1ای جان من خداوند را ستایش کن، ای تمام وجود من نام مقدس او را متبارک بخوان.
1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2ای جان من خداوند را ستایش کن و مهربانی های او را از یاد نبر.
2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3او تمام گناهانت را می بخشد و همۀ مرض های ترا شفا می دهد.
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4ترا از مرگ می رهاند و تاج رحمت و شفقت خود را بر سر تو می نهد.
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5جان ترا از نعمت های خود سیر می کند تا جوانی تو مثل عقاب تازه شود.
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6خداوند عدالت را به جا می آورد و انصاف را برای همۀ مظلومان.
6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7طریق های خود را به موسی تعلیم داد و اعمال خود را به بنی اسرائیل.
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8خداوند بخشنده و مهربان است، دیر غضب و بسیار رحیم.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9تا به ابد محاکمه نمی کند و خشم را همیشه نگاه نخواهد داشت.
9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10با ما موافق گناهان ما عمل ننموده و ما را مطابق خطاهائی ما جزا نداده است،
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11زیرا آنقدر که آسمان از زمین بلندتر است، به همان قدر رحمت او بر ترسندگانش عظیم است.
11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12به اندازه ای که مشرق از مغرب دور است، گناهان ما را از ما دور می کند.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13چنانکه پدر بر فرزندان خود رحیم است، خداوند هم بر ترسندگان خود شفقت می نماید.
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14خداوند از سرشت ما آگاه است و می داند که خاک هستیم.
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15روزهای عمر انسان مثل گیاه است و مانند گل صحر می شگفد.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16وقتی باد بر آن می وزد، نابود می شود و مکانش دیگر آن را نمی شناسد.
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17لیکن رحمت خداوند بر ترسندگانش از ازل تا به ابد است و عدالت او بر فرزندانِ فرزندان شان
17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18و بر آنانی که عهد او را حفظ می کنند و فرایض او را یاد می دارند تا آن ها را بجا آورند.
18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19خداوند تخت خود را در آسمان ها برقرار نموده و بر همه سلطنت می کند.
19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20خداوند را متبارک خوانید، ای فرشتگان او که در قوّت زورآورید و آواز کلام او را می شنوید و به جا می آورید.
20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21ای تمام لشکرهای او، خداوند را ستایش کنید و ای خادمان او که ارادۀ او را به جا می آورید!ای همۀ کارهای خداوند، او را در همه جاهای سلطنت او متبارک خوانید! ای جان من خداوند را ستایش کن.
21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22ای همۀ کارهای خداوند، او را در همه جاهای سلطنت او متبارک خوانید! ای جان من خداوند را ستایش کن.
22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
