¹ Fy enaid, bendithia'r ARGLWYDD. O ARGLWYDD fy Nuw, mawr iawn wyt ti; yr wyt wedi dy wisgo ag ysblander ac anrhydedd,

¹Bless Yahweh, my soul. Yahweh, my God, you are very great. You are clothed with honor and majesty.

² a'th orchuddio � goleuni fel mantell. Yr wyt yn taenu'r nefoedd fel pabell,

²He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.

³ yn gosod tulathau dy balas ar y dyfroedd, yn cymryd y cymylau'n gerbyd, yn marchogaeth ar adenydd y gwynt,

³He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.

⁴ yn gwneud y gwyntoedd yn negeswyr, a'r fflamau t�n yn weision.

⁴He makes his messengers or, angels winds; his servants flames of fire.

⁵ Gosodaist y ddaear ar ei sylfeini, fel na fydd yn symud byth bythoedd;

⁵He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever.

⁶ gwnaethost i'r dyfnder ei gorchuddio fel dilledyn, ac y mae dyfroedd yn sefyll goruwch y mynyddoedd.

⁶You covered it with the deep as with a cloak. The waters stood above the mountains.

⁷ Gan dy gerydd di fe ffoesant, gan su373?n dy daranau ciliasant draw,

⁷At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.

⁸ a chodi dros fynyddoedd a disgyn i'r dyffrynnoedd, i'r lle a bennaist ti iddynt;

⁸The mountains rose, the valleys sank down, to the place which you had assigned to them.

⁹ rhoist iddynt derfyn nad ydynt i'w groesi, rhag iddynt ddychwelyd a gorchuddio'r ddaear.

⁹You have set a boundary that they may not pass over; that they don’t turn again to cover the earth.

¹⁰ Yr wyt yn gwneud i ffynhonnau darddu mewn hafnau, yn gwneud iddynt lifo rhwng y mynyddoedd;

¹⁰He sends forth springs into the valleys. They run among the mountains.

¹¹ rh�nt ddiod i holl fwystfilod y maes, a chaiff asynnod gwyllt eu disychedu;

¹¹They give drink to every animal of the field. The wild donkeys quench their thirst.

¹² y mae adar y nefoedd yn nythu yn eu hymyl, ac yn trydar ymysg y canghennau.

¹²The birds of the sky nest by them. They sing among the branches.

¹³ Yr wyt yn dyfrhau'r mynyddoedd o'th balas; digonir y ddaear trwy dy ddarpariaeth.

¹³He waters the mountains from his rooms. The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.

¹⁴ Yr wyt yn gwneud i'r gwellt dyfu i'r gwartheg, a phlanhigion at wasanaeth pobl, i ddwyn allan fwyd o'r ddaear,

¹⁴He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food out of the earth:

¹⁵ a gwin i lonni calonnau pobl, olew i ddisgleirio'u hwynebau, a bara i gynnal eu calonnau.

¹⁵wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengthens man’s heart.

¹⁶ Digonir y coedydd cryfion, y cedrwydd Lebanon a blannwyd,

¹⁶Yahweh’s trees are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;

¹⁷ lle mae'r adar yn nythu, a'r ciconia yn cartrefu yn eu brigau.

¹⁷where the birds make their nests. The stork makes its home in the fir trees.

¹⁸ Y mae'r mynyddoedd uchel ar gyfer geifr, ac y mae'r clogwyni yn lloches i'r brochod.

¹⁸The high mountains are for the wild goats. The rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.

¹⁹ Yr wyt yn gwneud i'r lleuad nodi'r tymhorau, ac i'r haul wybod pryd i fachlud.

¹⁹He appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows when to set.

²⁰ Trefnaist dywyllwch, fel bod nos, a holl anifeiliaid y goedwig yn ymlusgo allan,

²⁰You make darkness, and it is night, in which all the animals of the forest prowl.

²¹ gyda'r llewod ifanc yn rhuo am ysglyfaeth, ac yn ceisio eu bwyd oddi wrth Dduw.

²¹The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.

²² Ond pan gyfyd yr haul, y maent yn mynd ymaith, ac yn gorffwyso yn eu ffeuau.

²²The sun rises, and they steal away, and lay down in their dens.

²³ A daw pobl allan i weithio, ac at eu llafur hyd yr hwyrnos.

²³Man goes forth to his work, to his labor until the evening.

²⁴ Mor niferus yw dy weithredoedd, O ARGLWYDD! Gwnaethost y cyfan mewn doethineb; y mae'r ddaear yn llawn o'th greaduriaid.

²⁴Yahweh, how many are your works! In wisdom have you made them all. The earth is full of your riches.

²⁵ Dyma'r m�r mawr a llydan, gydag ymlusgiaid dirifedi a chreaduriaid bach a mawr.

²⁵There is the sea, great and wide, in which are innumerable living things, both small and large animals.

²⁶ Arno y mae'r llongau yn tramwyo, a Lefiathan, a greaist i chwarae ynddo.

²⁶There the ships go, and leviathan, whom you formed to play there.

²⁷ Y mae'r cyfan ohonynt yn dibynnu arnat ti i roi iddynt eu bwyd yn ei bryd.

²⁷These all wait for you, that you may give them their food in due season.

²⁸ Pan roddi iddynt, y maent yn ei gasglu ynghyd; pan agori dy law, c�nt eu diwallu'n llwyr.

²⁸You give to them; they gather. You open your hand; they are satisfied with good.

²⁹ Ond pan guddi dy wyneb, fe'u drysir; pan gymeri eu hanadl, fe ddarfyddant, a dychwelyd i'r llwch.

²⁹You hide your face: they are troubled; you take away their breath: they die, and return to the dust.

³⁰ Pan anfoni dy anadl, c�nt eu creu, ac yr wyt yn adnewyddu wyneb y ddaear.

³⁰You send forth your Spirit: they are created. You renew the face of the ground.

³¹ Bydded gogoniant yr ARGLWYDD dros byth, a bydded iddo lawenhau yn ei weithredoedd.

³¹Let the glory of Yahweh endure forever. Let Yahweh rejoice in his works.

³² Pan yw'n edrych ar y ddaear, y mae'n crynu; pan yw'n cyffwrdd �'r mynyddoedd, y maent yn mygu.

³²He looks at the earth, and it trembles. He touches the mountains, and they smoke.

³³ Canaf i'r ARGLWYDD tra byddaf byw, rhof foliant i Dduw tra byddaf.

³³I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.

³⁴ Bydded fy myfyrdod yn gymeradwy ganddo; yr wyf yn llawenhau yn yr ARGLWYDD.

³⁴Let your meditation be sweet to him. I will rejoice in Yahweh.

³⁵ Bydded i'r pechaduriaid ddarfod o'r tir, ac na fydded y drygionus mwyach. Fy enaid, bendithia'r ARGLWYDD. Molwch yr ARGLWYDD.

³⁵Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. Let the wicked be no more. Bless Yahweh, my soul. Praise Yah!
