1And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

3And Bela had sons: Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,

6-- And these are the sons of Ehud (these were the chief fathers of the inhabitants of Geba; and they carried them away to Manahath;

7even Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera; he removed them), and he begot Uzza and Ahihud.
7すなわちナアマン、アヒヤ、ゲラすなわちヘグラム。ゲラはウザとアヒフデの父であった。
8And Shaharaim begot [children] in the land of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.
8シャハライムは妻ホシムとバアラを離別してのち、モアブの国で子らをもうけた。
9And he begot of Hodesh his wife: Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
9彼が妻ホデシによってもうけた子らはヨバブ、ヂビア、メシャ、マルカム、
10and Jeuz, and Shobia, and Mirmah; these were his sons, chief fathers.
10エウヅ、シャキヤ、ミルマ。これらはその子らであって氏族の長である。
11And of Hushim he begot Abitub, and Elpaal.
11彼はまたホシムによってアビトブとエルパアルをもうけた。
12And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemer, who built Ono, and Lod and its dependent villages;

13and Beriah, and Shema, who were chief fathers of the inhabitants of Ajalon; they drove away the inhabitants of Gath.

14And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

15and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder,

16and Michael, and Jishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

17And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hiski, and Heber,

18and Jishmerai, and Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

19And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,

20and Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,
20エリエナイ、チルタイ、エリエル、
21and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
21アダヤ、ベラヤおよびシムラテはシマの子らであった。
22And Jishpah, and Eber, and Eliel,
22イシパン、ヘベル、エリエル、
23and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
23アブドン、ジクリ、ハナン、
24and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
24ハナニヤ、エラム、アントテヤ、
25and Jiphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
25イペデヤおよびペヌエルはシャシャクの子らであった。
26And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
26シャムセライ、シハリア、アタリヤ、
27and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
27ヤレシャ、エリヤおよびジクリはエロハムの子らであった。
28These were the chief fathers, according to their generations, principal men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
28これらは歴代の氏族の長であり、またかしらであって、エルサレムに住んだ。
29And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; and his wife's name was Maachah.
29ギベオンの父エイエルはギベオンに住み、その妻の名はマアカといった。
30And his son, the firstborn, was Abdon; and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
30その長子はアブドンで、次はツル、キシ、バアル、ナダブ、
31and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

32And Mikloth begot Shimeah. And these also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.
32およびミクロテ。ミクロテはシメアを生んだ。これらもまた兄弟たちと向かいあってエルサレムに住んだ。
33And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
33ネルはキシを生み、キシはサウルを生み、サウルはヨナタン、マルキシュア、アビナダブ、エシバアルを生んだ。
34And the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

35And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
35ミカの子らはピトン、メレク、タレア、アハズである。
36And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;
36アハズはエホアダを生み、エホアダはアレメテ、アズマウテ、ジムリを生み、ジムリはモザを生み、
37and Moza begot Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
37モザはビネアを生んだ。ビネアの子はラパ、ラパの子はエレアサ、エレアサの子はアゼルである。
38And Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were sons of Azel.
38アゼルには六人の子があり、その名はアズリカム、ボケル、イシマエル、シャリヤ、オバデヤ、ハナンで、皆アゼルの子である。
39And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
39その兄弟エセクの子らは、長子はウラム、次はエウシ、第三はエリペレテである。ウラムの子らは大勇士で、よく弓を射る者であった。彼は多くの子と孫をもち、百五十人もあった。これらは皆ベニヤミンの子孫である。
40And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and they had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
40ウラムの子らは大勇士で、よく弓を射る者であった。彼は多くの子と孫をもち、百五十人もあった。これらは皆ベニヤミンの子孫である。
