18

1And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
1Huchiin Bildad Sua miin a dawnga, hichiin a chi a:
2How long will ye hunt for words? Be intelligent, and then we will speak.
2Thute zonga bangtan thang kam ding na hia ua? Ngaihtuah in, huaikhit chiangin ka pau ding uh.
3Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed stupid in your sight?
3Bangdia gamsa banga sima oma, na mitmuh ua sianglou honghi ka hi ua?
4Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of its place?
4Nang na hehna kipumpei nang jiakin lei mangngilhin a om diam? ahihkeileh a mun akipatin suangpi suan khiakin a om diam?
5Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the flame of his fire shall not shine.
5A hi, migilou vakna mihsakin a om dinga, a meiek a tang kei ding.
6The light shall become dark in his tent, and his lamp over him shall be put out.
6A puanin ah vakna a mial dia, a tunga a khawnvak mihsak ahi ding.
7The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
7A hatna kalsuante hihtuailuai ahi dia, huan amah thupha genin amah a paikhe ding hi.
8For he is sent into the net by his own feet, and he walketh on the meshes;
8Amah khe mahmahin lah len sungah amah a pai lut ngala, huan len ah a kiawksak hi.
9The gin taketh [him] by the heel, the snare layeth hold on him;
9Thangin a khetulah a man dia, thangin amah a len ding hi.
10A cord is hidden for him in the ground, and his trap in the way.
10Leiah amaha dingin a ba selin a oma, lampi ah amah adin thang.
11Terrors make him afraid on every side, and chase him at his footsteps.
11Kihtakhuaiten ning chiteng ah amah a lausak dia, a khetul ah a delhjui ding hi.
12His strength is hunger-bitten, and calamity is ready at his side.
12A hatna gilkial nekin a om dia, huan tuahsiatna a khawlna dingin mansain a om ding.
13The firstborn of death devoureth the members of his body; it will devour his members.
13A pumpi hiangte a negai dinga, ahi, ahiangte sihna ta masapenin a negai ding.
14His confidence shall be rooted out of his tent, and it shall lead him away to the king of terrors:
14A suan a puanin akipan zungkalh khiakin a om dia; huan lauhuainate kumpipa kianga piin a om ding.
15They who are none of his shall dwell in his tent; brimstone shall be showered upon his habitation:
15Amaha hi lou a puanin sungah teng a om ding: a tenna ah kat theh jakin a om ding hi.
16His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off;
16Nuailamah a zungte a keu dia, huan tunglamah ahiang sat khiak ahi ding.
17His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name on the pasture-grounds.
17Lei akipanin a theihgige a mangthang ding; huan kongzing ah min a neikei ding.
18He is driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
18Khovak akipanin khomial ah hawllut ahi dinga, huan khovel akipana delh khiak.
19He hath neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining in the places of his sojourn.
19A mite lakah tapa a neikei dia tapa tapa leng: a omna ah kuamah omlai a om kei ding hi.
20They that come after shall be astonished at his day, as they that went before [them] were affrighted.
20Tumlama omten a ni lamdang a sa ding ua, suahlama omte hihlaua a om bang un.Huchibang mi diktatloute tennate ahi petmaha, huan hiai Pathian theilou mi mun ahi hi.
21Surely, such are the dwellings of the unrighteous man, and such the place of him that knoweth not ùGod.
21Huchibang mi diktatloute tennate ahi petmaha, huan hiai Pathian theilou mi mun ahi hi.
