1{To the chief Musician. Upon the Gittith. [A Psalm] of Asaph.} Sing ye joyously unto God our strength, shout aloud unto the God of Jacob;
1Pathian honhihhatpa pahtawiin nuamtakin lasa unla; Jakobte Pathian pahtawin nuam takin kikou un.
2Raise a song, and sound the tambour, the pleasant harp with the lute.
2Phatna lasa unla, khuangnou te, kaihging ngaihnophuaite, pekging te toh hontawi un.
3Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the set time, on our feast day:
3Kha thakin pengkul mut unla, kha lika I ankuangluina thupi niin.
4For this is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob;
4Israelte dinga thuseh ahi ngala, Jakobte Pathian dan ahi.
5He ordained it in Joseph [for] a testimony, when he went forth over the land of Egypt, [where] I heard a language that I knew not.
5Huai tuh Joseph te laka thutheihsakna dingin a seh ahi. Aigupta gam tunga a pai khiak laiin: ka theihlouh pau ka jak laiin.
6I removed his shoulder from the burden; his hands were freed from the basket.
6A liangjang thil gik akipanin ka lasuana: a khutte loh akipana khahin a om hi.
7Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
7Mangbatniin non sama, ka honhumbita; van ging bukna munah ka hon dawnga; Meribah tuiahte khawng ka hon zeet ahi. Selah
8Hear, my people, and I will testify unto thee; O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me!
8Ka mite aw, ngaikhia unla, ka hontheihsak bangin; Israelte aw, ka thu ngaikhe nuamle uteh aw!
9There shall no strange ùgod be in thee, neither shalt thou worship any foreign ùgod.
9Gam dang Pathian himhim na lak uah a om ding uh ahi keia; mi dang Pathian himhim na biak ding uh leng ahi kei hi.
10I am Jehovah thy God, that brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
10Kei, TOUPA na Pathian uh ka hi a, Aigupta gam akipan honpi khepa tak: na kam uh lian kat unla, ka hihdim ding ahi.
11But my people hearkened not to my voice, and Israel would none of me.
11Himahleh ka miten ka aw a ngaikhe sam kei ua; Israelten hon deih kei uhi.
12So I gave them up unto their own hearts' stubbornness: they walked after their own counsels.
12Huchiin a lungtang uh genhakdan bang jela om dingin ka khahzamta ahi, amau hoihsak banga a om na ding un.
13Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, that Israel had walked in my ways!
13Aw, ka miten ka thu ngaikhiain, Israelte ka lampi-ahte pai le u aw:
14I would soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
14A melmate uh ka hihneu zokin, amau galte tungah ka khut ka lik ding hi.
15The haters of Jehovah would have come cringing unto him; but their time would have been for ever.
15TOUPA hote a kiangah a kipe lut ding uhi; amau hun bel a om nilouhlouh ding ahi.Nou bel buh hoihpenin kon vak ding hi; suangpi-a khuaijuin ka hontaisak ding ahi.
16And he would have fed them with the finest of wheat; yea, with honey out of the rock would I have satisfied thee.
16Nou bel buh hoihpenin kon vak ding hi; suangpi-a khuaijuin ka hontaisak ding ahi.
