²He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be greatly moved.

²Izy tokoa no vatolampiko sy famonjena ahy, dia fiarovana avo ho ahy ka tsy hangozohozo loatra aho.

³How long will ye assail a man; will ye [seek], all of you, to break him down as a bowing wall or a tottering fence?

³Mandra-pahoviana no hirohotanareo hamely olona sy handrodananareo rehetra azy toy ny manda mirona sy ny rova mihozongozona;

⁴They only consult to thrust [him] down from his excellency; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but in their inward part they curse. Selah.

⁴Misaina hanongana azy hiala amin'ny voninahiny ireny; lainga no ifaliany, misaotra amin'ny vavany izy, fa manozona amin'ny fony.

⁵Upon God alone, O my soul, rest peacefully; for my expectation is from him.

⁵Miantombena amin'Andriamanitra tokoa ianao, ry fanahiko; fa Izy no antenaiko.

⁷With God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

⁷Andriamanitra no iankinan'ny famonjena ahy sy ny voninahitro; ny vatolampiko mafy sy ny aroko dia ao amin'Andriamanitra.

⁸Confide in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is our refuge. Selah.

⁸Matokia Azy mandrakariva ianareo, ry olona; loary eo anatrehany ny fonareo; Andriamanitra no aro ho antsika.

⁹Men of low degree are only vanity; men of high degree, a lie: laid in the balance, they go up together [lighter] than vanity.

⁹Zava-poana tokoa ny ambany, ary lainga ny ambony; raha hatao amin'ny mizana izy, dia maivana; zava-poana mihitsy izy.

¹⁰Put not confidence in oppression, and become not vain in robbery; if wealth increase, set not your heart upon it.

¹⁰Aza matoky ny fanaovana an-keriny, ary aza miantehitra amin'ny halatra; raha mitombo ny harena, dia aza anorenana ny fonareo.

¹¹Once hath God spoken, twice have I heard this, that strength [belongeth] unto God.

¹¹Indray mandeha no nitenenan'Andriamanitra; indroa no nandrenesako hoe: an'Andriamanitra ny hery.Ary Anao koa, ry Tompo ô, ny famindram-po, fa Hianao no mamaly ny olona rehetra araka ny asany avy.

¹²And unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] loving-kindness; for *thou* renderest to every man according to his work.
