1Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by God's will, and the brother Timotheus, to the assembly of God which is in Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia.
1 Ay, Bulos, ay ya Almasihu Yesu diya no Irikoy miila do. In da Timotiyos iri nya-izo, iri go ga Irikoy marga fo kaŋ go Korint kwaara, da hanantey kulu mo kaŋ yaŋ go Akaya laabo kulu ra.
2Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Gomni nda laakal kanay ma bara araŋ banda kaŋ yaŋ ga fun iri Baabo Irikoy da Rabbi Yesu Almasihu do.
3Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement;
3 Iri m'iri Rabbi Yesu Almasihu Irikoyo kaŋ ti a Baabo mo saabu. Nga ga ti Baabo kaŋ to da suuji, bine-gaabandiyaŋ kulu Irikoyo mo no.
4who encourages us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to encourage those who are in any tribulation whatever, through the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged of God.
4 A go g'iri biney gaabandi iri kankami kulu ra, hal iri ma du ka borey biney gaabandi kaŋ yaŋ go kankami dumi kulu ra. Iri m'a te mo da bine-gaabandiyaŋ kaŋ iri bumbey du Irikoy do.
5Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ abound towards us, so through the Christ does our encouragement also abound.
5 Zama mate kaŋ cine Almasihu gurzuga go ga baa ka tonton iri gaa, yaadin mo no iri ga du bine-gaabi nda baayaŋ Almasihu do.
6But whether we are in tribulation, [it is] for your encouragement and salvation, wrought in the endurance of the same sufferings which *we* also suffer,
6 D'iri go kankami ra, a go araŋ bine-gaabandiyaŋ da faaba se no. Wala d'iri go ga du bine-gaabandiyaŋ, woodin mo go zama araŋ ma du bine-gaabi se no, kaŋ g'araŋ gaa araŋ ma suuru nda gurzuga din kaŋ iri mo go ga maa.
7(and our hope for you [is] sure;) or whether we are encouraged, [it is] for your encouragement and salvation: knowing that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also of the encouragement.
7 Beeja kaŋ iri gonda araŋ boŋ tabbat, za kaŋ iri ga bay mate kaŋ cine in d'araŋ go gurzugay ra care banda, yaadin mo no in d'araŋ du bine-gaabi care banda.
8For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened [to us] in Asia, that we were excessively pressed beyond [our] power, so as to despair even of living.
8 Zama iri si ba araŋ ma jaŋ ka bay, nya-izey, kankami kaŋ du iri Aziya ra. I n'iri jarandi gumo-gumo, hal a bisa iri gaabo, hal iri na laakal kaa baa iri fundey gaa.
9But we ourselves had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not have our trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead;
9 Haciika, iri bumbey biney ra iri maa i na buuyaŋ ciiti dumbu iri se, hal iri ma si naanay iri boŋ gaa, amma iri ma de Irikoy gaa, nga kaŋ ga buukoy tunandi.
10who has delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver; in whom we confide that he will also yet deliver;
10 A n'iri kaa kambe buuyaŋ laalo wo dumi gaa, a g'iri kaa kambe mo. Iri na beeje sinji a do a ga ye k'iri kaa kambe hala hõ,
11ye also labouring together by supplication for us that the gift towards us, through means of many persons, may be the subject of the thanksgiving of many for us.
11 za kaŋ araŋ mo go g'iri gaa d'araŋ ŋwaarayyaŋey, hala gomno kaŋ Irikoy n'iri no boro boobo adduwey sabbay se ma naŋ boro boobo ma saabuyaŋ te iri sabbay se.
12For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity before God, (not in fleshly wisdom but in God's grace,) we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly towards you.
12 Zama iri darza haro neeya: iri bine lasaabo seeda ga ti iri n'iri goray te ndunnya ra, (sanku binde araŋ do haray), da hananyaŋ da cimi kaŋ fun Irikoy do. Iri man'a te da ndunnya wo laakal, amma Irikoy gomno do no iri n'a te.
13For we do not write other things to you but what ye well know and recognise; and I hope that ye will recognise to the end,
13 Zama iri si ga hantum araŋ se kala haŋ kaŋ araŋ ga hin ka caw da haŋ kaŋ araŋ ga faham d'a mo. Ay go ga beeje daŋ,
14even as also ye have recognised us in part, that we are your boast, even as *ye* [are] ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
14 da mate kaŋ araŋ faham d'iri kayna-kayna, araŋ ga faham gumo-gumo, kaŋ iri no ga ti araŋ darza haro, danga mate kaŋ araŋ no ga ti iri waney Rabbi Yesu zaaro ra.
15And with this confidence I purposed to come to you previously, that ye might have a second favour;
15 Naanayo din boŋ no, ay miila ay ma kaa araŋ do waato zama araŋ ma du gomni hinkanta.
16and to pass through to Macedonia by you, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be set forward by you to Judaea.
17Having therefore this purpose, did I then use lightness? Or what I purpose, do I purpose according to flesh, that there should be with me yea yea, and nay nay?
17 To. Waato kaŋ ay go ga woodin miila, ay na bine hinka-hinka cabe no? Wala hayey din kaŋ ay go ga miila ay ma te, ay n'i miila danga ndunnya boroyaŋ no, hal i ma kaa ka gar oho-oho da hã'a-hã'a go ay do?
18Now God [is] faithful, that our word to you is not yea and nay.
18 Amma sanda mate kaŋ Irikoy ya naanaykoy no, iri sanno manti oho da hã'a no araŋ se.
19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, he who has been preached by us among you (by me and Silvanus and Timotheus), did not become yea and nay, but yea *is* in him.
19 Zama Irikoy Izo, Almasihu Yesu, kaŋ boŋ iri nda Sila da Timotiyos waazu araŋ game ra, a manti oho da hã'a. Amma nga wo, oho no go a do.
20For whatever promises of God [there are], in him is the yea, and in him the amen, for glory to God by us.
20 Zama Irikoy alkawley kulu, a do no i ga ciya oho. Woodin sabbay se a do mo no iri ga ne «Amin» Irikoy darza se.
21Now he that establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, [is] God,
21 Nga mo kaŋ goono g'iri tabbatandi araŋ banda Almasihu ra, nga kaŋ n'iri suuban mo, ga ti Irikoy.
22who also has sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
22 A n'iri kawaatimandi mo k'iri no nga Biya iri biney ra a ma ciya daymi kayandiyaŋ.
23But I call God to witness upon my soul that to spare you I have not yet come to Corinth.
23 Amma Irikoy ga te ay se seeda, ay ze d'ay fundo ay mana kaa Korint jina zama ay ma du ka jalla araŋ gaa se.
24Not that we rule over your faith, but are fellow-workmen of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
24 Manti sanda iri gonda koytaray araŋ cimbeero boŋ no bo. Amma iri ya araŋ goykasinyaŋ no araŋ farhã se, zama cimbeeri ra no araŋ go ga kay.
