1And Zophar the Naamathite answered and said,
1[Ny teny fanindroany nataon'i Zofara] Dia namaly Zofara Namatita ka nanao hoe:
2Therefore do my thoughts give me an answer, and for this is my haste within me.
2Noho izany dia mamaly ahy ny eritreritro, eny, noho ny fihetsiketsiky ny saiko.[Na: Ary izany no mahatonga]
3I hear a reproof putting me to shame; and [my] spirit answereth me by mine understanding.
3Reko lalandava ny anatra mampahamenatra ahy; Ary ny fanahiko mamaly ahy avy amin'ny fahalalako.
4Knowest thou [not] this, that of old, since man was placed upon earth,
4Tsy fantatrao va fa hatramin'ny ela, eny, hatrizay nampitoerana ny olona tetỳ ambonin'ny tany,
5The exultation of the wicked is short, and the joy of the ungodly man but for a moment?
5Dia vetivety foana ny firavoravoan'ny ratsy fanahy, ary indray mipi-maso monja ny fifalian'ny mpihatsaravelatsihy?44
6Though his height mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds,
6Fa na dia mipaka amin'ny lanitra aza ny hahavony, ka mitehika amin'ny rahona ny lohany,
7Like his own dung doth he perish for ever; they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?
7Dia ho very mandrakizay toy ny dikiny ihany izy; Izay nahita azy dia hanao hoe: Aiza izy?[Na: ny tain'omby atainy]
8He flieth away as a dream, and is not found; and is chased away as a vision of the night.
8Manidina tahaka ny nofy izy ka tsy ho hita; Eny, ampandosirina tahaka ny tsindrimandry amin'ny alina izy.
9The eye which saw him shall [see him] not again; and his place beholdeth him no more.
9Ny maso izay mijery, dia indray mitopy ihany no ahitany azy; Ary dia tsy hahita azy intsony ny fitoerany.
10His children shall seek the favour of the poor, and his hands restore his wealth.
10Ny zanany hitambitamby amin'ny malahelo, ary ny tànany ihany no hampody ny hareny.
11His bones were full of his youthful strength; but it shall lie down with him in the dust.
11Ny taolany dia feno ny herin'ny fahatanorana, Nefa hiara-mandry aminy eo amin'ny vovoka izany.[Na: ota tsy fantatra]
12Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth [and] he hide it under his tongue,
12Na dia mamy ao am-bavany aza ny ratsy, ka afeniny ao ambanin'ny lelany,
13[Though] he spare it, and forsake it not, but keep it within his mouth,
13Ary tsitsiny ka tsy foiny, fa tehiriziny ao amin'ny lanilaniny ihany,
14His food is turned in his bowels; it is the gall of asps within him.
14Dia miova ny haniny ao an-kibony, ka aferon'ny vipera no ao anatiny.
15He hath swallowed down riches, but he shall vomit them up again: ùGod shall cast them out of his belly.
15Harena no nateliny, nefa aloany indray; Loaran'Andriamanitra hiala ao an-kibony izany.
16He shall suck the poison of asps; the viper's tongue shall kill him.
16Ny poizin'ny vipera no hotsentsefiny; Hahafaty azy ny lelan'ny menarana.
17He shall not see streams, rivers, brooks of honey and butter.
17Tsy ho faly mahita renirano izy, dia ony sy riaky ny tantely sy ronono.
18That which he laboured for shall he restore, and not swallow down; its restitution shall be according to the value, and he shall not rejoice [therein].
18Tsy azony atelina izay nikelezany aina, fa tsy maintsy hampodiny; Na dia be aza ny hareny, dia tsy ho araka izany ny hafaliany.
19For he hath oppressed, hath forsaken the poor; he hath violently taken away a house that he did not build.
19Fa nampahory sy nahafoy ny reraka izy ka naka trano an-keriny, fa tsy hahatontosa azy.
20Because he knew no rest in his craving, he shall save nought of what he most desired.
20Satria tsy mahalala mionona ny kibony, dia tsy hahavonjy ny tenany mbamin'ny tiany indrindra izy.
21Nothing escaped his greediness; therefore his prosperity shall not endure.
21Tsy misy tsy tratry ny fieremany; Ka dia tsy haharitra ny fiadanany.
22In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits; every hand of the wretched shall come upon him.
22Ho poriporitra izy, na dia mihoa-pampana aza ny fananany; Ny tanan'ny ory no hamely azy.
23It shall be that, to fill his belly, he will cast his fierce anger upon him, and will rain it upon him into his flesh.
23Halefan'Andriamanitra ny fahatezerany mirehitra hameno ny kibony; Eny, halatsany aminy toy ny ranonorana izany ho hanina ho azy.
24If he have fled from the iron weapon, the bow of brass shall strike him through.
24Raha mandositra ny vy fiadiana izy, dia hahavoa azy miboroaka ny tsipìka varahina;
25He draweth it forth; it cometh out of his body, and the glittering point out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
25Tsoahany izany, ka mivoaka avy amin'ny tenany; Eny, ny manelatselatra dia mivoaka avy amin'ny aferony; Lasa izy azon'ny fahatahorana mafy.
26All darkness is laid up for his treasures: a fire not blown shall devour him; it shall feed upon what is left in his tent.
26Ny aizim-pito no voarakitra ho amin'ny raki-malalany; Afo tsy tsofina no handoro azy sady handevona izay sisa ao amin'ny lainy.
27The heavens shall reveal his iniquity, and the earth shall rise up against him.
27Hambaran'ny lanitra ny helony, Ary ny tany hitsangana hiampanga azy,
28The increase of his house shall depart, flowing away in the day of his anger.
28Ho lasa ny harena tafiditra ao an-tranony; Eny, ho levona izany amin'ny andro fahatezerany.Izany no anjaran'ny ratsy fanahy avy amin'Andriamanitra, sy lova voatendrin'Andriamanitra ho azy.
29This is the portion of the wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed to him by ùGod.
