Psalms

120

1{A Song of degrees.} In my trouble I called unto Jehovah, and he answered me.
1Pakutambudzika kwangu ndakadana kuna Jehovha, Iye akandipindura.
2Jehovah, deliver my soul from the lying lip, from the deceitful tongue.
2Rwirai mweya wangu, Jehovha, pamiromo inoreva nhema, Naparurimi runonyengedzera.
3What shall be given unto thee, what shall be added unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?
3Iwe uchapiweiko, chinyi chichawedzerwa kwauri, Iwe rurimi runonyengedzera?
4Sharp arrows of a mighty one, with burning coals of broom-wood.
4Miseve inopinza yeanesimba, Namazimbe anopfuta omurara.
5Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
5Ndine ropa rakaipa zvandiri mutorwa paMesheki, Zvandigere pamatende eKedhari!
6My soul hath long dwelt with them that hate peace.
6Mweya wangu wakagara nguva refu Neanovenga rugare.
7I [am for] peace; but when I speak, *they* [are] for war.
7Ini ndinoda rugare; Asi kana ndichitaura, ivo vanotsvaka kurwa.
