¹But I make known to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand,

¹ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့အား ဟောပြော ဘူးသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ သင်တို့သည် ခံယူ၍ မှီဝဲဆည်းကပ် သော ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို သင်တို့အား တဖန် ငါကြား လိုက်၏။

²by which also ye are saved, (if ye hold fast the word which I announced to you as the glad tidings,) unless indeed ye have believed in vain.

²အထက်ကငါဟောပြောသည် အကြောင်းများကို သင်တို့သည် အကျိုးမဲ့မယုံဘဲစိတ်စွဲလမ်းလျှင်၊ ထိုဧဝံ ဂေလိတရားအားဖြင့် ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။

³For I delivered to you, in the first place, what also I had received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures;

³ငါသည် ကိုယ်တိုင်ခံယူသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်တို့အား ရှေ့ဦးစွာ အပ်ပေးသောအကြောင်းအရာဟူမူကား၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် ကျမ်းစာလာသည်အတိုင်း ငါတို့အပြစ်ကြောင့် အသေခံတော်မူ၏။

⁴and that he was buried; and that he was raised the third day, according to the scriptures;

⁴သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ပြီးမှ၊ ကျမ်းစာလာသည်အတိုင်း သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ ထမြောက်တော်မူ၏။

⁵and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

⁵ကေဖသည်ကိုယ်တော်ကို မြင်ပြီးမှ၊ တကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးသော သူတို့သည် မြင်ရကြ၏။

⁶Then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the most remain until now, but some also have fallen asleep.

⁶ထိုနောက် ညီအစ်ကိုငါးရာမက၊ တပြိုင်နက် မြင်ရကြ၏။ ထိုသူတို့တွင် အများသောသူတို့သည် ယခု တိုင်အောင် အသက်ရှင်ကြသေး၏။ အချို့တို့သည် အိပ်ပျော်ကြပြီ။

⁷Then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;

⁷ထိုနောက် ယာကုပ်မြင်ရ၏။ ထိုနောက် တမန် တော်အပေါင်းတို့သည် မြင်ရကြ၏။

⁸and last of all, as to an abortion, he appeared to *me* also.

⁸နောက်ဆုံး၌ အချိန်မတော်မတန်ဘွားသော သူကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်သော ငါပင်မြင်ရ၏။

⁹For *I* am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called apostle, because I have persecuted the assembly of God.

⁹ငါသည် အထက်ကဘုရားသခင်၏ အသင်းတော်ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲသောကြောင့်၊ အညံ့ဆုံးသော တမန် တော်ဖြစ်၏။ တမန်တော်ဟု ခေါ်ဝေါ်ခြင်းကို မခံထိုက်။

¹⁰But by God's grace I am what I am; and his grace, which [was] towards me, has not been vain; but I have laboured more abundantly than they all, but not *I*, but the grace of God which [was] with me.

¹⁰သို့သော်လည်း ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့်သာ ငါဖြစ်သည်အတိုင်း ငါဖြစ်၏။ ငါခံရသော ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုလည်း အကျိုးမဲ့ခံရသည်မဟုတ်။ အခြား သော တမန်တော်အပေါင်းတို့ထက်၊ ငါသည် သာ၍ ကြိုးစားခြင်းကိုပြု၏။ ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်လည်း၊ ငါကြိုးစားသည်မဟုတ်။ ငါနှင့်အတူရှိသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူး တော်သည် ကြိုးစားတော်မူ၏။

¹¹Whether, therefore, I or they, thus we preach, and thus ye have believed.

¹¹ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငါဖြစ်စေ၊ သူတို့ဖြစ်စေ၊ ဤသို့ ငါတို့သည် ဟောပြောကြ၏။ ဤသို့လည်းသင်တို့သည် ယုံကြည်ကြ၏။

¹²Now if Christ is preached that he is raised from among [the] dead, how say some among you that there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead?

¹²ယခုမှာ၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် သေခြင်းမှ ထမြောက် တော်မူကြောင်းကို ဟောပြောရသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သေသော သူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်းမရှိဟု သင်တို့တွင် အချို့သောသူတို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုရကြသနည်း။

¹³But if there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead, neither is Christ raised:

¹³သေသောသူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်းမရှိလျှင်၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် ထမြောက်တော်မမူ။

¹⁴but if Christ is not raised, then, indeed, vain also [is] our preaching, and vain also your faith.

¹⁴ခရစ်တော်သည် ထမြောက်တော်မမူလျှင်၊ ငါတို့ ဟောပြောခြင်း၌ အကျိုးမရှိ သင်တို့ယုံကြည်ခြင်း၌လည်း အကျိုးမရှိ။

¹⁵And we are found also false witnesses of God; for we have witnessed concerning God that he raised the Christ, whom he has not raised if indeed [those that are] dead are not raised.

¹⁵ထိုမျှမက၊ ငါတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏အမှုမှာ မမှန်သော သက်သေခံဖြစ်ကြ၏။

¹⁶For if [those that are] dead are not raised, neither is Christ raised;

¹⁶အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်းမရှိလျှင်၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ခရစ်တော်ကို ထမြောက်စေတော်မမူ၊ ယခုမှာ၊ ခရစ်တော်ကို ထမြောက် စေတော်မူပြီဟု ငါတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏အကြောင်းကို သက်သေခံကြ၏။ သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည် ထမြောက် ခြင်းမရှိလျှင်၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် ထမြောက်တော်မမူ။

¹⁷but if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.

¹⁷ခရစ်တော်သည် ထမြောက်တော်မမူလျှင်၊ သင်တို့သည် ယုံကြည်သော်လည်း အကျိုးမရှိ၊ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်အောက်၌ ရှိကြသေး၏။

¹⁸Then indeed also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

¹⁸ထိုမှတပါး၊ ခရစ်တော်ကို ယုံကြည်၍ အိပ်ပျော် သောသူတို့သည် ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြပြီ။

¹⁹If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are [the] most miserable of all men.

¹⁹ငါတို့သည် ခရစ်တော်ကို အမှီပြု၍ ယခုဘဝ ၌သာ မြော်လင့်စရာရှိလျှင်၊ အခြားသော သူအပေါင်းတို့ ထက်သာ၍ ဆင်းရဲသောသူ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

²⁰(But now Christ is raised from among [the] dead, first-fruits of those fallen asleep.

²⁰ယခုမူကား၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် သေခြင်းမှ ထမြောက်တော်မူ၍၊ အိပ်ပျော်သောသူတို့တွင် အဦးသီး သော အသီးဖြစ်တော်မူပြီ။

²¹For since by man [came] death, by man also resurrection of [those that are] dead.

²¹သို့ဖြစ်၍ လူအားဖြင့် သေခြင်းတရားသည် တည်သကဲ့သို့၊ သေသောသူတို့၏ ထမြောက်ခြင်းတရား သည် လူအားဖြင့် တည်လျက်ရှိ၏။

²²For as in the Adam all die, thus also in the Christ all shall be made alive.

²²လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အာဒံအားဖြင့်သေခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သည်နည်းတူ၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ခရစ်တော်အား ဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရကြလတံ့။

²³But each in his own rank: [the] first-fruits, Christ; then those that are the Christ's at his coming.

²³သို့ရာတွင် လူအသီးအသီးတို့သည် မိမိတို့ အလှည့်အတိုင်း လိုက်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ခရစ်တော်သည် အဦးအသီးသော အသီးဖြစ်တော်မူ၏၊ ခရစ်တော်သည် ကြွလာတော်မူသောအခါ၊ တပည့်တော်ဖြစ်သော သူတို့ သည် ရှင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁴Then the end, when he gives up the kingdom to him [who is] God and Father; when he shall have annulled all rule and all authority and power.

²⁴ထိုအခါ ခရစ်တော်သည် အထွဋ်အမြတ် အာဏာတန်ခိုးအမျိုးမျိုးကို ပယ်ရှင်း၍၊ မိမိနိုင်ငံကို ဘုရားသခင်တည်းဟူသော ခမည်းတော်၌ အပ်ပြန်တော် မူပြီးမှ ကမ္ဘာကုန်ရလတံ့။

²⁵For he must reign until he put all enemies under his feet.

²⁵ခရစ်တော်သည် ရန်သူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ခြေဘဝါး တော်အောက်၌ ချထားတော်မမူမှီတိုင်အောင် အုပ်စိုး တော်မူရမည်။

²⁶[The] last enemy [that] is annulled [is] death.

²⁶နောက်ဆုံးသော ရန်သူတည်းဟူသော သေမင်းသည် ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရလတံ့။

²⁷For he has put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he says that all things are put in subjection, [it is] evident that [it is] except him who put all things in subjection to him.

²⁷ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို လူသား၏ ခြေအောက်၌ ချထားတော်မူသည်ဟု ကျမ်းစာလာ၏။ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့သည် ချထားလျက်ရှိကြောင်းကို ဆိုသော်၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို လူသားအောက်၌ ချထား တော်မူသောသူသည် ကြွင်းတော်မူကြောင်း ထင်ရှားသတည်း။

²⁸But when all things shall have been brought into subjection to him, then the Son also himself shall be placed in subjection to him who put all things in subjection to him, that God may be all in all.)

²⁸ခပ်သိမ်းသော အရာတို့သည် လူသားအောက်၌ ချထားလျက် ရှိသောအခါ၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို သူ့အောက်၌ ချထားတော်မူသော သူ၏ အုပ်စိုးတော်မူခြင်းကို သားတော်သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်ဝန်ခံလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အလုံးစုံ ဖြစ်တော်မူမည် အကြောင်းတည်း။

²⁹Since what shall the baptised for the dead do if [those that are] dead rise not at all? why also are they baptised for them?

²⁹သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်း အလျှင်းမရှိလျှင်၊ သေလွန်သော သူတို့၏ ကိုယ်စား ဗတ္တိဇံကိုခံသော သူတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ ပြုရမည်နည်း။ သေလွန်သော သူတို့၏ကိုယ်စား အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဗတ္တိဇံ ကို ခံရကြသနည်း။

³⁰Why do *we* also endanger ourselves every hour?

³⁰ငါတို့သည်လည်း ဘေးရောက်အံ့သော အခြင်း အရာနှင့် အဘယ်ကြောင့် တွေ့ရကြသနည်း။

³¹Daily I die, by your boasting which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³¹ငါသည် နေ့တိုင်းအသေခံရ၏ဟု ငါတို့သခင် ယေရှုခရစ်၌ သင်တို့အကြောင်းကြောင့် ငါဝါကြွား ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းကို တိုင်တည်၍ ငါဆိုဝံ့၏။

³²If, [to speak] after the manner of man, I have fought with beasts in Ephesus, what is the profit to me if [those that are] dead do not rise? let us eat and drink; for to-morrow we die.

³²သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်း မရှိလျှင်၊ ဧဖက်မြို့၌ လောကီဝေါဟာရအားဖြင့်၊ အထက် က ငါသည်သားရဲတို့နှင့် တိုက်သော်လည်း၊ အဘယ် အကျိုးရှိသနည်း။ စားကြကုန်အံ့၊ သောက်ကြကုန်အံ့၊ နက်ဖြန်သေရကြမည်။

³³Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

³³အလွဲမယူကြနှင့်။ မကောင်းသော သူတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကောင်းသော အကျင့်ဓလေ့ ယိုယွင်းတတ်၏။

³⁴Awake up righteously, and sin not; for some are ignorant of God: I speak to you as a matter of shame.

³⁴တရားသဖြင့် နိုးကြလော့။ ဒုစရိုက်ကိုမပြုကြနှင့်။ အချို့သော သူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို မသိကြ။ ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်၊ သင်တို့ကို ရှက်ကြောက်စေခြင်းငှါ ငါဆို၏။

³⁵But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what body do they come?

³⁵သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ ထမြောက်ကြမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်သို့သော ကိုယ်နှင့်ပေါ်လာကြမည် နည်းဟု တစုံတယောက်သောသူ မေးလိမ့်မည်။

³⁶Fool; what *thou* sowest is not quickened unless it die.

³⁶အချင်းလူမိုက်၊ သင်စိုက်သောမျိုးစေ့မပျက်လျှင် မရှင်တတ်။

³⁷And what thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain: it may be of wheat, or some one of the rest:

³⁷ထိုမှတပါး မျိုးစေ့ကို စိုက်သောအခါ၊ နောက် ဖြစ်လတံ့သော ကိုယ်ကိုမစိုက်၊ ဂျုံစပါးဖြစ်စေ၊ အခြား သောစပါးဖြစ်စေ၊ အစေ့သက်သက်ကို စိုက်တတ်၏။

³⁸and God gives to it a body as he has pleased, and to each of the seeds its own body.

³⁸ဘုရားသခင်သည် အလိုတော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ကိုယ်ကို ပေးတော်မူ၏။ မျိုးစေ့အသီးအသီးတို့အား လည်း၊ မိမိတို့မျိုးအတိုင်း ကိုယ်ကိုပေးတော်မူ၏။

³⁹Every flesh [is] not the same flesh, but one [is] of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another [flesh] of birds, and another of fishes.

³⁹အသားရှိသမျှတို့သည် တမျိုးတည်းမဟုတ်။ လူသားတမျိုး၊ အမဲသားတမျိုး၊ ငါးသားတမျိုး၊ ငှက်သား တမျိုး၊ အသီးအသီးရှိကြ၏။

⁴⁰And [there are] heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but different is the glory of the heavenly, different that of the earthly:

⁴⁰ကောင်းကင်အကောင်အထည်လည်းရှိ၏။ မြေကြီးအကောင်အထည်လည်းရှိ၏။ ကောင်းကင် အကောင်အထည်၏ ဂုဏ်အသရေလည်းတမျိုး၊ မြေကြီး အကောင်အထည်၏ ဂုဏ်အသရေလည်းတမျိုးဖြစ်၏။

⁴¹one [the] sun's glory, and another [the] moon's glory, and another [the] stars' glory; for star differs from star in glory.

⁴¹နေ၏ဂုဏ်အသရေတမျိုး၊ လ၏ဂုဏ်အသရေတမျိုး၊ ကြယ်တို့၏ ဂုဏ်အသရေတမျိုးအသီးအသီး ရှိကြ၏။ ကြယ်တို့၏ ဂုဏ်အသရေသည်လည်း အသီးသီး အခြားခြား ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁴²Thus also [is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruptibility.

⁴²ထိုနည်းတူ၊ သေသောသူတို့၏ ထမြောက်ခြင်း အကြောင်းအရာဖြစ်၏။ ကိုယ်သည်စိုက်သောအခါ၊ ပုပ်တတ်သောသဘေရှိ၏။ ထမြောက်သောအခါ မပုပ် နိုင်သောအဖြစ်၌ တည်၏။

⁴³It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

⁴³စိုက်သောအခါဂုဏ်အသရေပျက်၏။ ထမြောက်သောအခါ ဂုဏ်အသရေနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၏။ စိုက်သောအခါ အစွမ်းမရှိ။ ထမြောက်သောအခါ အစွမ်းနှင့်ပြည့်စုံ၏။

⁴⁴It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body: if there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual [one].

⁴⁴စိုက်သောအခါ ဇာတိပကတိ ကိုယ်ဖြစ်၏။ ထမြောက်သောအခါ ဝိညာဏကိုယ်ဖြစ်၏။ ဇာတိပကတိ ကိုယ်တမျိုး၊ ဝိညာဏကိုယ်တမျိုးရှိ၏။

⁴⁵Thus also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit.

⁴⁵ကျမ်းစာလာသည်ကား၊ ရှေ့ဦးစွာသော လူအာဒံသည် အသက်ရှင်သော သတ္တဝါဖြစ်၏ဟု လာသတည်း။ ယခုတွင်နောက်ဆုံးဖြစ်သော အာဒံမူကား၊ အသက်ရှင် စေတတ်သော ဝိညာဉ်ဖြစ်၏။

⁴⁶But that which is spiritual [was] not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual:

⁴⁶ဝိညာဏကိုယ်သည် ရှေ့ဦးစွာဖြစ်သည်မဟုတ်၊ ဇာတိပကတိကိုယ်သည် ရှေ့ဦးစွာဖြစ်၏။ နောက်မှ ဝိညာဏကိုယ်ဖြစ်၏။

⁴⁷the first man out of [the] earth, made of dust; the second man, out of heaven.

⁴⁷ရှေ့ဦးစွာသော လူသည်မြေကြီးကဖြစ်သော ကြောင့် မြေသားဖြစ်၏။ ဒုတိယလူမူကား၊ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံက ဖြစ်တော်မူသော သခင်ပေတည်း။

⁴⁸Such as he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and such as the heavenly [one], such also the heavenly [ones].

⁴⁸မြေသားတို့သည် ထိုမြေသားကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ကောင်းကင်သားတို့သည် ထိုကောင်းကင်သားကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁴⁹And as we have borne the image of the [one] made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly [one].

⁴⁹ငါတို့သည် မြေသား၏ ပုံသဏ္ဌာန်ကို ဆောင်သကဲ့သို့၊ ကောင်းကင်သား၏ပုံသဏ္ဌာန်ကို ဆောင်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။

⁵⁰But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruptibility.

⁵⁰ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ လူအသွေးအသားသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်ကို အမွေမခံနိုင်၊ ပုပ်တတ်သောအရာသည် မပုပ်နိုင်သောအဖြစ်ကို အမွေမခံနိုင်။

⁵¹Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed,

⁵¹နက်နဲသော အရာတခုကိုငါပြဦးမည်။ ငါတို့ ရှိသမျှသည် အိပ်ပျော်ရကြမည်မဟုတ်။

⁵²in an instant, in [the] twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and *we* shall be changed.

⁵²သို့သော်လည်း၊ နောက်ဆုံးသော တံပိုးမှုတ်သောအခါ၊ တခဏခြင်းတွင် မျက်စိတမှိတ်၌ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှ သည် ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရကြမည်။ ထိုတံပိုးမှုတ်ချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ၊ သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည်၊ မပုပ်နိုင် သောအဖြစ်၌ တည်လျက်ထမြောက်၍၊ ငါတို့ရှိသမျှသည် ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရကြမည်။

⁵³For this corruptible must needs put on incorruptibility, and this mortal put on immortality.

⁵³ယခုမျက်မှောက်ပုပ်တတ်သော အရာသည် မပုပ်နိုင်သောအဖြစ်သို့ ဝင်စားရမည်။ ယခုမျက်မှောက် သေတတ်သော အရာသည် မသေနိုင်သောအဖြစ်သို့ ဝင်စားရမည်။

⁵⁴But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word written: Death has been swallowed up in victory.

⁵⁴ဤပုပ်တတ်သောအရာသည် မပုပ်နိုင်သော အဖြစ်သို့၎င်း၊ ဤသေတတ်သောအရာသည် မသေနိုင် သောအဖြစ်သို့၎င်း၊ ဝင်စားသောအခါ၊ သေခြင်းသည် အောင်ခြင်း၌နစ်မြုပ်ပြီဟု ကျမ်းစာ၌လာချက်ပြည့် စုံလိမ့်မည်။

⁵⁵Where, O death, [is] thy sting? where, O death, thy victory?

⁵⁵အိုသေမင်း၊ သင်၏လက်နက်သည်၊ အဘယ်မှာ ရှိသနည်း။ အိုမရဏနိုင်ငံ၊ သင်၏အောင်ခြင်းသည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။

⁵⁶Now the sting of death [is] sin, and the power of sin the law;

⁵⁶သေမင်း၏လက်နက်ကား၊ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ပေတည်း။ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်၏ တန်ခိုးကား၊ ပညတ်တရား ပေတည်း။

⁵⁷but thanks to God, who gives us the victory by our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵⁷ငါတို့သခင် ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့် ငါတို့အား အောင်ခြင်းအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်သည် ကြီးလှစွတကား။

⁵⁸So then, my beloved brethren, be firm, immovable, abounding always in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in [the] Lord.
