Psalms

7

1 1 Siggaion. I Ddafydd, a ganodd i'r ARGLWYDD ynglu375?n Cus o Benjamin.0 O ARGLWYDD fy Nuw, ynot ti y llochesaf; gwared fi rhag fy holl erlidwyr, ac arbed fi,
1{Shiggaion of David, which he sang to Jehovah, concerning the words of Cush the Benjaminite.} Jehovah my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me;
2 rhag iddynt fy llarpio fel llew, a'm darnio heb neb i'm gwaredu.
2Lest he tear my soul like a lion, crushing it while there is no deliverer.
3 O ARGLWYDD fy Nuw, os gwneuthum hyn os oes twyll ar fy nwylo,
3Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 os telais ddrwg am dda i'm cyfaill, ac ysbeilio fy ngwrthwynebwr heb achos
4If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me;)
5 bydded i'm gelyn fy erlid a'm dal, bydded iddo sathru fy einioes i'r ddaear, a gosod f'anrhydedd yn y llwch. Sela.
5Let the enemy pursue after my soul, and take [it], and let him tread down my life to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.
6 Saf i fyny, O ARGLWYDD, yn dy ddig; cyfod yn erbyn llid fy ngelynion; deffro, fy Nuw, i drefnu barn.
6Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.
7 Bydded i'r bobloedd ymgynnull o'th amgylch; eistedd dithau'n oruchel uwch eu pennau.
7And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high.
8 O ARGLWYDD, sy'n barnu pobloedd, barna fi yn l fy nghyfiawnder, O ARGLWYDD, ac yn l y cywirdeb sydd ynof.
8Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.
9 Bydded diwedd ar ddrygioni'r drygionus, ond cadarnha di y cyfiawn, ti sy'n profi meddyliau a chalonnau, ti Dduw cyfiawn.
9Oh let the wrong of the wicked come to an end, and establish thou the righteous [man]; even thou that triest the hearts and reins, the righteous God.
10 Duw yw fy nharian, ef sy'n gwaredu'r cywir o galon.
10My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
11 Duw sydd farnwr cyfiawn, a Duw sy'n dedfrydu bob amser.
11God is a righteous judge, and a ùGod who is indignant all the day.
12 Yn wir, y mae'r drygionus yn hogi ei gleddyf eto, yn plygu ei fwa ac yn ei wneud yn barod;
12If one turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he hath bent his bow and made it ready,
13 y mae'n darparu ei arfau marwol, ac yn gwneud ei saethau'n danllyd.
13And he hath prepared for him instruments of death; his arrows hath he made burning.
14 Y mae'n feichiog o ddrygioni, yn cenhedlu niwed ac yn geni twyll.
14Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood:
15 Y mae'n cloddio pwll ac yn ei geibio, ac yn syrthio i'r twll a wnaeth.
15He digged a pit, and hollowed it out, and is fallen into the hole that he made.
16 Fe ddychwel ei niwed arno ef ei hun, ac ar ei ben ef y disgyn ei drais.
16His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
17 Diolchaf i'r ARGLWYDD am ei gyfiawnder, a chanaf fawl i enw'r ARGLWYDD Goruchaf.
17I will praise Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing forth the name of Jehovah the Most High.
