1And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
1[Ny teny voalohany nataon'i Bildada] Dia namaly Bildada Sohita ka nanao hoe:
2How long wilt thou speak these things? and the words of thy mouth be a strong wind?
2Mandra-pahoviana no hiteny toy izany ianao, ka ho rivotra mahery ny teny aloaky ny vavanao?
3Doth ùGod pervert judgment, and the Almighty pervert justice?
3Andriamanitra va hamadika ny fitsarana, na ny Tsitoha hamadika ny rariny?
4If thy children have sinned against him, he hath also given them over into the hand of their transgression.
4Raha nanota taminy ny zanakao, dia efa nampanodiaviny azy ny fahadisoany.
5If thou seek earnestly unto ùGod, and make thy supplication to the Almighty,
5Fa raha ianao kosa mandroso mitady an'Andriamanitra ka mifona amin'ny Tsitoha.
6If thou be pure and upright, surely now he will awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous;
6Ary raha madio sy mahitsy ianao, dia hifoha hamonjy anao tokoa Izy ary hampiadana indray ny fonenan'ny fahamarinanao,[Na: hiambina]
7And though thy beginning was small, yet thine end shall be very great.
7Ka na dia kely aza no niandohanao, dia ho lehibe indrindra no hiafaranao.
8For inquire, I pray thee, of the former generation, and attend to the researches of their fathers;
8Fa masìna ianao, anontanio ange ny ntaolo, ka fantaro ny hevitra hitan'ny razany
9For we are [but] of yesterday, and know nothing, for our days upon earth are a shadow.
9(Fa vao omaly isika ka tsy mba mahalala, fa aloka ihany ny androntsika etỳ ambonin'ny tany);
10Shall not they teach thee, [and] tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?
10Tsy ireny va no hampianatra anao ka hilaza aminao ary hamoaka teny avy ao am-pony?
11Doth the papyrus shoot up without mire? doth the reed-grass grow without water?
11Haniry va ny zozoro, raha tsy eny amin'ny fotaka? Hitrebona va ny harefo, raha tsy misy rano?
12Whilst it is yet in its greenness [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] grass.
12Mbola maitso izy sady tsy voajinja, kanefa malazo alohan'ny zava-maitso rehetra.
13So are the paths of all that forget ùGod; and the profane man's hope shall perish,
13Toy izany no lalan'izay rehetra manadino an'Andriamanitra; Ary ho very ny fanantenan'ny mpihatsaravelatsihy,[Na: ratsy fanahy]
14Whose confidence shall be cut off, and his reliance is a spider's web.
14Fa ho maito ny fanantenany, eny, ho tranon-kala ny tokiny.
15He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand; he shall lay hold on it, but it shall not endure.
15Miankina amin'ny tranony izy, kanjo tsy maharitra iny; Mihazona azy mafy izy, kanjo tsy mahazaka azy iny.
16He is full of sap before the sun, and his sprout shooteth forth over his garden;
16Mitsimoka tsara tandrifin'ny masoandro izy, ary ny rantsany misandrahaka eo amin'ny tanimboliny;
17His roots are entwined about the stoneheap; he seeth the place of stones.
17Mifelipelika mifaniditra eo amin'ny korontam-bato ny fakany ary mahazo any anelanelany;
18If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him: I have not seen thee!
18Kanjo nony fongorany hiala amin'ny fitoerany izy, dia handà azy izany ka hanao hoe: Tsy mbola nahita anao akory aho.
19Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the dust shall others grow.
19Indro, izany ihany no fifalian'ny lalan-kalehany; ary hisy hafa indray mitrebona avy amin'ny vovoka.
20Behold, ùGod will not cast off a perfect man, neither will he take evil-doers by the hand.
20Indro, Andriamanitra tsy hanary ny olona tsy manan-tsiny ary tsy hitantana ny mpanao ratsy;
21Whilst he would fill thy mouth with laughing and thy lips with shouting,
21Mbola hofenoiny hehy ny vavanao sy hoby ny molotrao.Izay mankahala anao hitafy henatra; Ary tsy hisy intsony ny lain'ny ratsy fanahy.
22They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked be no more.
