¹خداوند پادشاه است، پس زمین خوشی کند و جمیع جزیره ها شادمان باشند.

¹The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

²ابر ها و ظلمتِ غلیظ گرداگرد اوست. عدالت و انصاف اساس تخت اوست.

²Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

³آتش در پیشروی او می رود و دشمنانش را که در اطراف او هستند، می سوزاند.

³A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

⁴برقهای او جهان را روشن می کند و زمین آنرا می بیند و به لرزه می آید.

⁴His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

⁵کوهها در حضور خداوند گداخته می شوند، در حضور خداوند تمام جهان.

⁵The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁶آسمان ها عدالت او را اعلام می کنند و همه اقوام جهان جلال او را می بینند.

⁶The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

⁷تمام بت پرستان خجل و شرمنده می شوند، زیرا آن ها به بتهای خود می بالند. ای جمیع خدایانِ امت ها، در حضور خداوند سجده کنید.

⁷Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

⁸سهیون این را می شنود و شادمان می شود و شهرهای یهودا مسرور می گردند. به سبب داوری های تو، ای خداوند.

⁸Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

⁹زیرا که تو ای خداوند بر تمامی روی زمین متعال هستی و برتر از همه خدایان.

⁹For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

¹⁰ای شما که خداوند را دوست دارید، از بدی نفرت کنید. او حافظ جانهای مقدسان خود می باشد و آن ها را از دست شریران نجات می دهد.

¹⁰Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹¹نور بر عادلان می تابد و شادمانی برای راستکاران.ای عادلان، در خداوند شادمان باشید و نام مقدس او را سپاس گوئید.

¹¹Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

¹²ای عادلان، در خداوند شادمان باشید و نام مقدس او را سپاس گوئید.

¹²Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
