1 Nid i ni, O ARGLWYDD, nid i ni, ond i'th enw dy hun, rho ogoniant, er mwyn dy gariad a'th ffyddlondeb.
1Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth's sake.
2 Pam y mae'r cenhedloedd yn dweud, "Ple mae eu Duw?"
2Wherefore should the nations say, Where then is their God?
3 Y mae ein Duw ni yn y nefoedd; fe wna beth bynnag a ddymuna.
3But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased.
4 Arian ac aur yw eu delwau hwy, ac wedi eu gwneud � dwylo dynol.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands:
5 Y mae ganddynt enau nad ydynt yn siarad, a llygaid nad ydynt yn gweld;
5They have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not;
6 y mae ganddynt glustiau nad ydynt yn clywed, a ffroenau nad ydynt yn arogli;
6They have ears, and they hear not; a nose have they, and they smell not;
7 y mae ganddynt ddwylo nad ydynt yn teimlo, a thraed nad ydynt yn cerdded; ac ni ddaw su373?n o'u gyddfau.
7They have hands, and they handle not; feet have they, and they walk not; they give no sound through their throat.
8 Y mae eu gwneuthurwyr yn mynd yn debyg iddynt, ac felly hefyd bob un sy'n ymddiried ynddynt.
8They that make them are like unto them, -- every one that confideth in them.
9 O Israel, ymddirieda yn yr ARGLWYDD. Ef yw eu cymorth a'u tarian.
9O Israel, confide thou in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.
10 O du375? Aaron, ymddiriedwch yn yr ARGLWYDD. Ef yw eu cymorth a'u tarian.
10House of Aaron, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.
11 Chwi sy'n ofni'r ARGLWYDD, ymddiriedwch yn yr ARGLWYDD. Ef yw eu cymorth a'u tarian.
11Ye that fear Jehovah, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.
12 Y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn ein cofio ac yn ein bendithio; fe fendithia du375? Israel, fe fendithia du375? Aaron,
12Jehovah hath been mindful of us: he will bless, he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;
13 fe fendithia'r rhai sy'n ofni'r ARGLWYDD, y bychan a'r mawr fel ei gilydd.
13He will bless them that fear Jehovah, both the small and the great.
14 Bydded yr ARGLWYDD yn eich amlhau, chwi a'ch plant hefyd.
14Jehovah will add unto you more, unto you and unto your children.
15 Bydded ichwi gael bendith gan yr ARGLWYDD a wnaeth nefoedd a daear.
15Ye are blessed of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.
16 Y nefoedd, eiddo'r ARGLWYDD yw, ond fe roes y ddaear i ddynolryw.
16The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17 Nid yw'r meirw yn moliannu'r ARGLWYDD, na'r holl rai sy'n mynd i lawr i dawelwch.
17The dead praise not Jah, neither any that go down into silence;
18 Ond yr ydym ni'n bendithio'r ARGLWYDD yn awr a hyd byth. Molwch yr ARGLWYDD.
18But *we* will bless Jah from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah!
