¹ای خداوند، سخنان مرا بشنو و به تفکر من توجه فرما!

¹Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

²ای پادشاه و خدای من، به فریاد من گوش بده. زیرا به دربار تو دعا می کنم.

²Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

³ای خداوند، سحرگاهان آواز مرا می شنوی؛ هر صبح به دربار تو دعا می کنم و مشتاقانه انتظار می کشم.

³My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

⁴تو ای خدا، از گناه بیزار هستی و شرارت را تحمل نمی کنی.

⁴For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

⁵متکبران در پیشگاه تو نمی ایستند و از همۀ شریران نفرت داری.

⁵The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

⁶دروغگویان را نابود می سازی و از مردم قاتل و فریبکار بیزار هستی.

⁶Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

⁷اما من بخاطر رحمت عظیم تو، به خانۀ تو داخل می شوم و تو را در عبادتگاه مقدست با ترس و احترام عبادت می کنم.

⁷But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

⁸ای خداوند، به سبب دشمنانم مرا به عدالت خود هدایت نما و راه خود را پیش روی من راست گردان.

⁸Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

⁹زیرا در زبان ایشان راستی نیست و دل شان از شرارت پُر است. گلوی ایشان قبر گشاده و زبانهای شان پُر از ریا و فریب است.

⁹For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

¹⁰ای خدا، آن ها را گناهکار شمرده در دام خود شان گرفتار کن. بخاطر خطایای زیاد شان، آن ها را دور انداز زیرا بر ضد تو برخاسته اند.

¹⁰Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

¹¹لیکن همه کسانی که به تو پناه می آورند شاد و مسرور بوده، تو را تا به ابد ستایش می کنند، زیرا تو پناهگاه آن ها هستی و آنهائی که اسم تو را دوست دارند در تو خوشی می نمایند.زیرا تو ای خداوند راستکاران را برکت می دهی و به رضامندی مانند سپر از آن ها دفاع می کنی.

¹¹But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

¹²زیرا تو ای خداوند راستکاران را برکت می دهی و به رضامندی مانند سپر از آن ها دفاع می کنی.

¹²For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
