¹{A Psalm of Asaph.} God standeth in the assembly of ùGod, he judgeth among the gods.

¹ خدا در دادگاه آسمانی خود بر مسند قضاوت نشسته قاضیان را محاکمه می‌نماید.

²How long will ye judge unrighteously, and accept the person of the wicked? Selah.

² «تا به کی با بی‌عدالتی داوری می‌کنید و از ظالمان طرفداری می‌نمایید؟

³Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and the destitute;

³ از حق بیچارگان و یتیمان دفاع کنید، و با محتاجان و درماندگان با انصاف رفتار کنید.

⁴Rescue the poor and needy, deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

⁴ آنان را از چنگ ظالمان برهانید.

⁵They know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are moved.

⁵ «شما احمق و نادان هستید و در جهالت به سر می‌برید، بنابراین عدالت و انصاف در جهان از بین رفته است.

⁶I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High;

⁶ من شما را 'خدایان' و 'پسران خدای متعال' خطاب کردم،

⁷But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

⁷ امّا شما مانند انسانهای دیگر خواهید مُرد و همچون سایر رهبران از دنیا خواهید رفت.» خدایا، بیا و جهان را داوری فرما، زیرا اختیار همهٔ اقوام جهان در دست توست.

⁸Arise, O God, judge the earth; for *thou* shalt inherit all the nations.
