Psalms

64

1 1 I'r Cyfarwyddwr: Salm. I Ddafydd.0 Clyw fy llais, O Dduw, wrth imi gwyno; achub fy mywyd rhag arswyd y gelyn,
1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Hear, O God, my voice in my plaint; preserve my life from fear of the enemy:
2 cuddia fi rhag cynllwyn rhai drygionus a rhag dichell gwneuthurwyr drygioni
2Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous crowd of the workers of iniquity,
3 rhai sy'n hogi eu tafod fel cleddyf, ac yn anelu eu geiriau chwerw fel saethau,
3Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword, [and] have aimed their arrow, a bitter word;
4 i saethu'r dieuog o'r dirgel, i saethu'n sydyn a di-ofn.
4That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Y maent yn glynu wrth eu bwriad drwg, ac yn sn am osod maglau o'r golwg, a dweud, "Pwy all ein gweld?"
5They encourage themselves in an evil matter, they concert to hide snares; they say, Who will see them?
6 Y maent yn dyfeisio drygioni, ac yn cuddio'u dyfeisiadau; y mae'r galon a'r meddwl dynol yn ddwfn!
6They devise iniquities: We have it ready, the plan is diligently sought out. And each one's inward [thought] and heart is deep.
7 Ond bydd Duw'n eu saethu 'i saeth; yn sydyn y daw eu cwymp.
7But God will shoot an arrow at them: suddenly are they wounded;
8 Bydd yn eu dymchwel oherwydd eu tafod, a bydd pawb sy'n eu gweld yn ysgwyd eu pennau.
8By their own tongue they are made to fall over one another: all that see them shall flee away.
9 Daw ofn ar bawb, a byddant yn adrodd am waith Duw, ac yn deall yr hyn a wnaeth.
9And all men shall fear, and shall declare God's doing; and they shall wisely consider his work.
10 Bydded i'r cyfiawn lawenhau yn yr ARGLWYDD, a llochesu ynddo, a bydded i'r holl rai uniawn orfoleddu.
10The righteous shall rejoice in Jehovah, and trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
