1{For Solomon.} O God, give the king thy judgments, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
1Šalamúnov. Bože, svoje súdy daj kráľovi a svoju spravedlivosť synovi kráľovmu,
2He will judge thy people with righteousness, and thine afflicted with judgment.
2aby súdil tvoj ľud v spravedlivosti a tvojich biednych múdrym súdom.
3The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, by righteousness.
3Vtedy donesú vrchy ľudu pokoj i vŕšky v spravedlivosti.
4He will do justice to the afflicted of the people; he will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor.
4Bude súdiť biednych z ľudu, pomôže synom biedneho a rozdrtí utláčateľa.
5They shall fear thee as long as sun and moon endure, from generation to generation.
5Budú sa ťa báť, kým len bude slnce, a dokiaľ bude trvať mesiac, pokolenie pokolení.
6He shall come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
6Sostúpi jako dážď na pôkos a jako tichý dážď hojný, kropiaci zem.
7In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon be no more.
7Za jeho dní bude kvitnúť spravedlivý, a bude veľký pokoj, kým len bude trvať mesiac.
8And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
8A bude panovať od mora po more a od rieky až po konce zeme.
9The dwellers in the desert shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.
9Pred ním sa budú skláňať obyvatelia pustín, a jeho nepriatelia budú lízať prach.
10The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer tribute:
10Kráľovia Taršíša a ostrovov donesú pôcty; kráľovia zo Šéby a Sáby budú obetovať dary.
11Yea, all kings shall bow down before him; all nations shall serve him.
11A budú sa mu klaňať všetci kráľovia; všetky národy mu budú slúžiť.
12For he will deliver the needy who crieth, and the afflicted, who hath no helper;
12Lebo vytrhne chudobného, volajúceho, a biedneho a toho, kto nemá spomocníka.
13He will have compassion on the poor and needy, and will save the souls of the needy:
13Zľutuje sa nad slabým a chudobným a duše chudobných spasí.
14He will redeem their souls from oppression and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
14Vykúpi ich dušu z útisku a z násilia, a ich krv je drahá v jeho očiach.
15And he shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; and prayer shall be made for him continually: all the day shall he be blessed.
15A budú žiť a budú mu dávať zlato zo Šéby, a vždy sa budú modliť za neho. Žehnať ho budú každého dňa.
16There shall be abundance of corn in the earth, upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon; and they of the city shall bloom like the herb of the earth.
16Bude hojnosť obilia v zemi hore na temeni vrchov; jeho úroda bude šumieť ako Libanon, a ľudia z mesta budú kvitnúť ako bylina zeme.
17His name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and [men] shall bless themselves in him; all nations shall call him blessed.
17Jeho meno bude na veky; dokiaľ trvá slnce, bude trvať i jeho meno. Ľudia sa ním budú žehnať; všetky národy ho budú blahoslaviť.
18Blessed be Jehovah Elohim, the God of Israel, who alone doeth wondrous things!
18Nech je požehnaný Hospodin Bôh, Bôh Izraelov, ktorý sám jediný činí divy.
19And blessed be his glorious name for ever! and let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen, and Amen.
19A nech je požehnané meno jeho slávy až na veky! A nech je celá zem naplnená jeho slávou! Ameň, ameň.
