¹هَلّلِویاه، سپاس به خداوند، چه نیکوست که برای خدای خود سرود بسرائیم و چقدر دلپذیر که او را ستایش کنیم!

¹Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

²خداوند اورشلیم را بنا می کند و پراگنده شدگان اسرائیل را جمع می نماید.

²The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

³شکسته دلان را شفا می دهد و زخم های ایشان را می بندد.

³He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

⁴خداوند شماره و تعداد ستارگان را می داند و هر کدام آن ها را به نام می شناسد.

⁴He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

⁵خداوند ما بزرگ است و قوّت او عظیم و حکمت وی بی نهایت.

⁵Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

⁶خداوند مسکینان را بر می افرازد و شریران را به زمین می اندازد.

⁶The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

⁷خداوند را با سرود سپاسگزاری بپرستید، و با نوای رباب برای خدای ما نغمه بنوازید.

⁷Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

⁸او آسمان ها را با ابر ها می پوشاند، باران را برای زمین مهیا می نماید و گیاه را بر کوهها می رویاند.

⁸Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

⁹او حیوانات را آذوقه می دهد و زاغچه ها را وقتی روزی می خواهند، تغذیه می کند.

⁹He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

¹⁰در قوّت اسپ رغبت ندارد و از نیروی پای انسان راضی نمی باشد.

¹⁰He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

¹¹رضامندی خداوند از ترسندگان وی است و از آنانی که به رحمت وی امیدوارند.

¹¹The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

¹²ای اورشلیم، خداوند را شکر کن. ای سهیون، خدای خود را ستایش کن.

¹²Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

¹³زیرا که پشت بندهای دروازه هایت را مستحکم کرده و ساکنین ترا برکت می دهد.

¹³For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

¹⁴به سرحدات تو صلح می آورد و تو را از بهترین گندم سیر می کند.

¹⁴He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

¹⁵فرمان خود را به زمین می فرستد و کلام او با سرعت پخش می گردد.

¹⁵He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

¹⁶زمین را با لحاف برف می پوشاند و باران یخ را مانند گَرد می پاشد.

¹⁶He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

¹⁷ژاله را مثل سنگریزه می فرستد و کیست که طاقت سرمای آن را داشته باشد؟

¹⁷He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

¹⁸کلام خود را می فرستند و به امر او یخها آب می شوند، باد می وزد و آب به جریان می آید.

¹⁸He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

¹⁹کلام خود را به یعقوب بیان کرده و احکام و داوری های خود را به اسرائیل.با هیچ قوم دیگری چنین نکرده است و داوری های او را نمی دانند. هَلّلِویاه، سپاس به خداوند!

¹⁹He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

²⁰با هیچ قوم دیگری چنین نکرده است و داوری های او را نمی دانند. هَلّلِویاه، سپاس به خداوند!

²⁰He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
