1 Daeth arweinwyr y bobl i fyw yn Jerwsalem, ond bwriodd y gweddill o'r bobl goelbren i ddod ag un o bob deg i fyw yn Jerwsalem y ddinas sanctaidd, a'r naw arall yn y trefi.
1And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused to fall lots to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,
2 Bendithiodd y bobl y rhai a aeth o'u gwirfodd i fyw yn Jerwsalem.
2and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Dyma benaethiaid y dalaith, oedd yn byw yn Jerwsalem. Yn nhrefi Jwda yr oedd yr Israeliaid, yr offeiriaid, y Lefiaid, gweision y deml a disgynyddion gweision Solomon yn byw, pob un yn ei diriogaeth ei hun.
3And these [are] heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.
4 Dyma'r rhai o lwyth Jwda a'r rhai o lwyth Benjamin oedd yn byw yn Jerwsalem: o lwyth Jwda, Athaia fab Usseia, fab Sechareia, fab Amareia, fab Seffatia, fab Mahalaleel o deulu Peres;
4And in Jerusalem have dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;
5 a Maaseia fab Baruch, fab Colhose, fab Hasaia, fab Adaia, fab Joiarib, fab Sechareia, fab Siloni.
5and Masseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of Shiloni;
6 Yr oedd teulu cyfan Peres, oedd yn byw yn Jerwsalem, yn bedwar cant chwe deg ac wyth o ddynion cyfrifol.
6all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem [are] four hundred sixty and eight, men of valour.
7 Y rhain oedd o lwyth Benjamin: Salu fab Mesulam, fab Joed, fab Pedaia, fab Colaia, fab Maaseia, fab Ithiel, fab Eseia,
7And these [are] sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;
8 a'i frodyr, gwu375?r grymus, naw cant dau ddeg ac wyth.
8and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
9 Joel fab Sichri oedd yn oruchwyliwr arnynt, a Jwda fab Senua oedd dirprwy arolygwr y ddinas.
9And Joel son of Zichri [is] inspector over them, and Judah son of Senuah [is] over the city — second.
10 O'r offeiriaid: Jedaia fab Joiarib (hynny yw, Jachin),
10Of the priests: Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin,
11 Seraia fab Hilceia, fab Mesulam, fab Sadoc, fab Meraioth, fab Ahitub, arolygwr tu375? Dduw,
11Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God,
12 a nifer eu brodyr oedd yn gyfrifol am waith y deml oedd wyth gant dau ddeg a dau; ac Adaia fab Jeroham, fab Pelalia, fab Amsi, fab Sechareia, fab Pasur, fab Malcheia,
12and their brethren doing the work of the house [are] eight hundred twenty and two; and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchiah,
13 a'i frodyr, pennau-teuluoedd, dau gant pedwar deg a dau; ac Amasai, fab Asareel, fab Ahasai, fab Mesilemoth, fab Immer,
13and his brethren, heads of fathers, two hundred forty and two; and Amashsai son of Azareel, son of Ahazai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer,
14 a'i frodyr, dynion cyfrifol, cant dau ddeg ac wyth, a Sabdiel fab Haggedolim oedd yn oruchwyliwr arnynt.
14and their brethren, mighty of valour, a hundred twenty and eight; and an inspector over them [is] Zabdiel, son of [one of] the great men.
15 Ac o'r Lefiaid: Semaia fab Hasub, fab Asricam, fab Hasabeia, fab Bunni;
15And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,
16 a Sabbethai a Josabad o benaethiaid y Lefiaid oedd yn arolygu'r gwaith o'r tu allan i du375? Dduw;
16and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, [are] over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,
17 a Mataneia fab Meica, fab Sabdi, fab Asaff, arweinydd y mawl, oedd yn talu diolch yn ystod y gwedd�au, a Bacbuceia, yr ail ymysg ei frodyr, ac Abda fab Sammua, fab Galal, fab Jeduthun.
17and Mattaniah son of Micha, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, [is] head — at the commencement he giveth thanks in prayer; and Bakbukiah [is] second among his brethren, and Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.
18 Cyfanswm y Lefiaid yn y ddinas sanctaidd oedd dau gant wyth deg a phedwar.
18All the Levites, in the holy city, [are] two hundred eighty and four.
19 Yr oedd y porthorion oedd yn gwylio'r pyrth, sef Accub, Talmon a'u brodyr, yn gant saith deg a dau.
19And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, those watching at the gates, [are] a hundred seventy and two.
20 Ac yr oedd y gweddill o'r Israeliaid ac o'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid yn holl ddinasoedd Jwda, pob un yn ei etifeddiaeth ei hun.
20And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, [are] in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;
21 Ond yr oedd gweision y deml yn byw ar Offel yng ngofal Siha a Gispa.
21and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.
22 Goruchwyliwr y Lefiaid yn Jerwsalem, i arolygu gwaith tu375? Dduw, oedd Ussi fab Bani, fab Hasabeia, fab Mataneia, fab Meica, o deulu Asaff y cantorion.
22And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem [is] Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha: of the sons of Asaph, the singers [are] over-against the work of the house of God,
23 Oherwydd yr oedd gorchymyn brenhinol ynglu375?n � hwy, fod gan y cantorion ddyletswyddau penodol bob dydd.
23for the command of the king [is] upon them, and support [is] for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.
24 Ac yr oedd Pethaheia fab Mesesabeel o deulu Sera fab Jwda yn cynghori'r brenin ar unrhyw fater yn ymwneud �'r bobl.
24And Pethahiah son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, [is] by the hand of the king, for every matter of the people.
25 Ynglu375?n �'r pentrefi yn y wlad: aeth rhai o lwyth Jwda i fyw yng Ciriath-arba a'i phentrefi, yn Dibon a'i phentrefi, yn Jecabseel a'i phentrefi;
25And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,
26 yn Jesua, yn Molada, yn Beth-pelet,
26and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,
27 yn Hasar-sual, yn Beerseba a'i phentrefi;
27and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,
28 yn Siclag, yn Mechona a'i phentrefi,
28and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,
29 yn En-rimmon, yn Sora, yn Jarmuth,
29and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,
30 Sanoa, Adulam a'u pentrefi; yn Lachis a'i meysydd, yn Aseca a'i phentrefi. Yr oeddent yn gwladychu o Beerseba i ddyffryn Hinnom.
30Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
31 Rhai o lwyth Benjamin oedd yn byw o Geba ymlaen, yn Michmas, Aia, Bethel a'i phentrefi,
31And sons of Benjamin [are] at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananeia,
32Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 Hasor, Rama, Gittaim,
33Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 Hadid, Seboim, Nebalat,
34Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 Lod, ac Ono, dyffryn y crefftwyr.
35Lod, and Ono, the valley of the artificers.
36 Ac yr oedd rhai o'r Lefiaid yn perthyn i Jwda a rhai i Benjamin.
36And of the Levites, the courses of Judah [are] for Benjamin.
