1{To the chief Musician. Upon the Gittith. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.} How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!
2 Yr wyf yn hiraethu, yn dyheu hyd at lewyg am gynteddau'r ARGLWYDD; y mae'r cyfan ohonof yn gweiddi'n llawen ar y Duw byw.
2My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living ùGod.
3 Cafodd hyd yn oed aderyn y to gartref, a'r wennol nyth iddi ei hun, lle mae'n magu ei chywion, wrth dy allorau di, O ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, fy Mrenin a'm Duw.
3Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she layeth her young, thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, my King and my God.
4 Gwyn eu byd y rhai sy'n trigo yn dy du375?, yn canu mawl i ti'n wastadol.
4Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be constantly praising thee. Selah.
5 Gwyn eu byd y rhai yr wyt ti'n noddfa iddynt, a ffordd y pererinion yn eu calon.
5Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee, -- they, in whose heart are the highways.
6 Wrth iddynt fynd trwy ddyffryn Baca fe'i c�nt yn ffynnon; bydd y glaw cynnar yn ei orchuddio � bendith.
6Passing through the valley of Baca, they make it a well-spring; yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.
7 �nt o nerth i nerth, a bydd Duw y duwiau yn ymddangos yn Seion.
7They go from strength to strength: [each one] will appear before God in Zion.
8 O ARGLWYDD Dduw'r Lluoedd, clyw fy ngweddi; gwrando arnaf, O Dduw Jacob. Sela.
8Jehovah, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9 Edrych ar ein tarian, O Dduw; rho ffafr i'th eneiniog.
9Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
10 Gwell yw diwrnod yn dy gynteddau di na mil gartref; gwell sefyll wrth y drws yn nhu375? fy Nuw na thrigo ym mhebyll drygioni.
10For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 Oherwydd haul a tharian yw'r ARGLWYDD Dduw; rhydd ras ac anrhydedd. Nid atal yr ARGLWYDD unrhyw ddaioni oddi wrth y rhai sy'n rhodio'n gywir.
11For Jehovah Elohim is a sun and shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 O ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, gwyn ei fyd y sawl sy'n ymddiried ynot.
12Jehovah of hosts, blessed is the man that confideth in thee!
