Job

23

1And Job answered and said,
1Huchiin Jobin a dawnga, hichiin a chi a:
2Even to-day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
2Tuni mahmahin ka phunna helhuai ahi: ka thuakna ka mauna sangin a gikjaw hi.
3Oh that I knew where I might find him, that I might come to his seat!
3Aw amah ka muhna mun thei lengla, a tutna mahmah ah hoh thei leng aw!
4I would order the cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments;
4A maah ka thu ka bawlhoih dia, thugentein ka kam dimsak ding hi veng.
5I would know the words he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
5A honna dawnna ding thute ka thei dia, huan bang ahia ka kianga a gen ding ka theisiam ding.
6Would he plead against me with [his] great power? Nay; but he would give heed unto me.
6A thilhihtheihna letnain kei a honsel diam? Ii; himahleh kei a honlimsak ding hi.
7There would an upright man reason with him; and I should be delivered for ever from my judge.
7Huailaiah mi dikin amah thu a sutpih thei dia; huchiin ka vaihawmmi akipan suahtaksakin ka om tawntungta ding hi.
8Lo, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I do not perceive him;
8Ngaiin, mailam juanin ka paia, himahleh huailaiah a om kei; huan nunglam juanin, himahleh amah ka mu kei hi.
9On the left hand, where he doth work, but I behold [him] not; he hideth himself on the right hand, and I see [him] not.
9Veilam pangah, na sep laiin, himahleh amah ka mu theikeia: taklam pangah a bu, amah ka muh theihlouhna dingin.
10But he knoweth the way that I take; he trieth me, I shall come forth as gold.
10Hiamhleh ka zuih lampi a thei a; a hon zeet laiin, dangkaeng bangin ka honsuakkhe ding hi.
11My foot hath held to his steps; his way have I kept, and not turned aside.
11Ka khein a kalsuante a len kipa; a lampi ka juita, ka pial kei.
12Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have laid up the words of his mouth more than the purpose of my own heart.
12A mukte thupiak akipan ka pai kik keia, a kama thute a kiphamoh ka an sangin ka kholkhawm jaw hi.
13But he is in one [mind], and who can turn him? And what his soul desireth, that will he do.
13Himahleh amah lungsim khek lou ahia, amah kuan a hei thei dia? a khain a deih, huai mah a hih jel hi.
14For he will perform [what] is appointed for me; and many such things are with him.
14Kei dia sehsa a hih ngala: huan thil huchibang tampi a kiangah a om hi.
15Therefore am I troubled at his presence; I consider, and I am afraid of him.
15Huaijiakin a omna ah ka buaia; ka ngaihtuah chiangin amah ka lau hi.
16For ùGod hath made my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me;
16Pathianin lah ka lungtang a bahsakta ngala, huan Thilbangkimhihtheiin a honhihbuaita hi.Khomial main satkhiakin ka om ngal keia, ka maia kipan khomial sah leng a khuh sam kei hi.
17Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he hidden the gloom from me.
17Khomial main satkhiakin ka om ngal keia, ka maia kipan khomial sah leng a khuh sam kei hi.
