¹{A Psalm.} Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.

¹ برای خداوند سرودی تازه بسرایید، زیرا او کارهای شگفت‌انگیز انجام داده است، او با قدرت بازوی مقدّس خود پیروز شده است.

²Jehovah hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.

² خداوند پیروزی خود را اعلام کرد و قدرت نجات بخش خود را به سایر ملل نشان داد.

³He hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

³ او با صداقت و محبّت پایدار خود به قولی که به قوم اسرائیل داده بود وفا کرد و تمام مردم جهان، پیروزی خدای ما را مشاهده کردند.

⁴Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.

⁴ ای سا‌کنان زمین، با شادی برای خداوند سرود بخوانید، با سرودهای خود و آواز شادی او را بپرستید.

⁵Sing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;

⁵ خداوند را با بربط و سرود ستایش کنید.

⁶With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

⁶ شیپور و سُرنا را به صدا درآورید و با فریاد شادی برای خداوند، پادشاه ما بسرایید.

⁷Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

⁷ دریا و هرچه در آن است، جهان و ساکنان آن به جوش و خروش آیند.

⁸Let the floods clap [their] hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,

⁸ ای رودخانه‌ها دست بزنید و ای کوهها، در حضور خداوند، با شادی آواز بخوانید، زیرا او برای فرمانروایی جهان می‌آید و جهان را با عدالت و انصاف داوری خواهد کرد.

⁹Before Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

⁹ زیرا او برای فرمانروایی جهان می‌آید و جهان را با عدالت و انصاف داوری خواهد کرد.
