1زمین و همه چیزی که در آن است به خداوند تعلق دارد. او مالک جهان و همه موجودات آن است.
1The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2زیرا که او اساس زمین را بر بحرها نهاد و آنرا بر دریاها استوار کرد.
2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3کیست که به کوه خداوند بالا رود؟ و کیست که به جایگاه مقدس او داخل شود؟
3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4آن کسی که دستش به گناه آلوده نشده دل پاک داشته باشد. آن کسی که بت پرستی نمی کند و قسم دروغ نمی خورد.
4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5آن شخص برکت را از خداوند دریافت می کند و عدالت را از خدای نجات خود.
5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6این است کسی که جویای خداوند می باشد، جویای روی تو ای خدای یعقوب.
6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7ای دروازه ها باز شوید! ای در های ابدی بگشائید، تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود.
7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ او خداوند قادر متعال است که در جنگها شکست نمی خورد.
8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9ای دروازه ها باز شوید! ای در های ابدی بگشائید، تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود.این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ او خداوند قادر مطلق و همان پادشاه جلال است!
9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
