Job

40

1 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Job:
1And Jehovah answered Job and said,
2 "A ddylai un sy'n dadlau 'r Hollalluog fod yn ystyfnig? Caiff yr un sy'n ymryson Duw ateb am hynny."
2Shall he that will contend with the Almighty instruct [him]? he that reproveth +God, let him answer it.
3 Yna atebodd Job:
3And Job answered Jehovah and said,
4 "Un dibwys wyf fi; beth allaf ei ddweud? Rhof fy llaw ar fy ngheg.
4Behold, I am nought: what shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand upon my mouth.
5 Yr wyf wedi llefaru unwaith, ac nid atebaf eto; do ddwywaith, ac ni chwanegaf."
5Once have I spoken, and I will not answer; yea twice, but I will proceed no further.
6 Yna atebodd yr ARGLWYDD Job o'r corwynt:
6And Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,
7 "Gwna dy hun yn barod i'r ornest; fe holaf fi di, a chei dithau ateb.
7Gird up now thy loins like a man: I will demand of thee, and inform thou me.
8 A wyt ti'n gwadu fy mod yn iawn, ac yn fy nghondemnio, i'th gyfiawnhau dy hun?
8Wilt thou also annul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me that thou mayest be righteous?
9 A oes gennyt nerth fel sydd gan Dduw? A fedri daranu 'th lais fel y gwna ef?
9Hast thou an arm like ùGod? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
10 "Addurna dy hun balchder ac urddas, a gwisga ogoniant a harddwch.
10Deck thyself now with glory and excellency, and clothe thyself with majesty and splendour.
11 Gollwng yn rhydd angerdd dy ddig; edrych ar bob balch, i'w daflu i'r llawr.
11Cast abroad the ragings of thine anger, and look on every one that is proud, and abase him:
12 Sylwa ar bob balchder, i'w ddiraddio; sathra'r rhai drygionus yn eu lle.
12Look on every one that is proud, bring him low, and tread down the wicked in their place:
13 Cuddia hwy i gyd yn y llwch; cuddia'u hwynebau o'r golwg.
13Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in secret.
14 Yna fe'th ganmolaf am fod dy law dde'n dy waredu.
14Then will I also praise thee, because thy right hand saveth thee.
15 "Edrych ar Behemoth, a greais yr un adeg thi; y mae'n bwyta glaswellt fel yr ych.
15See now the behemoth, which I made with thee: he eateth grass as an ox.
16 Y mae ei nerth yn ei lwynau, a'i gryfder yng nghyhyrau ei fol.
16Behold now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the muscles of his belly.
17 Y mae ei gynffon yn syth fel cedrwydden, a gewynnau ei gluniau wedi eu clymu i'w gilydd.
17He bendeth his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are woven together.
18 Y mae ei esgyrn fel pibellau pres, a'i goesau fel barrau haearn.
18His bones are tubes of bronze, his members are like bars of iron.
19 "Ef yw'r cyntaf o'r pethau a wnaeth Duw; gwnaed ef yn deyrn dros ei gymrodyr.
19He is the chief of ùGod's ways: he that made him gave him his sword.
20 Y mae'r mynyddoedd yn darparu ysglyfaeth iddo; yr holl anifeiliaid sy'n chwarae yno.
20For the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21 Fe orwedd dan y lotus, a chuddio yn y brwyn a'r corsydd.
21He lieth under lotus-bushes, in the covert of the reed and fen:
22 Y mae'r lotus yn gysgod drosto, a helyg yn y nant yn ei guddio.
22Lotus-bushes cover him with their shade; the willows of the brook surround him.
23 Os cyfyd yr afon drosto, ni chynhyrfa; byddai'n ddifraw pe bai'r Iorddonen yn llifo i'w geg.
23Lo, the river overfloweth -- he startleth not: he is confident though a Jordan break forth against his mouth.
24 A ellir ei fachu yn ei lygaid, a gwthio tryfer i'w drwyn?
24Shall he be taken in front? will they pierce through [his] nose in the trap?
