउनो अउर बड़ा कस्ट तोहरे ऊपर आइ सकत ह!”

¹⁴Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you.”

¹⁵फिन उ मनई चला गवा। हुवाँ स चलिके उ यहूदियन स आइ क कहेस की ओका चंगा करइवाला ईसू रहा।

¹⁵The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

¹⁶यहूदियन ईसू क सताउब सुरू कइ दिहेन्ह, एह बरे कि उ अइसे काम सबित क दिन किहे रहा।

¹⁶For this cause the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these things on the Sabbath.

¹⁷ईसू ओनका जवाब देत कहेस, “मोर परमपिता कबहुँ? काम करब नाहीं छोड़त, एह बरे मइँ काम करित हउँ।”

¹⁷But Jesus answered them, “My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”

¹⁸यहूदियन ओका मार डावइ क इन्तजाम करइ लागेन्ह। केवल इहइ बरे नाहीं कि उ सबित क तोड़त रहा, मुला इहइ बरे कि उ परमेस्सर क आपन परमपिता कहत रहा। इहइ तरीके स उ अपने क परमेस्सर क बराबर देखॅावत रहा।

¹⁸For this cause therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

¹⁹जवाब देत ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “मइँ तू सब पचन क सच्ची बात बतावत अहउँ कि पूत अपने आप कछू नाहीं कइ सकत। उ तउ केवल उहइ करत ह जउन करत अपने परमपिता क देखत ह। परमपिता जउन कछू करत ह, पूत उहइ करत ह।

¹⁹Jesus therefore answered them, “Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.

²⁰परमपिता अपने पूत स पिरेम करत ह। अउर उ सब कछू देखाइ देत ह जउन उ करत ह। ओन सब कामन स बड़ी-बड़ी बातन क उ ओका देखाई। तउ तू पचे अचरज करब्या।

²⁰ For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

²¹जइसे परमपिता मरा पूत क उठाइके ओनका नवा जीवन देत ह। वइसे ही भी उन लोगन क जीवन देत ह, जेनका चाहत ह।

²¹ For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.

²²परमपिता केहू क निआव नाहीं करत मुला उ निआव करइके अधिकार अपने पूत क दइ दिहे? अहइ।

²² For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,

²³जेहसे कि सबहीं मनई क पूत क मान सम्मान करइँ जेहसे कि परमपिता क सबहीं आदर करत हीं। जउन पूत क आदर नाहीं करत परमपिता उ क आदर नाहीं करत जउन ओका पठए अहइ।

²³ that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who doesn’t honor the Son doesn’t honor the Father who sent him.

²⁴“मइँ तोहका सच-सच बतावत हउँ जउन मोर बात सुनत ह अउर ओह पइ बिसवास करत ह जउन ओका भेजे अहइ, तउ उ अनन्त जीवन पावत ह। निआव क दंड ओकरे ऊपर नाहीं पड़त। उ मनई मृत्यु स जीवन मँ प्रवेस पाइ जात ह।

²⁴ “Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

²⁵मइँ तू पचन क बतावत अहउँ कि उ समइ आवइवाला अहइ, हि?याँ तक कि आइ चुका अहइ जबहीं कि जउन मरि चुका अहइँ, परमेस्सर क पूत क बचन सुनिहइँ अउर जे ओका सुनि लेहीं उ पचे जी उठिहीं।

²⁵ Most certainly, I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.

²⁶काहेकि जेहसे परमपिता जीवन क स्त्रोत अहइ, वइसे अपने पूतन क जीवन क स्त्रोत बनाए बाटइ।

²⁶ For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.

²⁷अउर उ ओका निआव क अधिकार दिहे? अहइ। एह बरे कि उ मनई क पूत अहइ।

²⁷ He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.

²⁸इ बात प अचरज करइ क जरूरत नाहीं अहइ कि उ समइ आवइवाला अहइ कि जब जउन अपनी अपनी कब्र मँ अहइ, ओकर बचन सुनिहइँ।

²⁸ Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice,

²⁹अउर बाहर आइ जइहइँ। जउन मनई नीक कारज किहे? अहइँ उ सबइ पुनरूत्थान पाइ जइहइँ। मुला जउन खराब कारज किहे अहइँ ओनका पुनरूत्थान क बाद दंड दीन्ह जाई।”

²⁹ and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

³⁰“मइँ खुदइ अपने आप स कछू नाहीं कइ सकित। मइँ परमेस्सर स जउन सुनित ह उहइ क आधार प निआव करित ह अउर मोर निआव ठीक अहइ काहे?कि मइँ अपने मन स कउनो नाहीं करित मुला मइँ ओकरी इच्छा स कारज करित ह जउन मोका पठएस।

³⁰ I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don’t seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.

³¹“जदि मइँ अपनी तरफ स साच्छी देउँ तउ मोर साच्छी सच नाहीं अहइ।

³¹ “If I testify about myself, my witness is not valid.

³²मोर ताईं साच्छी देइवाला एक ठु अउर अहइ। अउर मइँ जानित ह कि मोरी ताईं जउन साच्छी देत अहइ उ सच्ची अहइ।

³² It is another who testifies about me. I know that the testimony which he testifies about me is true.

³³“तू पचे लोगन क यूहन्ना क पास पठए रह्या अउर उ सच्चाई क साच्छी दिहेस।

³³ You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.

³⁴मइँ मनई क साच्छी प भरोसा नाहीं करित मुला मइँ इ बरे कहत हउँ जइसे कि तू पचनक उद्धार होइ जाइ।

³⁴ But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.

³⁵यूहन्ना उ दीपक क नाईं रहा जउन जलत भइ रोसनी देत हे। अउर कछू मसइ तक तू पचे उ रोसनी स फायदा लेइ चाहत रह्या।

³⁵ He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.

³⁶“मुला मोर साच्छी यूहन्ना क साच्छी स बड़ी बाटइ, यह बदे कि परमपिता जउन कारज पूरा करइ क बरे मोका जिम्मेवारी सौंपी अहइ, मइँ उहइ कारज करत अहउँ अउर मोर कीन्ह कारज अपने आपइ इ बात क साच्छी अहइ कि परमपिता मोका पठए अहइ।

³⁶ But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

³⁷परमपिता जउन मोका पठए अहइ, उ खुदइ मोर साच्छी दिहे अहइ। तू पचे ओकर कउनो बचन नाहीं सुन्या अउर न तउ ओकर रूप लखे अहा।

³⁷ The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.

³⁸अउर न तउ अपने अन्दर ओकर संदेस धारन करे अहा, काहेकि तू पचे जेका परमपिता भेजे अहइ, ओकरे मँ बिसवास नाहीं करता अहा।

³⁸ You don’t have his word living in you; because you don’t believe him whom he sent.

³⁹तू पचे पवित्तर सास्तरन क धियान स पढ़त ह काहेकि तोहार इ विचार अहइ कि तोहका उहइ स अनन्त जीवन मिल जाई। मुला इ सब पवित्तर सास्तर मोर साच्छी देत हीं।

³⁹ “You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

⁴⁰एतना होत भए भी तू पचे मोरे पास नाहीं आवा चाहत अहा।

⁴⁰ Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.

⁴¹“मइँ मनइयन क कीन्ह प्रसंसा प भरोसा नाहीं करित।

⁴¹ I don’t receive glory from men.

⁴²मुला मइँ जानित ह कि तोहार भीतर परमेस्सर क पिरेम नाहीं अहइ।

⁴² But I know you, that you don’t have God’s love in yourselves.

⁴³मइँ अपने परमपिता क नाउँ स आइ अहउँ तबहूँ तू पचे स्वीकार नाहीं करत अहा, अउर अगर कउनो दूसरे नाउँ स कहे आइ जाइ तउ तू ओका स्वीकार करब्या।

⁴³ I have come in my Father’s name, and you don’t receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

⁴⁴तू मोहे मँ बिसवास कइसे करि सकत ह, काहे बरे कि तू पचे एक दूसरे क प्रसंसा करत ह। तू पचे उ प्रसंसा कइँती देखबउ नाहीं करत अहा जउन केवल परमेस्सर क तरफ स आवत अहइ।

⁴⁴ How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God?

⁴⁵तू पचे इ तनिकउ न सोचा कि मइँ तोहका परमपिता क सामने दोखी ठहराऊब। जउन तोहका पचे क दोखी ठहराई, उ मूसा होई जेकरे ऊपर तू पचे आपन आसरा लगाए अहा।

⁴⁵ “Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

⁴⁶जदि तू सबइ मूसा मँ बिसवास करत्या तउ तू मोहे मँ बिसवास करत्या काहेकि उ मोरे बारे मँ लिखे अहइ।

⁴⁶ For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.

⁴⁷जबहीं तू ओकरे लिखे मँ बिसवास नाहीं करत अहा, तउ तू मोरे बात मँ बिसवास कइसे करब्या?”

⁴⁷ But if you don’t believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”
