¹نافرمانی انسان شریر آشکار می کند که ترس خدا مد نظر او نیست.

¹The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

²آنقدر خودخواه و مغرور شده است که فکر می کند گناهش آشکار نمی شود و کسی او را متهم نمی کند.

²For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

³سخنان زبانش شرارت و فریب است. از فهم دور شده و از نیکوکاری دست کشیده است.

³The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

⁴در بستر خود شرارت را تفکر می کند، راه نادرست را عادت خود ساخته و از بدی نفرت ندارد.

⁴He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

⁵ای خداوند، رحمت تو تا به آسمان ها می رسد و وفاداری تو مافوق ابر ها.

⁵Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

⁶عدالت تو مانند کوهها پابرجا است و احکام تو عمیق تر از عمق های زمین. ای خداوند، تو مددگار انسانها و حیوانات هستی.

⁶Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

⁷ای خدا رحمت تو چقدر عالی و با ارزش است. آدمیان در سایۀ بالهای تو پناه می برند.

⁷How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

⁸همه از نعمت تو برخوردار می شوند و از دریای رحمت تو می نوشند.

⁸They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

⁹تو سرچشمۀ زندگی هستی و در نور تو روشنی را می بینیم.

⁹For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

¹⁰رحمت تو همیشه بر آنانی که تو را می شناسند باقی بماند و عدالت تو پیوسته همراه راستدلان باشد.

¹⁰O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹مگذار که پایمال اشخاص مغرور گردم و یا دست شریران مرا مجبور به فرار سازد.ببینید که چگونه بدکاران افتاده اند! آن ها طوری سقوط کرده اند که دیگر نمی توانند برخاست.

¹¹Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

¹²There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
