Darby's Translation

Job

36

1 Aeth Elihu ymlaen i ddweud:
1And Elihu proceeded and said,
2 "Aros ychydig, imi gael dangos iti fod eto eiriau i'w dweud dros Dduw.
2Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet words for +God.
3 Yr wyf yn tynnu fy ngwybodaeth o bell, i dystio bod fy Ngwneuthurwr yn gyfiawn.
3I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Creator.
4 Yn wir nid yw fy ngeiriau'n gelwydd; un diogel ei wybodaeth sydd o'th flaen.
4For truly my words shall be no falsehood: one perfect in knowledge is with thee.
5 Edrych yma, Duw yw'r Un Cadarn; nid yw'n anystyriol, eithr mawr a chadarn yw mewn deall.
5Lo, ùGod is mighty, but despiseth not [any]; mighty in strength of understanding:
6 Nid yw'n gadael i'r drygionus gael byw, ond fe gynnal achos y gwan.
6He saveth not the wicked alive; but he doeth justice to the afflicted.
7 Ni thry ei olwg oddi ar y cyfiawn, ond gyda brenhinoedd ar orsedd cnt eistedd am byth, a llwyddo.
7He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne doth he even set them for ever; and they are exalted.
8 Os rhwymir hwy mewn cadwynau, a'u dal mewn gefynnau gofid,
8And if, bound in fetters, they be held in cords of affliction,
9 yna fe ddengys iddynt eu gweithred a'u trosedd, am iddynt fod yn ffroenuchel.
9Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions, because they have increased.
10 Rhydd rybudd iddynt am ddisgyblaeth, a dywed wrthynt am droi oddi wrth eu drygioni.
10And he openeth their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
11 Os gwrandawant, a bod yn ufudd, fe gnt dreulio'u dyddiau mewn llwyddiant, a'u blynyddoedd mewn hyfrydwch.
11If they hearken and serve [him], they shall accomplish their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12 Os gwrthodant wrando, difethir hwy gan gleddyf, a darfyddant heb ddysgu dim.
12But if they hearken not, they shall pass away by the sword, and expire without knowledge.
13 "Y mae'r rhai annuwiol yn ennyn dig, ac ni cheisiant gymorth mewn caethiwed.
13But the godless in heart heap up anger; they cry not when he bindeth them:
14 Y maent yn marw'n ifanc, wedi treulio'u bywyd gyda phuteinwyr cysegr.
14Their soul dieth in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
15 Fe wareda ef y rhai trallodus trwy eu gofid, a'u dysgu trwy orthrymder.
15But he delivereth the afflicted in his affliction, and openeth their ear in [their] oppression.
16 "Er iddo geisio dy ddenu oddi wrth ofid, a'th ddwyn o le cyfyng i ehangder, a hulio dy fwrdd phob braster,
16Even so would he have allured thee out of the jaws of distress into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and the supply of thy table [would be] full of fatness.
17 yr wyt yn llawn o farn ar y drygionus, wedi dy feddiannu gan farn a chyfiawnder.
17But thou art full of the judgments of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
18 Gwylia rhag cael dy hudo gan ddigonedd, a phaid gadael i faint y rhodd dy ddenu.
18Because there is wrath, [beware] lest it take thee away through chastisement: then a great ransom could not avail thee.
19 A fydd dy gyfoeth yn dy helpu mewn cyfyngder, neu holl adnoddau dy nerth?
19Will he esteem thy riches? Not gold, nor all the resources of strength!
20 Paid dyheu am y nos, pan symudir pobloedd o'u lle.
20Desire not the night, when peoples are cut off from their place.
21 Gwylia rhag troi at ddrygioni, oherwydd dewisi hyn yn hytrach na gofid.
21Take heed, turn not to iniquity; for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
22 Sylwa mor aruchel yw Duw yn ei nerth; pwy sydd yn dysgu fel y gwna ef?
22Lo, ùGod is exalted in his power: who teacheth as he?
23 Pwy a wylia arno yn ei ffordd? a phwy a ddywed, 'Yr wyt yn gwneud yn anghyfiawn'?
23Who hath appointed him his way? or who hath said, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?
24 "Cofia di ganmol ei waith, y gwaith y canodd pobl amdano.
24Remember that thou magnify his work, which men celebrate.
25 Y mae pawb yn edrych arno, ac yn ei weld o bell.
25All men look at it; man beholdeth [it] afar off.
26 Cofia fod Duw yn fawr, y tu hwnt i ddeall, a'i flynyddoedd yn ddirifedi.
26Lo, ùGod is great, and we comprehend [him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
27 Y mae'n cronni'r defnynnau du373?r, ac yn eu dihidlo'n law mn fel tarth;
27For he draweth up the drops of water: they distil in rain from the vapour which he formeth,
28 fe'u tywelltir o'r cymylau, i ddisgyn yn gawodydd ar bobl.
28Which the skies pour down [and] drop upon man abundantly.
29 A ddeall neb daeniad y cwmwl, a'r tyrfau sydd yn ei babell?
29But can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, [or] the crashing of his pavilion?
30 Edrych fel y taena'i darth o'i gwmpas, ac y cuddia waelodion y mr.
30Lo, he spreadeth his light around him, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
31 'r rhain y diwalla ef y bobloedd, a rhoi iddynt ddigonedd o fwyd.
31For with them he judgeth the peoples; he giveth food in abundance.
32 Deil y mellt yn ei ddwylo, a'u hanelu i gyrraedd eu nod.
32[His] hands he covereth with lightning, and commandeth it where it is to strike.
33 Dywed ei drwst amdano, fod angerdd ei lid yn erbyn drygioni.
33His thundering declareth concerning him; the cattle even, concerning its coming.
