Psalms

48

1{A Song; a Psalm. Of the sons of Korah.} Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the hill of his holiness.
1Toupa a thupi a, nakpi taka phat ding ahi, i Pathian khopi ah, a tang siangthou ah.
2Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
2A sandan a kilawm, khovel tengteng kipahna, Zion tang ahi, mallam panga. Kumpipa thupi tak khopi.
3God is known in her palaces as a high fortress.
3A inpi ahte Pathian in insang a hihdan a kitheisaka.
4For behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together;
4Ngaiin, kumpipate tuh a kikhawm khawm ua, a pai khawmta uhi.
5They saw, -- so they marvelled; they were troubled, they fled in consternation:
5A mu ua, huchiin lamdang a sa ua; a mangbang ua, a paimang pah uhi.
6Trembling took hold upon them there; anguish, as of a woman in travail.
6Huaiah linna in a mana; numei nauvei natna in a matlai bang in.
7With an east wind thou hast broken the ships of Tarshish.
7Suahlam huih in Tarshis long liante a nahihse jel hi.
8As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God doth establish it for ever. Selah.
8Sepaihte Toupa khopi ah, i Pathian khopi ah, bila i jak bang takin i muta: Pathianin huai khopi khantawn adingin a hihkip ding. Selah.
9We have thought, O God, of thy loving-kindness, in the midst of thy temple.
9Pathian aw, na biakin sunggil ah na chitna ka ngaihtuahta uhi.
10According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
10Pathian aw, na min bang ngeiin na phatna tuh kawlmong phain a om a: na khut taklam tuh diktatna in a dim hi.
11Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
11Na vaihawmnate jiakin Zion tang kipak takin om henla, Juda tanute nuamin om uhen.
12Walk about Zion, and go round about her: count the towers thereof;
12Zion kim ah, a kimvelin pai unla: a galven insangte leng sim un.
13Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces: that ye may tell it to the generation following.
13A kulhte chiamteh hoih unla, a inpite ngaihtuah un; khangthak hong om nawnte kianga na hilh theihna ding un.Hiai Pathian khantawn khantawna i Pathian hi ding ahi ngala: sih tanpha a leng honpipa ahi ding hi.
14For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.
14Hiai Pathian khantawn khantawna i Pathian hi ding ahi ngala: sih tanpha a leng honpipa ahi ding hi.
