1And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
1[Ny teny fanindroany nataon'i Bildada] Dia namaly Bildada Sohita ka nanao hoe:
2How long will ye hunt for words? Be intelligent, and then we will speak.
2Mandra-pahoviana no hamandrika teny ianareo? Mba hendre aloha, dia vao hiteny izahay.
3Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed stupid in your sight?
3Sao ataonareo ho biby anie izahay ka tahaka ny maloto eo imasonareo?
4Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of its place?
4Ry ilay mamiravira tena amin'ny fahatezerana, noho ny aminao va no hahatonga ny tany ho lao, ary ny vatolampy hafindra hiala amin'ny fitoerany?
5Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the flame of his fire shall not shine.
5Tsy izany, fa ho faty ny jiron'ny ratsy fanahy, ary hilopilopy ny lelafony;
6The light shall become dark in his tent, and his lamp over him shall be put out.
6Ny mazava manjary maizina ao amin'ny lainy, ary ny jirony eo amboniny dia maty.
7The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
7Etena ny herin'ny diany, ary ny fisainany ihany no mandavo azy.
8For he is sent into the net by his own feet, and he walketh on the meshes;
8Fa ny tongony ihany no mahatonga azy eo amin'ny fandrika harato, ka manitsaka eo amin'ny harato izy;
9The gin taketh [him] by the heel, the snare layeth hold on him;
9Azon'ny fandrika ny ombelahin-tongony ary voahazon'ny tadivavarana
10A cord is hidden for him in the ground, and his trap in the way.

11Terrors make him afraid on every side, and chase him at his footsteps.
11Fampitahorana no mampitahotra azy manodidina ka mampivadi-po azy eny amin'ny alehany rehetra.
12His strength is hunger-bitten, and calamity is ready at his side.
12Liana azy ny loza, ary ny fandringanana dia vonona eo anilany;[Na: Lanin'ny mosary izy]
13The firstborn of death devoureth the members of his body; it will devour his members.
13Eny, laniny tsikelikely ny hodiny; ny momba ny tenany dia lanin'ny lahimatoan'ny fahafatesana.
14His confidence shall be rooted out of his tent, and it shall lead him away to the king of terrors:
14Ongotana hiala amin'ny lainy ny zavatra itokiany, ka tsy maintsy ho entina ho amin'ilay mpanjaka mampahatahotra indrindra izy.
15They who are none of his shall dwell in his tent; brimstone shall be showered upon his habitation:
15Izay tsy taranany no hitoetra ao amin'ny lainy; Solifara no hafafy amin'ny fonenany.
16His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off;
16Maina ny fakany ao ambany, ary tapaka ny rantsany eo ambony.[Na: malazo]
17His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name on the pasture-grounds.
17Ny fahatsiarovana azy dia very tsy ho eo amin'ny tany. Ary tsy malaza eny ivelany izy.
18He is driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
18Roahina hiala amin'ny mazava ho any amin'ny maizina izy ary enjehina hiala amin'izao tontolo izao.
19He hath neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining in the places of his sojourn.
19Tsy manana fara mandimby eo amin'ny fireneny izy, ka tsy misy tsy tratry ny loza ny ao amin'ny fonenany.
20They that come after shall be astonished at his day, as they that went before [them] were affrighted.
20Ny manjo azy dia italanjonan'ny any andrefana, ary ny any atsinanana raiki-tahotra.Izany tokoa no anjaran'ny ratsy fanahy, ary izany no manjo ny tsy mahalala an'Andriamanitra.
21Surely, such are the dwellings of the unrighteous man, and such the place of him that knoweth not ùGod.
