¹ای خداوند از عمق ها نزد تو فریاد بر می آورم.

¹Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

²ای خداوند! آواز مرا بشنو و گوشهای تو به آواز عذر و زاری من متوجه شود.

²Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

³ای خداوند، اگر گناهان را به نظر آوری، کیست که به حضور تو ای خداوند تواند ایستاد؟

³If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

⁴لیکن آمرزش نزد توست تا از تو بترسند.

⁴But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

⁵منتظر خداوند هستم. جان من منتظر است و به کلام او امیدوارم.

⁵I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

⁶جان من منتظر خداوند است، زیاده از منتظران صبح، بلی زیاده از منتظران صبح.

⁶My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

⁷اسرائیل برای خداوند امیدوار باشد زیرا که رحمت نزد خداوند است و نزد اوست نجات فراوان.او اسرائیل را از تمام گناهان وی رهایی می دهد.

⁷Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

⁸او اسرائیل را از تمام گناهان وی رهایی می دهد.

⁸And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
