Acts

3

1 Yr oedd Pedr ac Ioan yn mynd i fyny i'r deml erbyn yr awr weddi, sef tri o'r gloch y prynhawn.
1Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour .
2 Ac yr oedd rhywrai'n dod dyn oedd yn gloff o'i enedigaeth, ac yn ei osod beunydd wrth borth y deml, yr un a elwid Y Porth Prydferth, i erfyn am gardod gan y rhai a fyddai'n mynd i mewn i'r deml.
2A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple.
3 Pan welodd hwn Pedr ac Ioan ar fynd i mewn i'r deml, gofynnodd am gael cardod.
3Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy.
4 Syllodd Pedr arno, ac Ioan yntau, a dywedodd, "Edrych arnom."
4Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
5 Gwyliodd yntau hwy, gan ddisgwyl cael rhywbeth ganddynt.
5He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Dywedodd Pedr, "Arian ac aur nid oes gennyf; ond yr hyn sydd gennyf, hynny yr wyf yn ei roi iti; yn enw Iesu Grist o Nasareth, cod a cherdda."
6But Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
7 A gafaelodd ynddo gerfydd ei law dde, a chododd ef. Ac ar unwaith cryfhaodd ei draed a'i fferau;
7He took him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
8 neidiodd i fyny, safodd, a dechreuodd gerdded, ac aeth i mewn gyda hwy i'r deml dan gerdded a neidio a moli Duw.
8Leaping up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
9 Gwelodd yr holl bobl ef yn cerdded ac yn moli Duw.
9All the people saw him walking and praising God.
10 Yr oeddent yn sylweddoli mai hwn oedd y dyn a fyddai'n eistedd i gardota wrth Borth Prydferth y deml, a llanwyd hwy braw a syndod am yr hyn oedd wedi digwydd iddo.
10They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11 Tra oedd ef yn gafael yn Pedr ac Ioan, rhedodd yr holl bobl ynghyd atynt i'r fan a elwir yn Gloestr Solomon, wedi eu syfrdanu.
11As the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
12 A phan welodd Pedr hyn, fe anerchodd y bobl: "Chwi Israeliaid, pam yr ydych yn rhyfeddu at hyn? Pam yr ydych yn syllu arnom ni, fel petaem wedi peri iddo gerdded trwy ein nerth neu ein duwioldeb ni ein hunain?
12When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk?
13 Duw Abraham a Duw Isaac a Duw Jacob, Duw ein tadau ni, sydd wedi gogoneddu ei Was Iesu, yr hwn a draddodasoch chwi a'i wadu gerbron Pilat, wedi i hwnnw benderfynu ei ryddhau.
13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
14 Eithr chwi, gwadasoch yr Un sanctaidd a chyfiawn, a deisyf, fel ffafr i chwi, ryddhau llofrudd.
14But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
15 Lladdasoch Awdur bywyd, ond cyfododd Duw ef oddi wrth y meirw. O hyn yr ydym ni'n dystion.
15and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.
16 Ar sail ffydd yn ei enw ef y cyfnerthwyd y dyn yma yr ydych yn ei weld a'i adnabod, a'r ffydd sydd drwy Iesu a roddodd iddo'r llwyr wellhad hwn yn eich gu373?ydd chwi i gyd.
16By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 Yn awr, frodyr, gwn mai gweithredu mewn anwybodaeth a wnaethoch, fel eich llywodraethwyr hwythau.
17“Now, brothers , I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18 Ond fel hyn y cyflawnodd Duw yr hyn a ragfynegodd drwy enau'r holl broffwydi, sef dioddefaint ei Feseia.
18But the things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
19 Edifarhewch, ynteu, a throwch at Dduw, er mwyn dileu eich pechodau. Felly y daw oddi wrth yr Arglwydd dymhorau adnewyddiad,
19“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
20 ac yr anfona ef y Meseia a benodwyd i chwi, sef Iesu,
20and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,
21 yr hwn y mae'n rhaid i'r nef ei dderbyn hyd amseroedd adferiad pob peth a lefarodd Duw trwy enau ei broffwydi sanctaidd erioed.
21whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.
22 Dywedodd Moses, 'Bydd yr Arglwydd eich Duw yn codi i chwi o blith eich cyd-genedl broffwyd, fel fi. Arno ef yr ydych i wrando ym mhob peth a lefara wrthych.
22For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
23 A phob enaid na wrendy ar y proffwyd hwnnw, fe'i llwyr ddifodir o blith y bobl.'
23It will be, that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
24 A'r holl broffwydi o Samuel a'i olynwyr, cynifer ag a lefarodd, cyhoeddasant hwythau y dyddiau hyn.
24Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.
25 Chwi yw plant y proffwydi, a phlant y cyfamod a wnaeth Duw 'ch tadau pan ddywedodd wrth Abraham, 'Yn dy ddisgynyddion di y bendithir holl dylwythau'r ddaear.'
25You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘In your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed.’
26 Wedi i Dduw gyfodi ei Was, anfonodd ef atoch chwi yn gyntaf, i'ch bendithio chwi trwy eich troi bob un oddi wrth eich drygioni."
26God, having raised up his servant, Jesus, sent him to you first, to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from your wickedness.”
